This place is amazing. The nursery area is huge and has some very cool plants/flowers. The gift area has some of the best stuff around. Most of what they have is high end, but there are lots of very unique items. The staff is very helpful without being even a little pushey. We spent about two hours shopping around and even the guys had a good time.

For all those that enjoy gardens, this place may hit the spot . Everything from gardens, the sales rooms is truly decorated nicely. It was nice they have classes for those interested in learning more on gardening tips. Can't wait for the new cafe to come up, I think it will be a great added feature to enjoy the beauty of this place.
This family run nursery is really top notch!! The expert staff is super nice and always helpful! Well maintained nursery, creative atmosphere, high-end products, and expert led classes/workshops are just some of the many things that make this place great. Beautiful flowers and plants, high quality products, creative floral designs, top quality giftshop plus outstanding customer service make this place a five star experience. They have a really good selection of plants, trees, and containers. In the gift shop, they have a great selection of kids items/books as well as handmade crafts and fine art. I really love the handmade jewelry and unique gifts. Check out their holiday/seasonal items-so worth it.They even have artisan crafted decorations that are custom made just for Rogers Gardens. Roger's Gardens deserves more than five stars! They are simply the best in the OC.
A nice place to stay, although it is a shop. Everything is beautifully decorated and it is huge. Here you can always find something, unfortunately difficult to get the nice things and plants to Germany.
I love this spot! They offer superb dishes, their menu is nice, The cook in that place is very trained, I love a lot eating all their dishes. The food is consistently of high class, the attitude towards the guests is very good too. I often go to this place and I was never unhappy. I highly recommend it.
As a visitor and professional gardener from New Zealand, my visit to Rogers Gardens was a highlight of my holiday. Every corner offered a different amazing adventure. With the beautifully laid out displays both indoor and outdoor offering so many tempting treats. You dont have to be a garden enthusiast to appreciate the beauty on display.
I have shopped at Rogers Gardens for many years. I love being there and I love the new Farmhouse Restaurant. However, I have noticed that in the last year or year and half, the gift shop has changed regarding the decorations or perhaps the items offered. I thought that it was me, but just recently, I spoke to friends of mine, and they stated the same thing. I do not know if you changed the buying or designer, but I have now been to the gift shop many times and I have walked out without any purchase. This is highly unusual for me.
Wow, just wow! Defintely give yourself time to enjoy the gardens before or after you eat at the Farmhouse. Kathleen, our server, was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious....Ribolita soup, market salad, beef short ribs and the fries....we will be back!!! Ambiance is amazing, with all of the details, such as blankets hanging off of every chair. A treasure and a treat!
Several rooms had unopened boxes waiting to be shelved. One of the associates admitted not all the product on display. Should not advertize as ready, we drove over 60 miles; very disappointed.
The Farm was great. Menu has a nice variety. Very tasty and sophisticated food with uniquely favorful spice enhancements! Wine prices are steep however. Fair beer selection. Cocktails are good but on the small size. Still a fun place to eat. Reservations are advised.
Love their Halloween displays. The trick to getting good parking is to go early, when they open! Oh, and for COVID times, plan to wait in line to be able to get into their special holiday showcases. Just FYI for those who struggle to stand in one place or with very small kids.
Danica in floral helped us above and beyond with the purchase of 3 urns and vases. Got help for us loading them and just the nicest person all around. We got them home and unloaded. Love them, one was a little short then the other that makes the pair, hoping we well be able to work it out. Thank you Robert(Bob) and Betty Getty.
Halloween n Christmas events were fantastic. All plant quality is of high quality. I find the help very knowledgeable yet there are few to help. Maybe this year they will get more employees.
Roger's has been a family favorite weekend hangout on the way to the beach for as far back as I can remember!! Now that us "kids" are all grown up and they've added The Farmhouse restaurant & Happy Hour, sometimes we don't even end up making it to the beach, HA!!
The employees seemed very annoyed. They were unpleasant and the only nice people were our waiter and the bus boy. What a shame for supposedly selling for the happiest time of the year! RETAIL SIDE SUCKED but the Restaurant side was GREAT!!
