I've had 3 roofs done in last 10yrs. Two prior to Roofing the Rockies and they were both large scale reputatable company's and ROOFING THE ROCKIES just blew them out of the water! Great guys! Small local company! I will only use them in the future!
This company is very unprofessional in both their business and accounting practices. The original bid included an amount for work that was never completed and then they not only refused to deduct that amount, but charged us an additional amount. We attempted to sit with them across the table to go over the numbers and the representative was unable to understand where the issue was and had to return to the office to review with his accounting representative. After that, we received not an invoice, but an email saying we owed them "x" amount of money, which was more than we calculated. When we responded to the email with our side of the dispute, we received another email saying we owed a different, higher amount. We replied again, and received yet a third email with yet a third amount they said was due, which was higher again. We insisted on an itemized bill and received an invoice with our insurance estimate attached (which, of course, we already had) and showing a hand-written fourth amount due. We took all of this to our insurance agent, who was just as confused as we were. We emailed the company once again, advising them that we had visited with our agent and breaking down, once again, what we felt we owed them. At that point, the company representative contacted our agent who told us that they would be taking this to collections. At this point, we reluctantly paid them to protect our credit rating, though we still feel that we didn't owe them as much as we paid.
We are both business professionals who have spent many years working with both construction and insurance and neither of us have ever dealt with a company who could not / would not provide a detailed breakdown of the work they performed or would demand payment without a final, itemized invoice.
The lack of concern regarding customer satisfaction together with shoddy accounting principals and the refusal to provide the itemized breakdown of the work they performed forces us to give them a negative rating.
Justin and his team are very professional and easy to work with. I had a leak over my kitchen from damage caused by a storm and they were able to get a contractor out within an hour. Their pricing was fair and my roof is as good as new. I'm definitely going to hire them when I decide to get my entire roof replaced.
