My 94 year old grandmother wasn t doing well in assisted living and needed round the clock care. She actually perked up quite a bit after moving to Royal City Manor.

About a month after she went in, my grandfather had a stroke and was left physically incapacitated, so he was also moved to Royal City Manor. Because he was still cognitively in tact he was miserable having to be dependant for every day care so he decided to pursue medical assistance in dying.

I flew in from Ontario to be with him and my extended family during this difficult time and I can t say enough good things about the staff. They were beyond empathetic and offered hugs and sympathy to all of us. They even allowed us a private lunch in the tea room prior to grandpa s procedure.

The staff truly embraced our family and treated us as their own. It s a relief to know that my grandma has such wonderful people looking after her now that grandpa is gone.

My sincerest gratitude to the caring staff at RCM.

Nothing but grateful praise for the wonderful kind and caring staff. From the moment we were greeted by Fiona the amazing receptionist, we knew our mom was in good hands. Every care aide, nurse, dietary aide, food service worker, admin, laundry lady and maintenance man were respectful, kind and genuinely caring. Our mom lived out her last 14 months here before passing in the early spring of 2020 and we took comfort in knowing she was surrounded by wonderful staff in the hours we weren t there. Our heartfelt thoughts are with the staff and residents during this terrible time of COvid.

Extremely rude on the phone, I simply asked if there is protective surevailence within the premises for the protection of the tenants and instead of an answer I was grilled on who I am and where I'm calling from and give me your name etc,I will not bring any loved ones to reside in a sketchy place like this where secrecy is held in higher regard than my concerns for the wellbeing of my grandparents!!! Aside from this my mother died in this home recently and I have some serious questions about her passing and my call is apart of my investigation and to be treated like this only encourages me to hasten my investigation before they have a chance to obscure my vision to thier potential wrong doing. I warn everyone to proceed with caution with regards to admitting a loved one to Royal City Manor!!!
