It was awful every time I try to make an appointment here I m given the run around and when I had my child I came here I called 2 hours before I showed up and had to wait for these people and the security lead me to the wrong elevator! While I was in labor! And I had to wait upstairs and watch doctors getting off walking down the hall before I could get in I hate this place and will never EVER! Go here again

I was in their surgery recovery center for a week after a small bowel resection. The nursing staff was very attentive and helpful. We had a very pleasant experience in a very stressful time - we really appreciate all of their efforts!

I received an hip revision on Mar 4 2019. My care throughout the entire process was excellent. From my surgeon to the nurses to the PT and OT. The food was really good too. I was really impressed with all steps Rose took to make my stay clean. With bacteria washes prior to surgery to all the special precautions that the nurses made every time they entered my room.

The nurses at Rose babies are amazing! I cannot speak highly enough. From the nurses to the aids to the lactation consultants, everyone treated us so wonderfully. Our experience delivering our son was incredibly special because of Rose. Shoutout to my aid Irina and night nurse Alex - you ladies are incredible and we re forever grateful for you.

I've had two procedures done at Rose which involved general anesthesia. Both times I was so impressed by the kindness in their patient care...
They don't seem to operate like some of the larger healthcare systems in town as they ALWAYS treat you with empathy.
On my last experience I had the smoothest pre-surgical experience with nurse Anette who made placing an IV seamless...And after the procedure, world's sweetest recovery room nurse (Mercedes) placed a heater under my blankets when I was coming out of anesthesia and was shaking/cold. That was THE best service I've ever had, and the main reason I will continue to be a loyal patient of Rose--it's all about the simple gestures :)

I had the best experience I've ever had, from start to finish. I was treated with the utmost compassion and care, even from the front desk. All of the nurses, with the exception of one, could not have been nicer, and the anesthesia and surgical team were outstanding. Compared to other hospitals and surgical centers, my experience at Rose was like night and day

I have been using Rose Medical Center since 2001, when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer. I have always been pleased with the care I receive there. The nurses and doctors are caring and considerate, putting me at ease. When I need to stay overnight, I treat myself to their "Suites North", when it is available. I recommend it highly. It takes the hospital stay to a new level, and I leave feeling great and energized.

I'm sad about this review because at one time this hospital helped get my disability in control even for a few months before Jefferson center for mental health took over my treatment. Rose family medicine was a great place at one time till my last experience of being cornered in a small room with them trying to force me into agreeing with treatment that is not suitable for my condition. the neurological consultants office has a good neurologists but I think because of something Jefferson center did to me they refuse me treatment there now. I use to trust this hospital over all but now they are listening to outside sources and this was a heartbreaking experience for me. I'll give you 3 stars just because it might be from the influence of what I just went through. your emergency room was pretty good with helping me. all that matters is your hospital was there for me for a short period of time. just making you know I know how I was medicated to keep my condition under control. your doctors didn't need too try and force treatment that does not work on me. when you ask for a list of medications they would use you shouldn't be surrounded by 3 doctors trying to force the situation. with my current medication I was able to walk away calmly for future reference.

The Sleep Center staff person was clear , supportive and friendly but 10 days after the study we are still waiting for a report so we can act on the results. I ve been to Rose numerous times including a 5 night stay and always had excellent care but this is most frustrating.

Generally, very good. WONDERFUL staff at all levels. The only problem was that no one called my friend waiting at home for me to tell her I was out of surgery, how it went, and when to pick me up. After three hours of waiting she finally tracked me down herself. I signed numerous releases and information sheets on who to call, etc. This was an avoidable and stupid oversight.

I give it a 1 because the bedside manner was wonderful! But I was seen and "treated" over the weekend here, was administered a medication and told to follow up with my doctor for bloodwork and anything else.
I saw my doctor this morning and was sent to have emergency surgery for this issue, that she was very clear, SHOULD have been done immediately during my visit at rose, instead of just medication, and being sent home!
Needless to say, I am beyond upset!! I think a 1 is generous, and like I said, that's because my nurse was amazing.
I'd originally been amazing by the outstanding staff and "care" they took of me, I was giving s glowing review to my family and friends about my visit, that was before I found out how serious my situation was, and what a gross mistake they made, which could have caused critical damage.

