Royce's Prop Shop Review

I have worked with Royce's Prop Shop as an employee of Viva! Events (a Portland-based event management company). Royce's staff are always great to work with and offer creative solutions to our corporate client's needs. The team there, especially Royce, Elena and Justin area great to partner with and we will continue to use them for our specialty decor needs!

We could not have had the wedding day we did without Royce and his team. We went from having a 175+ person wedding at a winery to under 20 people in my parents yard due to COVID and Royce's team turned all of our wedding dreams into reality! We were originally really worried about working with any external vendors given COVID concerns but when we spoke with Royce's team about our concerns they did everything they could to make the experience COVID-friendly. They were consistently reliable, flexible, creative and the quality of the work was top notch. We would highly recommend hiring Royce and his team for your next event!

You need a good production crew and custom or Custom Fabrication this is the place he's been in business for a long time has great employees and can take care of your event needs

I love working with Royce's Prop Shop! They do an amazing job and their team is always extremely professional on-site. My account manager, Kyrie, is also one of the most organized and creative vendor-side planners I have ever had the pleasure of working with! They are always my first call!

Royce and his crew are da' bomb! Best event crew ever. Royce will bend over backwards to make sure his client is happy. The Prop shop is my go to place for all things events!!!

We met with a young blonde and her assistant, unfortunately we can not recall names. We were attempting to rent tables, chairs, tents, and assorted decorations for a backyard wedding of around 150 people. While the assistant was attentive, her boss made it very clear from the moment we stepped in the room that this meeting was barely worth her time. She was unprepared to answer simple questions regarding tent size and seating ability, but was then exasperated when we did not have the exact dementions of our barn on hand. We asked to see some of the items we would be renting in advance and were told we could not see them in person, and they offered no solution like access to a catalog. So presumably we were supposed to rent items based on verbal description alone? The over-all feel of the meeting was that we were not a big enough costumer to be taken seriously. After the meeting had ended we had already decided we would not be working with them before we'd made it to our car. To top it off they said they would email us with what we had discussed renting, and we never received and email. Very unprofessional all around.

Luckily we drove out of that meeting and straight to Interstate Special Events where we were treated to all kinds of attention to detail and respect. If you're planning a wedding, rent from them, that's all I have to say.

2 stars because my fiance has worked with them in a professional capacity and they were always excellent when it came to corporate events.

I was asked to supply sports memorabilia for two events that Royce's Prop Shop recently was involved with.. They are the most organized group I have had the pleasure to work with. Communication was always there for any little changes that I needed to know about, no hestitation to let me know what was going on. Their team arrived knowing exactly how the projects needed to be laid out, map and instructions in hand. The events were a big hit as I heard over and over again from their clients how great the staging looked and they were glad to have Royce's Prop Shop on hand to take care of their needs.
