Upbeat dance music. Blue LED lights on a night stoned bar. Delicious yaki soba. Great vegetarian menu. Great prices. Extensive sushi menu. Table had huge splits in it from hot things being placed on it.

There are good sushi places in Atlanta. There's really no reason to go here. The sushi is just not very good. The udon used the good but you can tell now that the quality is not there

Love this place. Tasty rolls, reasonably priced, and its just a relaxing venue. They dont throw buzzwords at you, they just describe the dish and what kind of person likes what. Very simple, very effective.

My girls and I come here very often. I also come during my lunches with coworkers a lot too. Note that this place is truly a casual dining place. With that in mind, the food is always good. The buffet, superb. The price is fair. Sometimes though, service can lack. I often have to go a whole meal without water or being asked if I need something and would have to wait awhile to get my check. Other than that, I feel like it s fair for the price and good food.

Great environment. Tried their lunch buffet today for the first time (although I've been here already a few times). Buffet was fresh, lots of options, and clean. I will definitely be back! Great customer service and staff.

We ordered over $70 worth of sushi (5 different rolls) this evening. We got through a couple of bites before realizing it was the worst sushi we ve ever eaten. The texture, smell and taste were all off putting. We eat sushi at least once a month and it s one of our favorite cuisines. When we called the restaurant to complain they tried to put the blame on DoorDash for why the sushi wasn t fresh. The DoorDash delivery person was on time and had nothing to do with how terrible their sushi was. I am really disappointed that a meal we were really looking forward to was a total wash and waste of money and now we re just waiting and hoping we don t get food poising.

Really good food, good prices. The tuna symphony is delicious. I live in midtown and go there quite often! You can even charge your electric car on the parking!

I like Ru Sans chain a lot and this is the best local restaurant of theirs ive so far visited. Everything is just superb here in my opinion. And especially menu and the prices. My fav is so called Japanese dinner based on grilled tuna (only $17 for big tuna stake entree + soup + salad = wonderful option!) Also this particular location has very tasty all-cooked Catherine roll (other Ru Sans Ive visited didnt have it)

Only have a few dollars in your pocket, but still craving decent sushi? Check out Ru San's. Some of the choices aren't exactly going to fill you up but for a few dollars it's hard to beat. The atmosphere is lively the sushi is cheap and the waitresses will even sing a Saki Bomb song with you.

My family and I went here on a Saturday around 11:40 and didnt realize they opened at noon. They saw us and kindly let us in so we didn't have to wait in the heat. The service was excellent and they provided my kids with the beginner chopsticks when they saw them having difficulty, without us asking for them The food was fresh and delicious with a great selection. I live in lawrenceville but will be coming back again, it was worth the drive.

There is not a single Japanese working at this place when we visited. I occasionally make maki myself at home, and am always curious to watch the pros do it. The sushi chef put no effort into making a tight roll, which totally showed when it came to eating time. Service was indifferent. I have to say, though, that the fish was fresh and delicious, and portions generous. Overall not bad, bit would hope Atlanta has better options.

This used to be my favorite spot to get good inexpensive sushi for lunch. I have two favorite servers there who are sweet and cute as can be. However, the fact that they have had a C grade from the board of health has kept me away for a while. I went back this week to see if they cleaned up their act....nope, still a C. They seem to think it is okay to have a C grade serving sushi. Out of curiosity I checked the State Board of Health grade for them, not only have they had a C for the last 6 months but they also received a "U" for unsatisfactory with a number score of 52, one year ago!I have to pass on here going forward until they either get new management or get glowing grades on future health department inspections.

I walked to Rusan's to grab dinner on a short break from a nearby hotel that I work at and I was treated so poorly. I was placing a to go order and the girl at the stand pretty much Shooed me away to another area. It was busy but when I came in no one was behind me. When the other girl came to take my order I explained to her that I didn't know the name of the rolls, I also explained that they were fried, I pointed to one on the menu and the second one I wasn't sure of but I did know what was in it and was about to point it out on the menu. While I was still talking she said I' ll come back when you are ready and walked away while I was in mid sentence. I went back to the first girl and she thought I was turning in the menu. I said oh I haven't ordered yet, she walked away from me while I was ordering. She completely ignored me and started assisting a party waiting to be seated. I couldn't believe that had just happened. I left. At our hotel we refer a lot of guest. I will NOT do that anymore

Came in, got seated and waited for 10 minutes. We got two cups of water. Waited for another 5 minutes, then we were seen for drinks ... or rather, my wife was. The waitress took her drink order then walked off. My wife called her back, and I was somewhat annoyed by the lack of attention, so I just said "That's OK." We sat for another 10 minutes before my wife started calling for our waitress to come take our order. Why we need to hunt our waitress down to explain rolls or take our order was beyond us. This level of service was before anyone was even seated around us. Ten minutes later, we are seen for food. Asked for several different sushi rolls, to get a taste of the place, and a Kirin - told her to make it a large one (22 oz). I order a beer just because I thought maybe the original oversights were because she was busy. 20 minutes later the food was brought out to us. The rolls I ordered are rated below: Dynamite Maki - So-so, had to drape it with the mayo on the plate to give it some flavor. Huge is not word for how big this roll is. Sesame Encrusted Tuna roll - I don't even know where to start with this one. Meat not seasoned enough to overcome the sesame fried taste, extremely hard on the outside, mushy on the inside. Do not order this one. Mariner's Ichi - Large green roll with some weird combination of flavors that seem to cancel each other out and leaves a ... slippery-gritty aftertaste for a second (no other way to describe that sensation) Twice Smoked Salmon Maki - Very salty meat on top of uninspired rolls. Even though the meat was edible and not over-cooked, it almost imparts a jerky flavor Protein Group - Some good Nigiri and rolls on this along with a good Temaki but the huge mayo-covered, tuna nacho and the super deep-fried, salty rolls (whatever they were because I couldn't tell) could have been best left off. The Kirin I asked for? Forgotten. When asked about taking it off, then it was brought to me after my meal was almost over. The waitress then tells me that she took it off ... that means you remembered to put it on my tab, but decided to give it to the table behind.us that also requested beer. So obviously my order was not important enough to be concerned until I start getting upset. After I said take it off, then the waitress tells me the beer is free - in order to make up for 'lost' time. "Drink the free beer!" I didn't come in for free beer. I came in to have a good meal and pay whatever I ate/drank. Had we gotten decent service in the first place, I would not need free beer to make up for it. Disappointed with the service and not impressed with the sushi. All said, I have had a better time at Kiku, Yuki or even Strip - even though Strip is over-priced. I would think that a place that was closed a year prior for having been overrun by roaches would be going out of their way to bend over backwards for business - or at least do the original job.

Lunch buffet quality has gone worse... Yuck. Will not return. They need to understand, you have to feed people better food and more food and choices for people to come back. There are many other choices out there you have to compete with...just pure dumb to ruin your own reputation.

Honestly besides how nice it is inside. My sushi was not that tasty and the ratio of rice to fish was off. However my couple pieces of sashimi/nigiri were better than the sushi. Chicken teriyaki was inedible.

Took my girlfriend here last sunday 3/1/15 for her birthday. The manager recommended me the fried tilapia and fried oysters. Both were very delicious. He provided the best customer service I had ever experience.
