There s no denying there is magic in the air here. Community is the word that comes to mind when I think of this school. High expectations for all and a passion for being the best possible!

It saddens me to see negative comments about the children singing and dancing.

Please consider some children are blessed with the gift of music, movement and persuasion. Often times it's so strong that this is their only safe place mentally. When this is the case and it comes out, they are labeled as problematic in
public school systems.

Thank you RCA staff and parents for recognizing and embracing all types of learning differences. Thank you staff for being the outkast of educators and administrators that are unable to follow the society standard of education.

RCA taught my child to push himself past his comfort zone unapologetically. Afterall, comfort is the killer of success.

This is the student demographics for the Ron Clark Academy. One Hispanic student out of their entire student body. This is a non profit school that is funded by a diverse group of sponsors and donors. They have received hundreds of application from Hispanic kids during their years in operation and yet they currently only have one Hispanic student. I'll be looking into this. All kids deserves a FAIR chance to be part of this school. I'm blessed that my son has other options but what about the other Hispanic kids who don't. I hope the local media gets involved. We need to get to the bottom of this.

Update: I just got responses from several local news channels and Hispanic organizations so the ball is rolling.

Enjoyed observations, not an ordinary school. Left with a few good ideas, but I felt like it was mostly a tour, an expensive tour. I enjoyed seeing the use of best practices during observations, but I also wanted actual instructional time from the teachers. Don't get me wrong you are able to ask questions in the sessions, but the ones that I really wanted to get more information about for example, engagement, were cut very short because of the transition timing. some of the teachers were only able to give us two or three strategies that they used instead of being able to give us more information about how to initiate these practices at the beginning of the year.

I can not say enough awesome things about this school! My child has been here for only one and half semester and I see a tremendous amount of growth academically. The staff are really great and really seem to care about all of the students. I am so happy to have finally found a school that myself and child both really enjoy coming to. Looking forward to the projective growth from the facility so that more students will have the opportunity to be a part of this school.

Tough reviewing this school... an incredible experience! Yes, a lot of what they do is unorthodox, and yes, the students may have been prepped for visitors, but nonetheless, this is simply one of the coolest, eye-opening experiences to date for me! Ron and his crew take teaching in a different direction, where students are the stakeholders of their education. That's something I have never seen, and do not expect to soon, though it is my new long-term objective in my teaching career!

Enthusiasm, incredibly creative lessons, excitement, and hard work make this school a number one successful school. Every child should have the privilege of getting an education like this! Thank you for letting school staff visit. I took back many ideas to my classroom.