Just delivered our 2nd baby here at Rose Babies (1st child born in TX). Overall experience was 10/10. From top to bottom every dept was excellent. Our needs were always exceeded by the wonderful nursing staff. I m a chef and the food service was top notch. You can really feel the passion and caring all the staff have. So wish our 1st child was delivered here. Thank you so much Rose.

This hospital is amazing; I don t know how many times I was in the ER at 2am. They are wonderful, and nice. The doctors were kind, and making jokes with me. But, one doctor has me never wanting to go back again. The sad thing is, I don t even know this doctors name because I m still jumping through hoops to figure out who s/he is. I was reported to a collections agency, then it was reported to the credit bureau, and I wasn t contacted at all, or even notified of anything that was going on.

Thank you for your wonderful care. Your staff was kind, gentle and caring throughout my 2 night stay. Chef Red prepared meals that were comparable to a 5 star hotel and delivered with a nice warm smile.
Marianne, Courtney, and Aggie were extremely attentive and comforting. Dr. Rodgers and her team continue to deliver expert care at the highest level of perfection. Her bedside manner is unparalleled. I am grateful for the teams communication amongst the different departments. Thank you.

I've had over 15 insurgeries primarily joint replacements due to RA, and have used various hospitals in the area. I was impressed with Rose Medical Center's pre-register process. It makes it very comfortable to know how to prep for day of surgery and to know exactly what to expect the day of. Everyone was wonderful. From the valet, to receptionists, pre-registering office, to pre-op lab. I noticed that they stopped doing what they were doing to assist me, with a smile! It makes you feel human. Every surgery is a risk and patients are a little nervous... Thank you, ladies!

This is the 2nd time since October 2018 that I hav...

This is the 2nd time since October 2018 that I have been on 2nd floor Orthopedic Unit. Both times I have had a wonderful stay. The first time had right shoulder reverse replacement. I had a complication with my gut from the anesthesia and found out I had an Illeus.
As soon as this was diagnosed the Hospital Doctors jumped to care for me the rest of the visit. What was supposed to be a 2-3 day stay was one week but I was treated with dignity the whole time there. Lot's of compassion and they changed up my pain medication plan to
IV meds since I could not keep anything down. The nurses careful and with great understanding put a Naso Gastric tube in to relieve the abdominal pressure. That procedure was not fun but they coached me through it wonderfully so I could feel better without any further surgery. Thanks for your caring and help. During a stressful time for a week. Every one from Nurses to PT and OT and Doctor's and cleaning staff and cafeteria staff we're there to serve and make sure I had a good stay.
Fast forward to 6/17/19 I had the same surgery on my left shoulder. The staff listened to me regarding what happened with the following Surgery. Anesthesia Physician talked about a different plan to put me to sleep and keep my belly happy. It worked. I had no complications. Got to eat starting first night in the hospital. Had one of the same nurse's from my first visit but the nurse I had not worked with during my stay in October was just as competent and sensitive to my needs. They kept my pain under control with the plan I had in place with my Pain MGMT Doctor office.
Pt and It were great. I asked to see Scott PT from my first time in the hospital to thank him along with the 2 ladies that helped me last visit and this visit.

My Surgeon Doctor Hatzidakis is the best. He knows how to take a complicated procedure and give me the best outcome for mobility and less pain. My first shoulder is progressing very well I expect the same from this past surgery.

Cudos also to the operating room staff nurse's and helper's for Dr Hatzidakis.

If I need another hospital stay or a family member needs to be in the hospital this will be my first Choice.

Thanks Hospital for making my stay wonderful and safe.

My experience with Rose Midwifery has been nothing...

My experience with Rose Midwifery has been nothing short of subtly traumatic. I m not sure if these new midwives are used to this size or diverse population, but they have horrible bedside etiquette. Every time I m at a visit I am literally advocating for myself and my baby. From one midwife trying to force me on steriods to another telling me I wouldn t make it to 35 weeks, I have absolutely no confidence in their recommendations. I am now 36 weeks and my baby is growing healthy and according to scale, without steroids. I am grateful to God to have a strong support system, a doula and the ability to advocate for myself, my heart goes out to other women of color who may not be able to do the same.

