As a bus driver of a third party company I have seen how eager the children are to attend this camp. The bus counselor greets the children and parents. With smiles on their faces they scurry towards the bus and are greeted by myself. First couple of days are hectic due to the approximate pick up times sent to the parents compared to actual times. But it all works out and it is like clockwork. When entering the camp counselors are lined up waiting to welcome the children. The activities planned for the children are amazing. From what I could see (drivers had limited access for safety purposes) there was go karts for big and small persons, tennis, wall climbing, zip line, hockey rink, 3 seperate in the ground pools, arts and crafts, field trips, and plenty more as told to me by my bus counselor. At the end of the day each child is taken to their assigned bus for the ride home. Buses do not leave until all children are accounted for. On the trip home the kids are all chatting about what activities they were involved in. The younger ones sometimes fall asleep after a long day of fun.

It's a great camp and is so much fun, but during the color war somebody dropped a metal screwdriver on my head and the bump still hasn't gone away. The camp said they would pay for the fees but they never did.

Very disappointed! Ive been a bus driver for 14 years and I can honestly say this is the worst company Ive ever worked for! Busdrivers truly have no say in reguards to safety on their buses! No cameras or radios are in buses for drivers or aides protection. Had Id known or had any correct form of training....I wouldve walked out and refused to take the position! See at Rolling Hills DayCamp its a"Kids Rule and Busdrivers drool"type atmosphere! Bus drivers are not allowed to ensure a safe ride at all times without getting bashed or booted out for it! Kids are allowed to unbuckle seatbelts and walk around the bus whenever they want, trash your bus with food, candy, waterbottles, chips, cookies, pretzels, take off their bookbags and toss them where ever they please, kids are also allowed to be belligerent and show no reguard for safety rules and regulations to ensure a safe ride to and from, parents are allowed to board the bus and hold Busdrivers for excessive times so arrival times at other stops are compromised,if a parent becomes angry theyre allowed to board the bus and phycially attack the driver,in which I was last Friday the 13th of July then terminated over it,bus aides or councelors(so they're pathetically called)are 100%inexperienced,and have NO training whatsoever as far as insuring safety on the bus while in transit so me,the busdriver can safely conduct the bus in traffic the way it should be. On Friday the 13th which was my last day at the camp...I was viciously attacked by an angry parent and became inches away from being viciously grabbed and punched in my face while the other parents with her held my aide hostage outside the bus demanding answers! As far as Im concerned I was disregarded by this camp and treated like lowly street trash! Im a busdriver...a proud and damn good one with a record to prove! My abstract and overall performance record is superb, yet Workin for Rolling Hills has made me feel the way I was treated....LIKE TRASH! TWICE I was called in the office for 1.pulling my bus over in transit to regain control of the bus and 2.Excessive lateness arrival times! Not once was I commended for giving a damn about the safety of the kids! It seems only reprimanded because it seems takin the time out to ensure a safe ride to and from camp is a"Thorn in the Ass"at Rolling Hills! Kids rule and bus drivers drool is truly eminent here! Hell....according to my counselor who rode the bus with me daily...kids are allowed to urinate and defficate in the pool and pool activities are still conducted!!! Yea GROSS! SO....with that being said...All my kids boarded the bus that day were at risk of biohazard diseases and skin conditions spread by urine and human solid WASTE! If you choose to work for this joke of an establishment....please know your right to conduct your bus in a safe manner is"OUT THE WINDOW"! EVERYTHING A BUSDRIVER STANDS FOR REGUARDING A SAFE ATMOSPHERE FOR THE LIVES ON YOUR BUS IS IN THE TOILET...LIKE THEIR POOL! LOL IF YOU AS A BUSDRIVER DONT ALLOW KIDS GETTING UP OUT OF THEIR SEATS,CONDUCT FOOD FIGHTS,AND BE OVERALL JUST DISRESPECTFUL AND NASTY....THIS POSITION IS NOT FOR YOU! LIKE I FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY...SADLY! To close choose wisely where you apply to work for summers to come! Do your homework and find out your rights....especially for this POSITION! If you as a driver is all about safe and clean atmosphere for the lives of children and others who ride your bus....THIS TRASHFEST SHITSHOW IS NOT FOR YOU! AS I SPEAK IM CURRENTLY SUING FOR SLANDER,DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER,AND ATTEMPTED AGGRAVATED ASSAULT. Choose your summer position wisely is the harsh lesson I learned for workin for this dump!!!

My 3 kids have gone to this camp ever since we moved out to NJ. They can t wait to go every summer. Last day of camp they are already counting the days when camp starts up again. Love the smiles everyday When they get off the bus and when they tell us what they did that day. The sticker on their shirt which goes over their day helps too. My oldest loves the day trips and my middle child can t wait for next year when day trips start for his age group.
