This place has a really nice outside seating area that was full of people. The beer flight was the best priced in Ashland. No jokes.

The Garlic Fries could have used more Garlic, like way more Garlic. The Turkey Club was good, probably could have used more bacon though.

I got into Ashland late last night and most of the restaurants were closed. My host and I stopped here and it was fantastic! The beer flight is delicious and super affordable. The Brussels sprouts are stellar. The environment is friendly. The offal tacos are stellar. And the portions were geneous enough that we are having a super good leftover breakfast now -- the flatbread pizza is great cold!

Came in on a Sunday afternoon and the place looked packed but we were seated within 20 minutes. Our waiter rocked! He was able to explain what was vegan or what could be made vegan. The beer sampler was good, not the greatest, but still good quality and flavor. The food was great and everything tasted very fresh. Great atmosphere and reasonable price on food sealed the deal for us. 5 stars!

Overall, disappointing and overpriced. The reviews looked decent so a friend and I thought that we would try it out. To make a long story short, I would probably have gotten a better burger and fries from Burger King and my friend said that though masked by an inane amount of vinegar, he salmon was "one step above cat food." The service was subpar, it took 32 minutes for our food to arrive, and the overall atmosphere left much to be desired. Would NOT recommend if you're looking for good food, good service, and an overall great dining experience.

This place is a tourist trap. Worst food. Service is terrible. What Ashland needs is more culturally relevant restaurants and cafes serving local food. Don't bother going here. They need to go out of business or get a new owner who appreciates local food. I MUST give them credit for their obsession with sustainability. But it becomes obvious after dining here they are using sustainability as a marketing gimmick. "Green" means nothing if the food is substandard. This place needs a Gordon Ramsay makeover.

I love the whole history vibe here. Beautiful atmosphere. Family loved it too. Home made bread, get out, the best. Craft beers were nice, my uncle said. Great presentation on food even the burger looked beautiful and tasted great too.

I make a point of stopping for a beer and a bite of food every time I pass through Ashland or come for the plays. There are some real gems on the menu every time we come in and the service is great.

Standing Stone is the definition of sustainability. They have a farm outside Ashland where they raise cows and goats used for their meals. They grow the fruits and vegetables. They brew in house. Eat here and you will be happy to know your dollar is going directly into the workers pocket and not into some corporate hand.

I've gone here hundreds of times, and lately I've been really annoyed with the service. The servers have been rude and have taken quite a long time to get me my food. I'd at least appreciate a smile when being greeted. The hosts have always been kind though, and a good atmosphere. I also really don't like how they've changed the menu to have mostly homemade stuff. It sounds nice, but the ketchup and sodas or really just disgusting.

I ordered a carnita and the golden beet + pear salad. The carnita was extremely dry and basically purple cabbage with a small amount of pork, topped with a few diced onions. It came with a lime that was literally dried up. The salad was nothing special. VERY little dressing on the salad, maybe 4 walnuts and chunks of pear. The prices weren't awful.

I could never live in Ashland as long as this place was here. After about six months I'd look like Jabba the Hutt. Every day they'd just wheel me in and I'd down a couple of their specialty beers, then go directly to the marionberry cobbler with a scoop of vanilla on top. It's like a cute little baby fist of flavor punching your taste buds.

Good place to go after shuttling Ashland trails (since they let you put your bike on their back porch). Food is good, favorite part was the wild mushrooms on my pizza.. The beer was pretty good, too. Our server was super cute. I had a crush on her with that smile, crazy earrings, and that hair! xoxo

Beers ok, food slightly less than ok. My girlfriends sandwich was fine, soggy bread, uneventfully seasoned meat. However I ordered a beef Nacho plate and received a plate($8 making it almost the cheapest real food on the menu) of concrete chips covered in what appears to be two inconsistently chopped full red onions, coated in brown, oxidized guacamole and featuring around a tablespoon of meat. The waitress was friendly enough, although less Han attentive. I'm passing through so a return visit is unlikely either way. I wouldn't suggest it for anything more than a beer though.