This was my first experience with Rose Medical Center. I was thoroughly impressed. Everyone from the surgery check-in personnel, the nursing staff, the physicians and surgeons and the overnight nursing staff were amazing. Could not have been more pleased with the outcome of my medical care. The food is also outstanding.

I had an emergency appendectomy yesterday. Went really well. I went to Urgent Care and they told me to go straight to Rose Hospital so I did around 2:00pm. Got me back right away, I didn't even sit in waiting room. Blood work was quick then straight to the CT scan. I was in surgery at 6 and then recovery and up to my room. Everyone was great and now I'm relaxing at home recovering. I was also born at Rose so props for that as well

I am disappointed I was told I would be in a wonderful suite with stocked refrigerator and day room all the goodies. I haven't seen my bill yet but was in a nice room but the tv remote didn't work they brought me a second remote that also didn't work I feel I was totally disappointed and had to try to sleep with the tv on all night because of faulty equipment. I mentioned to the nurse that the compression socks were not working right also one leg was working the other not to well sometimes it would pump up other times not. she seemed unconcerned about it . I was a little concerned and pointed it out more than once. I totally hope I was not charged for the suite I was told about and didn't receive. Was very disappointed in what was promised and what was actually given.

My sister in law had a surgery there and stayed overnight. The staff seemed very attentive and caring towards her recovery. Missed the 5 star mark because she got an infection after they discharged her and she had to go back to the ER and be readmitted a couple days post op. Maybe a bit more thorough check before discharge?

I have been in-&-out of Rose Babies for nearly three-weeks due to pregnancy complications. The main concern is my blood pressure which has turned into Preeclampsia. Most of the staff is awesome & the rooms are big and very nice. They have been accomodating & helpful.

The nurse I had last night, gave me my heprin shot (blood thinner) and it hurt so bad I literally burts into tears. I am NOT a crier and usually don't so much as flinch when getting shots. I have to give myself these shots twice-a-day at home & I do just fine. I don't know what she did, maybe she went through scar tissue, I don't know.

I delivered my baby yesterday & the staff has been exceptional. Once I made my issues/ concerns with the lab staff known, Rose management has taken my concerns seriously and have made a real effort to make it right. The lab tech this evening was polite & professional.

Thank you, Rose Medical, for the exceptional care I have received and the care my preemie is receiving.

Best experience I've had at a medical facility!!!

I had a professional/compassionate/caring staff that took care of me throughout my stay. I wanted to give a shout out to Mercedes, Rachel, Galina, Vicki, and I'm sorry if I forgot anyone else. I came from TN to have this procedure done and it was so worth it!! My husband and i were floored when the nurses, dr. called to check up on me multiple times....I one billion percent recommend them.

Do not go there if you can help it! I have been fighting with them for OVER a year with absolutely no results. I went in for a wellness physical, which was free under my insurance, and they mislabeled my charts. Soon after I got a bill for 500 dollars! It is absolutely ridiculous that I would have to pay something for their screw up! Every time I talk to them they are going to look into it, but every month I still get a bill. If they had any morals they would just fix their mistake.

But reading the other people complaints it looks like they might not have any :/ very concerning for a hospital

My husband had a Left Total Hip Replacement on 10/5 at Rose Medical Center. His surgeon was Dr. Dennis Chang (who recently moved over to Rose as the Ortho Department Head). Honestly it was as close to perfect as it gets. From the pre-surgical orientation at the Wolff Medical Building prior to his admission (Renee is a doll), through surgery and discharge, we have nothing but great things to say about the experience. Everyone who was involved with his care was compassionate and professional. Dr. Chang's PA, Kyle, is sharp and a great guy, PT/OT were super, and the nurses could not have been better. The hospital room was clean, updated, and quiet, and they even offer an iPad and Apple TV. We would not hesitate to recommend this facility, or be a patient there again (preferably we can hold off on that for a while ;).

