I love this place!!! The food is ALWAYS great. Always fresh. Cannot go wrong with their salt pepper wings/shrimp/fish/fries/everything!!

Food is great, but, you need to open or partially open the restaurant for dining. More and more of these restaurants are staying with take home order only format because they make more money this way. Stop fleecing customers with you outrageous prices. Stop using Covid as reason to keep doing this. Also tell your staff to be nicer like it was before, I could understand the stress they were going through during the height of the pandemic but it's over.

BEST Salt 'n Pepper Wings. Crispy, coated & seasoned right. Pricey @ $1 per, but that's how good they are.

Always WAY too busy to answer phones on or near holidays, so order well ahead of time.

Came with friends based on a recommendation, and I am glad we did. Everyone raves about the salt and pepper wings and for good reason; they are fantastic. I had the lunch special. Everything was flavorful and temperature hot. More food than one person could possibly eat! Highly recommend restaurant with very happy, helpful staff.

Is there a way to give 6 Stars? No. Oh well I give it a 5 plus 1 stars!
By far hands down the best Chinese food in all of San Diego! Two things everyone should try here is the Salted Pepper Chicken Wings along with egg drop soup! The restaurant is clean and the staff are nice. If you go in at a busy time expect to for a table to open or you call for pick ups and reservations. All the plates are big! If you get two you could share with 4 people easily!

As stated the Salted Pepper Chicken Wings are some of the best I have had in a restaurant in the United States. I would say the best wings I have had were the lemon grass pepper chicken wings in Thailand!

Always a great experience. Food is amazing with huge portions. I personally always a have left overs lol.

I ve been going to the Royal Mandarin for 15+ years. I got take out today and had no idea the entrees do not include rice anymore. The clerk didn t tell me when I ordered and the only menus are two outside taped to the windows. Since I hadn t been there for a year I didn t notice until my son told me that afterwards in the car that it was stated on top of the menu. I bought Beef Broccoli, Kung Pat Chicken and vegetable Chow Mein for $42.00 with tax. That s some expensive Chinese food for not including rice. Time to find a different Chinese restaurant.

For my most recent purchased chicken wings 12 pieces around 5:30pm on Friday April 23, 2021.
The food smell good but tastes very gross. The chicken wings taste like they reheated an over cook chicken wings in an old oil. Unable to eat it .
Very disappointed.

Literally they do not care about your allergies!!!! We told them there was a seafood allergy and they literally mixed chicken and fish after asking for plain noodles they put shrimp we literally couldn t eat half our food for paying $129 for an order you d think they d be nice about fixing it nope! I totally recommend golden mandarin over this place now will not be returning they are rude inconsiderate and overpriced