The Farmhouse Restaurant was excellent, the service was very personal and professional at the same time. The food, the quality of the ingredients, was outstanding. Most often you are greeted only, here we were welcomed and were asked our impression and enjoyment of the restaurant and staff. Our foursome agreed we would definitely return. Try the awesome chicken and wildrice soup!
Excellent nursery. They're almost carry most everything in house plants, outdoor plants, outdoor furniture, onsite cafe for your enjoyment, planting pots, and most of the fruits tree. The staffs are very courteous and professional. Very good location for shopping. The Newport Center shopping center is couple blocks north of Rogers gardens. Note: bring more credit cards.
I love Roger's Gardens. For years this place has been a favorite of mine. I have long cherished items from Roger's. Great plants, flowers, decorations, restaurant, gift items, food, pottery...and so much more. They have holiday events that you cannot miss. Each visit is a treat!

Many years have passed and the visuals, bells and smells at RG engage my senses. Watching the train and hearing its whistle while sampling culinary delights of "The Farmhouse" dining venue are unique. Learning from (I have lots to learn) Eric Cortina and the staff at RG is a delight.
New exhibitions and the decor is enough to attract discriminating designer/legends from Laguna Beach. Each display is thoughtfully planned. Abies procera are " je ne sais quoi" in the expert care. Halloween/Christmas Boutique manifests a smile, many photographs and video memories. Notice the little "EG" on ornaments. Does anyone know what the secret is?
Do visit and embrace this experience with dining, purchases and ambulating (or strolling) at Rogers Gardens. Creations by Eric Cortina and Chef Mead are worth the drive from North County. Reservations required at The Farmhouse. COVID19 measures in place/safe. Outdoor dining is offered for health, sanitization, gloves and masks on hand. Stay healthy.
Beautiful gardens, beautiful Christmas and Halloween display. I spent two hours looking at their amazing displays. Only reason why I'm giving 4 stars is because it is extremely overpriced, not a little, extremely!
Extremely rude and judgmental staff. Left without giving them a single penny. Took my mom here so she could see the Christmas decorations and the staff could not have been snobbier. Shame on them.
Roger's Gardens has been a go-to place for unique plants for years (they have a huge variety). I love shopping in their gift boutique, it's a perfect place to find a gift, especially for someone hard to shop for. The staff are helpful, and the surroundings are beautiful! Definitely worth a visit, I love this place for all seasons!
What a fantastic atmosphere full of pleasant and competent staff. The patronage of folks were also very laid back. Loved the lap blankets for the chairs. The food was incredibly fresh which makes sense as it sits behind a nursery. Although I believe the menu is seasonal, I suspect the chef is a true professional. You can t go wrong dropping by the Farmhouse. And don t forget to sign their visitor book.
Always a fun shopping experience, their people are so helpful and always looking out for you. It was pretty crowded but still felt comfortable with our proximity to others. Love their holiday boutique!
We love Roger's Gardens always, but especially for the Halloween Boo-tique and Holiday Store when they are open!! You definitely have to check them out!
Roger's Gardens is one of the premier flower shops in Newport. Along with it being my favorite flower garden, it offers a variety of inside, outside, and patio plants and flowers. Their gift wrapping options are amazing as well. My personal favorite is picking out a live plant and having them wrap it in a box and a bow. Perfect gift for anyone!
Very cool Nursery. Lots to see and do. Cool shops with creative gifts and stuff for all your gardening needs. Just walking around gives you more ideas for your own garden.
We visited today with the kids, but it's enjoyable for all ages. They absolutely loved looking at all the different plants and they enjoyed walking around the garden filled with pumpkins . The Hocus Pocus and Harry Potter store was the best! It had really fun things to see. Definitely coming back in December when they decorate for the holidays.
What a beautiful place!!!! We lived in California for many years and would make several visits here. Could hardly wait for their Fall and Christmas events. Our family lives in Arizona and would come just to see the Christmas decorations.
All the live plants I have purchased from Rogers have grown and are surviving. I can't say the same thing about plant material from chain and big box stores.
They are more expensive, but a worth while investment.
Very happy ad they deliver locally when you are buying in large.quantity.
Fabulous place all the trending indoor house plants with rare varieties and succulents loved loved loved the topiary dwarf olive trees rosemary and culinary sweet bay leaf trees