All I can say is, it was just a really bad experience, didn't expect this from a hospital in United States, bad bad service. And am pretty sure we will be getting a big bill, it was so bad that we just ask the nurse to discharge us so we could get back home, the nurse had a bad attitude, it was just a bad experience, just feel sorry for my husband that went there expecting some kind of relief for his pain and it just got worst

The nursing staff were all terrific. Kate, Bee, and Madison went beyond the call to meet my needs. Bee and McCalla, on the evening shift, were extremely helpful with adjusting my oxygen levels, and helping me get to the bathroom. David had a great sense of humor and really lifted my spirits. The housekeeping staff kept everything very clean. They responded very quickly to clean up an accident. The food was fantastic. When I tried to do PT my blood pressure dropped really low and I could not keep my balance. The Physical Therapist worked with the nurse, who worked with my doctor to find pain medication that would work better for me, eliminating my nausea, and dizziness, and prevented me from falling. I appreciated that they worked with my doctor and had me stay an additional night to make sure I was over the problems with my pain medications. It gave me much more confidence when I went home.
The only disappointment was the TV remote had a loose connection and the sound would often drop really low, and I would lose the station. Also, the blood pressure machine had a battery that needed changed, and the alarm beeped constantly the whole time I was there. The beeping was to show a message indicating that the battery needed to be changed.

Dr. Ryan has not one lick of bedside manner. I was treated disrespectful. And she was very rude. She was biased, judgemental and she ostricized me. I went to Rose because when my PCP called for emergency transport she didnt realize that the Denver paramedics couldnt take me to UC Health. I needed help. I was very ill and I was eventually admitted to the hospital at UC Health..No need to explain my diagnoses, I know my body. She didnt trust me. She thought because of a skin disorder that I might be a meth addict. And yes she asked up front. One star on this scale is too high of a review. Thumbs down for Dr. Ryan and the Rose Medical Cente. Be assured I will be contacting the hospital administration. And Im going to pass that information on to my friends, associates and family.

Rose is amazing, could not have asked for a better experience having our first child. From the surgical team, to nurses to the lactation consultants to nurse aides to room service (great menu and inexpensive for Dad too) to house keeping, can not express my gratitude of appreciation enough. Special thanks to nurse Anne and lactation specialist Carol for all you did for us. We love Rose and will only deliver here.

I was in labor and the front desk receptionist waited 10 minutes to even help me. when i went for a tour of the birth&labor facility i love dit it was nice clean and very elegant. The rooms that i actually got had missing blinds, the fake wood of the cabinets was peeling of, the shower only ha dcold water, and took them 2 hours for someone to come and fix it, GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH THE NURSES THEY WERE GREAT. Most everyone was very helpful and professional.
Unfortunately I did encounter two nurses that kept this from a more positive review. One gave me my pain medication nearly 90 minutes after it was scheduled and another because of a mix up in communication skipped a dose altogether
Obviously, not good after hip replacement surgery.
The hospital needs to replace the mattress on their beds. They were so bad I was practically sleeping on steel. The last night I had to try to sleep in a chair.
On the positive side the food was wonderful!

I gave birth to my son at Rose Medical Center, I had a very unexpected and serious complication. I was in the ICU for 2 days and my son was in the NICU for 2 days. The providers and staff at Rose kept me very well informed and my son and I were very well taken care of. The updated rooms are very nice and felt very homey, the food was decent (for hospital food), I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would 100% recommend considering Rose for your childbirth.

Summary: Great staff, VERY fast service, communica...

Summary: Great staff, VERY fast service, communication needs work (just like every ER), so bring several copies of your info with you when you come.

Full story: Took my husband here for what turned out to be a severe bacterial ear infection. ER staff was kind and helpful and there was almost no wait. The doctors were very professional, explained everything in a way I could understand (I learned a few things I didn't already know about ear infections) and made sure we had all the information we wanted before we left. They even told us what options for getting Hubby's meds would be least costly (which was paying Walgreens and not them for the pills, so they aren't just looking for your cash).

We were seen in the hallway, which is a bit odd, but it was after 11pm (a time when ERs are usually busy) and we were seen right away, so I am not taking any stars off for that. In an out in under an hour is almost unheard of late at night. I was expecting several hours and we were home by 1am (which includes finding an all-night pharmacy and waiting to get his Rx filled).

My only gripe is that it seems like it takes a lot of time to get information into the chart. I told the check in nurse that my husband is allergic to a specific antibiotic, but apparently that info didn't get to the doctor. Nothing bad happened because I make a habit of telling everyone who sees him about the allergy (not just assuming they know) and he got prescribed a safe antibiotic with no trouble.

