Is there a negative 10? I would rate it that. Supposed to be a rehab facility to help you get better but that won't happen will it? No you will get worse. They only care about the money not the patient. They will laugh at you when you suggest a physician actually see your family member there. They have zero customer service when you question them regarding your family members care they will just hang up on you. Even though they say call the administrator to address your concerns they don't return your calls timely if at all. Don't put your family here unless you truly don't care about them and want them to die faster. The place is nasty and dirty and the employees are completely incompetent and unskilled. This place should be shut down.

After having an unfortunate accident , was told that I needed additional therapy. I chose to go to Rosewood. It was a very pleasant experience and since then I have had to enter into a skilled nursing facility twice more. Rosewood has been my choice each time. I have received excellent care and the staff has always been compassionate, caring and educational. I would highly recommend Rosewood to anyone .
my handicapped daughter has been at this facilty for a week. They gave her the wrong life threatening meds for three days, then have not given her seizure medications she needs to control her siezures for the next three days.. She has not been bathed since she has been there, six days now.. They only check on the patients every threet o four hours, she busted her lip and had to be taken to renown on a metal bed rail. And we her parents stay with her all the time, and this still happens. What happens to people who do not have familt with them 24/7???
we have contatced the state of NV for neglect and I am contacting all the news papers and news channels in Reno to let them know how ths facilty has almost killed a handicapped child who is mentally 14 to 18 months olds, non verbal and 56 pounds after soending 7 weeks in the hospital,
DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE TO THIS FACILTY, IT HAS A GOOD SMOKE AND SHOW WHEN YOU TOUR, IF YOU WANT YOUR FAMILY TO PASS AWAY, THIS IS THE PLACE TO SEND THEM.... TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CARE
I was recently a patient at Rosewood for 2 weeks from 2/18/19 thru 3/4/19. They was a few things I didn t like about the facility but this is the 2 biggest complaints, shared a toilet with 3 other men, it was constantly very dirty and shared a TV with your roommate and he was deaf so the volume was always VERY LOUD!The food was good but don t forget to tell them NO FISH! Most of the people who work there were good to ok but the 3 best and my favorites were Jennifer (Physical Therapy) Nikki (Occupational Therapy) and Rosie (CNA) These 3 ladies made my stay a Rosewood more bearable!
A staff in the facility was very rude, she look like she s always mad and is very unapproachable. You shouldn t be working in healthcare if you don t like dealing with your patients.
I recently had a hip replacement and did rehab with Rosewood. I found that I had professional on going care. The Physical Therapists I worked with were Pros and especially empathetic to my muscle disease! I am grateful for the help of many Certified Nurses Aides who were tireless in having to help me with many issues daily! My 30 some odd days there were of course difficult but I have nothing negative to say about the staff at Rosewood, including the maintenance staff! Thanks to all at Rosewood!
The Doctor has NOT seen my husband. Likely it will be tomorrow- right before the one who did his hip has to see him, on Monday for Post-Op Appt. See- my husband is not watched- and he is doing stuff himself, which the Doctor needs' to help curb! We have asked that he be released, but Hip surgeon says WAIT- and that he an only "recommend" that the Facility Doctor release him! EVERYone said just try it two to three days! NOW, if it is the usual two weeks, my husband will be worn out from no rest- he wakes' up 60 times an hour from not breathing because of severe sleep apneaI He will be a worse fall risk, from no real sleep, poor pain control; NOT on time, and the pain cannot be controlled IF the pain starts' UP and will not ever be in control when meds are given LATE.. and he will go back t the hospital as well as fall from being dizzy with and weak from dehydration! I told them I was taking him home when he fell the same day he arrived! The CNAs did NOT put my husband onto his sleep apnea machine, needed when napping or asleep It is supposed to be hooked UP to his Oxygen machine, but I had to go to the Nurses station and find a hose to do this. Hhe was without it for three days! It is a severe case they also turned OFF his oxygen machine per HIS REQUEST! (he is confused right now- from NEEDING it per Doctor's ORDERS! He is dehydrated. He has been going to the bathroom without a walking aides, and so they do not know how much or how often he is voiding, and if it is a color indicating dehydration! I have told them when there to do these things. They do not know he is not using oygen ifor the day, nor what else he does- by himself! Lack of good rest, and water will make him weak, unbalanced, and a fall risk ! IF he falls' he could be an invalid the rest of his LIFE- because he had a hip operation June 9th and it will be messed up from a fall! I live 1 1/2 hours a day- I cannot get him to listen to ME- because during the night and when I am not there, he has been neglected. he calls' them battle axes- from the dehydration and lack of oxygen- though I know that they come in to talk loudly, and ONLY come in to bathroom to check the toilet in AM- then leave door open. It takes' an hour for them to respond to a bell. Then they Ask HIM what else he need's. I have told them all that he is confused- and to just look around his room - whether he has water, the walker, the call light, the telephone nearby, the bed locked- he fell the first day because it wasn't- and most important- what is that machine for sleep apnea doing NOT turned on and ON HIS FACE when he is napping and asleep? ! Why isn't the oxygen piece IN his nose 24-7? I asked them- do you ant more trouble when he has a heart attack or stroke? He will have to have another trip to the hospital for an IV of fluids when he is really dehydrated. Things have NOT gotten BETTER!
After having 2 heart attacks then falling & braking many ribs I was flown to Saint Maries Hospital 3 hours south, for a week, then transfired to Rose Wood Rehab, for 2 more weeks. At first I wondered, then I knew I was in good hands when the Nurces & Physical Therapy folks, came in to interview me. It wasent long before I felt cared for & my needs were ment as far as getting back in the swing of life. From the front desk, Nayome, Cindy, Nichole & Pat were above & behond the call of kindness & duity. Will never forget my experance at Rose Wood Rehab. Kenny Brown
My grandmother entered this place about 3 years ago. She was fine until a couple weeks ago when she got covid. They told us that it was food contamination, from food that we made for her 93rd birthday, but we all had the same food and we weren t sick. We ve also encountered nurses that s simply did not wear masks, or social distance. Rosewood is a horrible place to put anyone that you love. If you care about them, I wouldn t recommend this rehabilitation center.
Rosewood Rehab is a beautiful building with five-star quality care. As a consultant for a number of healthcare companies, I believe that Rosewood is one of the best. The administrator, Michael Moore, and his staff are very attentive to their patients' needs.
My mother with dementia entered this facility on 12-4-18 at 8 pm. She was heading for the emergency room 7 hours later at 3 am with a massive leg injury. Have left 2 messages now for Doug with no response. I wouldn t board my dog at this facility!!!!
I just got here I have been here less than 24 hours I was scared when I got here but I am now more comfortable with the idea of staying here from my recovery The staff has been wonderful and kind The facilities are clean and well managed
They are the worst place to have a love one. They don't care about the people. While my dad was there he told me people took his things. Well they did and it was his wedding ring. He passed away and I just want it back. :( they never answer the phones and the care is terrible. Many times I would help the patients cuz the stupid employees wouldn't. They just need to be shut down. I would give them a 0 in everything they do. Terrible terrible place to put your love one.
