Dr. Herzog and her staff were absolutely amazing! The staff were welcoming and professional. Dr. Herzog was/is awesome! She was informative, knowledgeable and empathetic. She was able to diagnose and develop a plan to treat and hopefully put an end to a very painful, ongoing foot issue. I feel confidant and encouraged with the course of action taken.
With a new injury to an old and long standing problem Dr. Herzog was able to identify my problem and with the use of on the spot x-rays showed me the reason I was in pain and what needed to be done to correct my foot problem. A simple to take medication was prescribed to give me almost immediate pain relief. A few days later I returned to have foot castings done for new shoe inserts to replace my old worn out inserts. I'm confident that with the help and support from Dr. Herzog I will continue to enjoy an active outdoor life of RV camping and fun that my wife and I have had for many ears.
I have unfortunately had to use Castle Rock Foot & Ankle Care occasionally for silly injuries that have come up with my feet. While my feet issues were minor, I have always been treated with importance and high quality of care. Dr Carrington, Dr Herzog, Shea, Erin, Summer & team are the nicest people. Everyone one I have referred to this practice has has the same experience.
I filled out new paperwork and then discovered they had full access to my records. The staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Carrington was friendly and explained my foot problem clearly.
I went to see Dr Herzog for Neuropathy. while examination she noticed my bad callous on the bottom of my feet. She asked if I wanted them removed. Of course I did. Painless and now much easier to walk without pain. She also recommended a vitamin I could take for the Neuropathy and a compound cream she could order for the discomfort. I'm so glad I finally went to see her. It was a very rewarding experience.

It was so easy to talk to Dr. Carrington. We discussed what needed to be done in office and then what some other options were. I feel silly for putting off the appointment for months when I could have been walking around without pain.

I have been dealing with ankle pain for almost a year. I've seen my general practitioner, tried stretches, resting, wraps, icing, heat... it was always just in pain and burning. We thought it was something I'd just have to live with, and it was making my life miserable. 1 appointment with Dr. Carrington and I walked out with NO pain. Not reduced pain, no pain. They had in-house x-ray, my "tendinitis" was found to actually be something different, a steroid injection was recommended AND DONE IN THE SAME APPOINTMENT. I could go on. I needed a small heel lift and some exercizes to keep healing my ankle, and again, all that happened in my first appointment. I'm only a week out, so I can't speak to the long-term result of the steroid injection yet. But I went from a 7 out of 10 with every step to a ZERO, and this break has been worth it even if it comes back. THANK YOU!
Both of my feet are problematic. To laymen surgery may be a solution or the only solution. However Dr. Carrington suggested a non-invasive solution that is working alleviating my pain and my fears that surgery was the only answer.