When traveling to or from the northwest to California, we always arrange to arrive in Ashland in time for a meal - amazing pizza, decent beer, beautiful wait staff. Always worth the little detour.

This is a very cool historic place in Ashland. The brews were delicious and the food was very good as well. The service was fairly quick and the waitress was friendly. They have a good selection of beers on tap.

We meet with family from Portland and we were looking for a cool Ashland experience and my daughter recommended Standing Stone.
From the time we walked in the door until we left we were treated like we were the only guests there.
Our amazing server ( I apologize that I don't remember her name ) was so gracious and helpful with suggestions. I even tried brussel sprouts, who knew how good those could be.
Our food was delicious, the decor funky and the service friendly and efficient.
I had such a great experience that I encouraged two families to try it the next night.

Easy, friendly, good prices. Food is very local, something like 1 mile from the restaurant! A classic brewery atmosphere as you get to eat amongst some of the brewing equipment. It feels very post-industrial reclaimed warehouse. Cool vibes and pretty decent beer. Easy choice!

The burgers are very, very good. The outdoor patio is lovely, but the slatted roof doesn't quite cut it for providing shade when dining outdoors - we had to keep shifting our seats around to keep the sun out of our eyes (first world problems...). The service was adequate, but somewhat inattentive.

Unfortunately much better places to go in Ashland. Salads were wilted and old. Plus the sandwiches were severed ala carte which was unacceptable for the price. Beer was good. Service was good. Atmosphere was great. The food was too low quality and expensive to return especially when so many other places are excellent. I am 2.5 stars for this place.

My wife and I stopped in here to grab a couple of brews after walking the strip for a couple hours. Nice interior design with large ceilings and open dining area with a about a 10/15 seating area bar top.

The bartenders were courteous and prompt what I would expect in a tourist area. The beer selection is decent, nothing to brag about but It should satisfy the average eer drinker that appreciates craft brews.

Great atmosphere, really good beer, food was lacking though. They have good quality ingredients but I think the people prepping could have done a better job. Maybe it was just the day I came in and they were a little off? Frys were soggy and burger was pretty bland. I still give them 4 stars though I really liked this place.

Servers and staff are always attentive and on top of everything. I was disappointed that they were out of a drink that I wanted to try but that just gives me an excuse to come back and eat more of their delicious food.

Our first time here and we Will be back! My husband and I both ordered the fish and chips, really delicious. Yummy Milk and Honey Beer.
Nice music playing, very friendly staff. We are so happy we went..

The food is decent here but their beer is forgettable. They only have a few on tap at a time, often run out, and never have a good excuse. I've corresponded with the brewer and he didn't offer any solid reasons for their weak offerings. I think this place caters to the theatre crowd and not beer lovers.

Good food and great service. They were completely out of three things we ordered, but they delivered the one item they DID have with a smile and a great attitude!

I would return. The food isn't amazing, but it is worth the stop. The beer is just like the other regional brews; meh.

This place has always been my go to for their home brewed samples and tacos. I mean I love the farm friendly foods, awesome music, and beer sample tray all day. Every day. Every hard day. They make it worth it. Ive gone here for 4 years and ill be back.

One star food at the five star price. Left my whole table saying "that wasn't as good as I thought it would be." They pride themselves on thier beer. Maybe the food is better once your plastered?

You know it's going to be good when they carry a house made hot sauce instead of tobasco. We stopped for lunch with two young kids and loved this place. The service was very friendly. The sweet potato fries were fresh and delicious. The mushroom pasta with garlic was probably the best I've ever had. Will gladly visit again the next time we're in Ashland.

I have been going to standing stone for years and the food quality has declined while the prices have shot up. The last 4 times I ve been the burgers have been almost black from being way over done. The buns are always soggy, the customer service has not been friendly, the food is bland. I do not recommend going here.

The waitress was very nice but the service was in general was nonexistent. Both my diet Cokes were flat (no carbonation). . My fish & chips were just ok but the wife's fish tacos were absolutely terrible. We won't be back.

This place is amazing. The food is always good. Beer is choice and the service friendly. I stop in here every time I am in town. If you want a good microbrew in a quiet mountain setting, this is the place to go in town.

