Our first time there my husband and I just had our last baby. There was a group of Italian woman eating lunch there for an event. As I browsed the freezer section a nice lady approached me and told me my baby was beautiful and congratulations. She insisted that she buy us a meal and handed us $20. I tried to refuse but she stated it is a tradition of hers and her family's. It was the sweetest gesture ever. Honestly they have an entire selection of prepackaged pasta which was easy to fix for dinner which is exactly what we needed with a newborn to care for. Roma Imports Rocks. Awesome sandwiches too.
Always a great place to shop. Great food and the smell as soon as you walk into the door is just amazing. One of my most favorite places to shop.
Best little Italian Deli (and hidden gem) in Tucson. Yeah, its open til 6pm only, so get it to go, grab one of the MANY take-n-bake meals (there s a full menu there), grab import canned items, sodas, olives, cheeses, meats, sauces, and the list goes on and on. My first time here and I m thoroughly impressed.
Forgot to bring a mask. Please take one. Super friendly staff. They ran out of canolis! So sad. But I got a tiramisu instead. So worth it.
So many great imports as well as things made on site. The pasta and fresh bread we tried were great. So excited to try their sauces!
Upon entering one is hit with the smell of an authentic Itallian deli. Wonderful selection of imported food items from Italy as well as a huge array of frozen items prepared on site. There is also a fresh food deli and a menu of items one can order such as sandwiches. Apparently there was a sit down area at the back of the store before the pandemic hit. Didn't much care for the roast beef cabbage slaw sandwich we split as the meat was very dry and no mayo. A ton of meat which was a bit too much for us as it was in large chunks and difficult to chew. Will try something else next time. Still, this is a hidden gem as far as delis go in Tucson.
Normally I love everything from there but I bought a container of frozen marinara. Grossest stuff I ever tasted
This was an awesome little gem I heard about from a friend in Phoenix, so when I was in Tucson visiting I decided to give it a shot. I was delightfully impressed. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. This will now be a regular place to visit when I'm in Tucson again.
Buy local! Love Roma Imports and all of their tasty frozen dinners and products. I usually grab a couple of lasagna and ravioli to make as a quick and easy dinner at home. I love their fresh deli products as well. And I can't pass on their cookies and cannoli! Very reasonably priced for great quality.
As usual, when I walk into Roma it transports me right back to my little town of Lodi, NJ. The food is superb and the service is so perfect. I really miss the open dining area and am hoping it will be open very soon. I have company coming and as usual I will take them on a "shopping " and lunch outing.