To be fair, something like that has happened in every ER we've been to (Hubby has health problems that take us to the hospital more often than we'd like). It's more of an "American health care" problem than a "Rose Medical Center" problem.

With this (or any) hospital, it's a good idea to type up all your medical conditions and medications, print off about 5 copies, and keep them in a folder by the door, so if you do have to leave quickly to go to the ER, you can just grab the info on the way out.

I delivered my first baby at Rose recently and couldn t be happier with my experience. If you are considering Rose for your baby s birth choose them now! You won t be disappointed.

My water broke but labor had to be induced so I was there for 27 hours before my baby was born. We had several different nurses who were all wonderful. So compassionate, kind, knowledgeable and all around great at what they do! They were seriously angels. I have so much respect for them as their jobs must not be easy but they totally handle everything with love and class. Such outstanding people!!!

My mother and husband stayed at the hospital with me for 2 nights. There was a little bed/couch for them to sleep on and lots of room. In addition, they could order guest meals for only 8 dollars which was so convenient. Tons of tasty food choices!

I could go on and on about the care we received. From a lactation consultant checking in to helping me with postpartum care the staff truly covered everything to make me feel confident in taking my baby home.

Thank you Rose for providing me such a positive experience during the birth of my first baby. I will always remember how wonderfully we were treated.

My husband was taken to Rose hospital by ambulance...

My husband was taken to Rose hospital by ambulance in November 2011 after suffering a seizure at home. He was admitted and spent a week having a battery of tests. We were told he had cancer in every major organ except his liver. Doctors at Rose hospital said he needed chemo and radiation treatment asap but that they would not treat him any further because he only had Medicare. They said they fulfilled their "legal" requirements and refused further treatment. They recommended he go to Denver Health.
He was scheduled for his first cancer treatment at Denver Health in February of 2012, but sadly he died of cancer at home on January 25, 2012.

Wow wow and wow is all I can say about my experience here. I can t believe how amazing they were here. It was a nice change to be treated like a person and not a nuisance. They genuinely cared about my pain I was having and got me back in less than 3 mins. I literally checked in, sat down, and my name was called and I was taken into a room. Amazing amazing care here and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone who is seeking real medical care. I seen Skyla Bosco and she was absolutely amazing and caring. She took the time to talk me through everything that she was going to do and kept me informed, unlike at other ERs where you re left ignored for hours. Thank you guys so much for the incredible care I received here.
Rose medical center is the boss of all hospitals so here s 5 stars, you guys deserve it
Update- while I love the care they did I m disappointed in the nurses and what they did to my arm. My vein is completely blown out and purple everywhere

I had my three year old son here at Rose, before they remodeled the L&D floor. I am now due April 8th with my second, and I would not choose ANY other hospital to have my baby. The nurses and staff are amazing, the hospital itself is BEAUTIFUL! Even before the remodel, it's even better now! My son did not need to go to the NICU for any reason, but I knew that if he (god forbid) needed to, he would be in the best hands in Denver! I am very confident in my current pregnancy and that he will also not need the NICU either, but they have one of the best in the state. I see Dr. EMILY PROUSE at metropolitan OBGYN (her associates are great too, but I've mostly seen her). I must say, she is an amazing doctor, she is very positive, and I almost feel like she's more my friend, she is very easy to talk too, and her bedside manner is terrific. I highly recommend both Rose Labor and delivery for your birthing process, as well as Dr. Emily Prouse and Dr. Johnny Johnson who delivered my first son, and he is also an absolutley amazing doctor, he also works closely with Rose.

I can not say enough about the emergency room staff that gave me medical treatment on Sunday, August 27,2017. From the moment I entered the emergency room I was greeted with warmth and compassion by the triage nurse! Then I was taken in and before I had even got on the stretcher to be examined The physician and my nurse was there ready to administer care! Throughout the entire process I was treated kindly and respectfully! I give a thumbs up to the staff of Rose Memorial for their excellent care!!!! I was provided with everything I needed to advance my healing process! Thank you Rose Memorial Emergency Room Staff for all that you do to provide emergency medical care by serving with excellence and a smile!!!!