Amazing food, local, organic, non-GMO, and excellent service. Ashland has lost a lot of quality in restaurants, but this place has continued providing high standards and excellence from the day they opened their doors. I STRONGLY urge anyone who has high standards and principles in quality to check this place out, and continue supporting their business.
Our group ordered the Honey Sriracha chicken wings, Steak Nachos, Lamb Burger, and Portobello Mushroom burger with a beef patty added to it. Everything was amazing!

Very cool historic feeling in the building. Pipes and scafolding from the brewing equipment forms a kind of tunnel that connects the bar area with the deck seating out back. The menu is upscale bar food. Great burgers. Lots of great beer on tap, I especially enjoyed the stouts and strong beers.

Looks small from the outside, but huge inside. Stopped in around 5:15 pm on a busy Saturday evening & got seated immediately & ordered our drinks and food shortly afterwards. Split a small Caesar Salad (the full-size one was huge!). Pasta special with salmon was delicious as was the fish & chips. Large portions are reasonably priced and we took half of the pasta home. On our way out at 6:30 pm there was a long line of people waiting to get in, but it is worth the wait!

Great date atmosphere and the service staff made great recommendations, and really knew their menu. The food was great! About 8.5 out of 10 and would have made up the rest with better prep... The menu has options to allow those with tight wallets to eat well. A simple plate of spaghetti that is almost enough to feed two people is only $10. I ate a small feast matching smaller items for only $15 which would only buy a simple burger at other establishments in town. Overall. Great place to eat, friendly staff, options to both splurge and budget, and the balcony is the best place to share dinner with a date.

Food, beer and service were great. Prices were comparable to other local places. I had the Olive and Sausage pizza, and added mushrooms, and was not disappointed. It was a great size. My girlfriend had the Siriacha Pulled Pork Sandwich and she liked it.

Also, the beers were very good. I had a nice German Heff. Plenty of banana and clove notes, just like I like it.

Really good food in a cool space. I built my own burger w/ the beef patty and added blue cheese, sauteed mushrooms, and caramilized onions. It also came with tomato jam, which was really awesome. Those sauteed mushrooms really were the star, though. Everything seemed super fresh and well prepared. Happy hour parmesan garlic fries were good enough but I wasn't a huge fan of the basil aioli.
Superior customer service.

I m reviewing just for beer. The beers I tried were great in that they were unique - as in the Jasmine Lager which yes is brewed with jasmine rice. They didn t match my ideal beer profile but that s just my particular taste. The Oregon Ale was good. I m only giving 4 stars though because they didn t have a Pilsner on tap (or anything close enough to it) and us Pilsner drinkers must take a stand in this world of waaaay to many IPA s and double IPA s and over-hopped silliness ;-)

I just feel in with this place. The burgers are OMG crazy delicious and the beer is beyond amazing . The staff are really cool & friendly as well. I'll never drive through Ashland without stopping here for a fresh brew & meal.

Outstanding as always. This time I did fish and chips, which I seldom order outside of seafood restaurants. It's beer battered (what else?) and delicious. The beers are some of the best on the west coast. The Midnight Wheat is almost a porter and the Tempest IPA is a perfect foil for the fish and chips. They farm much of their own food, and use locally grown two-row barley in the brewery. This feast would cost twice as much and more in San Francisco or Portland.

First and last time coming here. Sweet potato fries and beer are much better elsewhere, the best being Ram Restaurant And Brewery in Medford! The sweet potato fries were not as good as I'm used to, and the oak street amber was downright terrible! Was tasteless!

I highly recommend Standing Stone Brewery.

I highly recommend Standing Stone Brewery.

Some of the mixed reviews that I read do not fit with our experience. We were visiting on vacation from out of state. I would definitely go out of my way to return when we get back to Ashland.

The beers were all excellent. I recommend the sampler tray, and repeat it, not to miss any of the nine finely crafted flavors.

The food was delicious: soft tacos (salmon and steak), and three cheese with mushroom pizza.

The service by Breena was great. Cheerful and prompt with everything.
