Round Hill Hotel and Villas Reviews

Our stay at the Round Hill was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had.

Everything at this hotel is exceptional: the villas, the staff, the hotel grounds, the fitness center, the breakfast buffet as well as the restaurants and bars. Oh and that coffee!!

When we booked our trip we were looking for a relaxing beach vacation and this is exactly what we got. The Round Hill is the kind of resort you don't have or want to leave while you're there.

We enjoyed one of the villas, not knowing ahead of our stay, that it included a private chef (in our case Jennifer who was wonderful) who would prepare and serve a delicious breakfast for you on your private patio.

The hotel grounds are superb. The pool are is wonderful and never too crowded. Make sure to order a Dirty Banana while you're there! We also very much enjoyed the beach (which is only accessible to hotel guests) with an early morning coffee.

About the Blue Mountain coffee: the simple drip coffee which is available in the hotel lobby is better than any other coffee we've ever had anywhere else.

We normally don't like to revisit a hotel for the sake of increasing the amount of different experiences in our lives but in the case of the Round Hill we are very happy to make an exception!

Absolutely lovely!! Very helpful staff. Gorgeous view. Wakeup to breakfast made how you like. Luxury gem. JFK and Jackie stayed in the villa we had and slept on the same bed but not the same mattress, of course!!!

Beautiful Jamaican Hideaway. Round Hill is fantastic if you visit Jamaica and want that villa styled resort, hidden in the beautiful hills of Montego Bay. The view are simply breathtaking, amazing and the sunsets are perfection. The employees are wonderful, filled with excitement and very respectful. The beach was amazing with with Waters nice and clean and perfect for swimming. They have a wide variety of meals to choose from that definitely caters to everyone. This is not your typical hotel this is an hotel getaway. It s definitely worth the trip.

Had the best time here. Beautiful secluded villas with the amenities of a hotel. Only thing that could have been better was quality of food.

You re not in Kansas anymore.... Absolutely stunning. The private villas are well worth the price to live like royalty. Only downfall is leaving the resort to reality.

One of the classiest hotels I've been to stunning view amazing service and entertainment had a really nice vacation would definitely recommend to others I'm pretty sure a few United States presidents stayed here, it is nice for couples and families alike has spa library and bar, and each room is private best weekend of my life!!!

Loved staying here, lots to do, large resort with plenty of activities indoors and inside. The food was delicious and the resort has a fun, relaxed atmosphere.

Round hill is a great place to spend time with your friends and family members, everyone there is friendly and kind, so if you need somewhere to spend your vacation, round hill is the place.

Clean environment, one with nature and it's beauty, good customer service

Round Hill was amazing! The employees were so nice and welcoming, the food was terrific, there was so much to do, everything within the resort was walking distance (I stayed in the Pineapple Rooms), the weather was always perfect, I loved the fact that they take hospitality so seriously, they even have a nurse for the villas! The beach was so nice to be on, I loved the idea of a water trampoline! The only two "cons" of staying here was that the wifi wasn't terrific, which was alright because of the variety of activities in the Montego Bay Area kept you busy; and when you're walking on stairs in the Pineapple rooms, it can be pretty easy to scrape yourself as you're walking down, so be careful of that! I wish I could give half stars because this deserves 1/2 a star more!!

We had my son's wedding here. We made two trips out there to make sure they were prepared and we worked closely with their wedding planner for month. Regardless, the failed to get things right and we were scrambling the day before and the day of the wedding trying to make sure things didn't go worse than they already were. It was an absolutely horrible experience for the mother of the bride and me. We were completely exhausted and frazzled by the time it was over. We only had 50 people, whereas RH told us they have weddings of 250 and more, yet they couldn't get some of the simplest things right. These are just the highlights.
- Ran out of food at rehearsal and cocktail reception
- Used spot lights instead of decorative lights
- Staff took food and liquor from our events
- Didn t have adequate seating for all of our events.
- Messed up room bookings leaving us with some tiny rooms not usually used for guests.
- Overcharged almost every guest for hotel transfers, meals and/or services.
- Asked the bride for more money on the wedding day for things already paid for.

They refunded us a little money (not even 10%), but that doesn't make up for things like running out of food or overcharging guests. The venue is beautiful, but if you do a wedding here, I would build in severe monetary penalties for them if they fail to meet an obligation. Money is the only term they understand. Otherwise, they just deny that there is a problem and defend their staff.

Awesome experience, delicious food and luxury at its finest I would definitely go again!

I imagine this is as close to Heaven on Earth as you can get!

Great beach. Great pool. Spectacular views. Great cuisine. Not crowded.

Very exclusive location about ten kilometers from the center of Montego Bay, but light years away from the rest of the cheerful (and messy ..) confusion of the rest of Jamaica ... here, peace and comfort of a decidedly medium-high level reign supreme, guests (99% North America and Europe ..) can use delll'Hotel or rent one of several villas within a promontory overlooking Ocean (with a reef for snorkelers ..) and the inlet of Montego Bay, with views up to the airport, on the opposite end of the bay ... dedicated service staff and cooks are available in each villa, as well as a golf course, tennis courts, drivers to move around the island, various beach services, in short, everything you want to get away from the work routine in absolute relaxation ... obviously prices above the average ..

Wonderful time celebrating my daughter's wedding at Round Hill on November 7, 2020. Round Hill was more than amazing and went to great lengths to pull off her wedding amidst Hurricane Eta. Rain or shine, a wonderful time was had be all our family and guest. Service was impeccable! Food was fabulous! Thanks Yanique, Seon, Suzette, and Menseita! Thanks to the staff of Villa 17, you are amazing! Special thanks to all the golf cart drivers, always punctual and polite!

Poor value for the money...beautiful property but the hotel is very noisy at night...our room room in the villas had a horrible bed...perhaps original from the 1950 s.

Watch your cash and valuables at this resort - management will not help or assist you at all if you report a crime to them - they will say your lying.

Be careful when you leave your room - look out for whistling / signing / noises from the teams around your room - Signals.

Check pockets and cases in the evening for any signs of rummaging - and searching - they will look though everything unfortunately !

This was the most amazing vacation! I have traveled to many countries but the staff at Round Hill Villas is the most attentive and hospitable! The Villa was breathtaking! The evening entertainment was stunning. The views from Villa 11- priceless!

Beautiful grounds, villas, tiny little beach that seems more like a lake. Ridiculously expensive. Mostly nice folks, but for some reason all the bartenders seemed surly and unfriendly. $8.50 Red Stripe beers at the bars. If you go into Montego Bay, I'd recommend a tetanus shot first. My first taste of Jamaica. Also my last.

Its a six star environment in a 5 star body...no wonder its hollywoods secret get away..pristine grounds and very elegant and down to earth cottage living...

Idk where to start as Round Hill is simply SPLENDOUR personified. The rooms are extremely luxurious, the views are second to none, the property is expansive, the food it wonderful and the service is to die for. The staff is very friendly and goes the extra mile for you to be comfortable. It is not an all inclusive hotel so there is a room tax, room service charge and you pay for your meals. There is a complimentary Tea hour between 4-5pm each day and pool/beach bars that cater to you. The hotel has a vintage vibe and uses actual keys for the rooms so no swipe cards and not TVs in the rooms. The have a TV room for that. If you rent a villa though you get TV and all. They have a nice neat library and outdoor dining as well as a georgian dining Hall. The climax of my stay was the tour and the housekeeping/turndown service. They are extremely polite and informative. They make your bed in the morning and turn it down for you at night, the kitchen and waiting staff are extremely knowledgeable and prepared, I asked about the wine list and I was impressed with the options and presentation. The have a kid club and the staff is great with the kids from what I saw. The sports/fitness center got me all hyped up for the water sports, but I chickened put last minute. I would recommend this hotel 10/10 to anyone I meet. I'm inlove and that's hard to get from me. (I have too many videos and pics but I'm sharinga few)

This is truly a magical place. I only spent a few days here at one of the villas and those were one of the most relaxing days I've ever had. The property is amazing and the views of the caribbean sea and the hills of Jamaica were breathtaking. I would definitely recommend staying in one of their villas, there is a chef available for each villa to cook breakfast and the food is so good. It's great for families who want to unwind and still have some level of privacy. You will not regret staying here!!

Staff and accommodation above and beyond. The gym and spa are excellent. The sunset views from the beach spectacular. Very much a luxury stay. Bring your insect repellent though. It's lush tropical environment includes some very persistent mosquitoes ;-)

Do not try their water sport "Tubing" because the 2 staff did not know how to steer the boat. It was the 7 of us and we were on their "Banana Boat", when we got there one staff member who was on the boat was a man named "Hercules". We went out in the far end of the Ocean and Hercules' other staff member kept making sharp left and right turns sending the Banana Boat almost tipping over. When he made a sharp left turn all three people fell off and where almost left behind because Hercules did not want to stop! Finally we stopped and the three tried to get back on the boat, (even though they had life vests it was hard for them to make it on the boat), so Hercules and his staff member backed the boat up and hit one of the person who fell off sending the person almost under the boat drowning. While that was going on Hercules and his staff member was laughing and smiling while he was sitting on the boat. A normal staff/ life guard would jump in and try to help a person but instead he said " you can float with your life vest you do not need help"! Do not try this water sport Hercules and his staff member needs to be FIRED! Gratefully we safely made it back to shore.
