A relative has been living at Rockport for a few years now. She is happy, active and in much better health than when she was living on her own. Staff members are friendly, the surroundings are clean and inviting, and the food is good. They have meals throughout the year when family is invited to attend, holiday parties, outings for residents, etc. I highly recommend.
My sister has been a resident for 20 plus yrs & has been very happy. She is70 + yrs & is mentally challenged & is very happy.
My Mom is becoming the longest staying resident at Rockport! She's been there at least 12 years and still has Rockport staff who were there when she arrived. I am unable to see my Mom regularly, but I know from our daily conversations that she is well cared for and looked after always.
Very happy with the facility. From the moment I walked in to check it out before I took my Mom on a tour I was impressed. So clean, friendly and just feels like a home environment. Lots of outings, events and get together for residents to enjoy. Rooms are larger than other places I looked at with kitchenettes and large bathrooms with loads of safety features. There are pull chains for assistance calls in the bath and living spaces. Mom has been there for several years and the staff is SO NICE. They treat her with respect and keep me updated and involved. They allow me to come and share a meal with my Mom and the food in good not pre-packaged processed items. The nursing staff keeps a close eye on everyone, and they have contacted me when something was not right with Mom and it turned out she needed a pacemaker. It has only been three days since I had seen her, and all was well. By them contacting me right away we avoided what could have been a tragedy. I can not say enough good things about Rockport. If you are looking for a home for yourself, Mom or Dad this is a must see. Stop by for a meal and chat up the residents to see for yourself.
Rockport was a life saver for us. We needed to move Mom quickly. From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. From the front desk staff to every employee we encountered, it was all smiles and nice greetings. They remember you each time you return to visit and even more importantly they remember their resident's names and care needs. The facility is clean and homey and the food is good. Mom says she likes it and has already made a few friends in her first week. We look forward to many years as part of the Rockport family.
Our family just moved my mom and her husband into Rockport and it has been a great transition. The staff is amazing! Kathi is pleasant and patient with all of our questions and visits before we chose Rockport. The move in was seamless thanks to Shelly and Penny they were very friendly and helpful. The food smells amazing coming from the dining area. We chose this place due to the cleanliness, the longevity of the staff, the price and it being a family owned business.
My aunt lives at Rockport and is the happiest she's ever been! She truly loves the caring staff, her table-mates, the friends that she has acquired, as well as her comfortable room. We, as a family, couldn't feel more blessed to know that she is in such capable and kind hands!
My experience with Rockport has been exceptional. The wonderful Kathi Greco and the entire staff at Rockport went above and beyond to ease all of my concerns about moving my mother into an assisted living facility. My mom loves living there, especially with the personal attention that she gets from the nursing staff. If you're looking for a facility that's warm and welcoming, pays attention to detail and answers your questions in a timely manner, Rockport is the place for you.
My 90 year old father is very happy here. He is treated like family. The staff have learned his likes and dislikes. They encourage him without being pushy so he complies willingly - eventually. They are in contact with me when needs arise. They give updates to his care and facility changes.
I am so happy l found Rockport Senior Living that assists him in being independent-just what he wants to be !

Rockport is hands down the best place to work! It is a joy to come to work every day and see our amazing residents. They truly become family. We have a small, dedicated staff and everyone goes above and beyond to make sure our residents get the best care possible, enjoy their home and HAVE FUN! We are owned by a caring, local family. I can't imagine working for a corporation after working for a family-owned business. They do everything in their power to make Rockport the best for the seniors who call it home.
I toured Rockport four times before deciding it was the right fit for my parents. They have settled in quite nicely. I was concerned about them having to attend one meal a day but the food is so good they attend every meal! The staff and some of the residents approached us at our first lunch in the dining room to introduce themselves and welcome us to The Rockport and to let us know they are there for us. That was greatly appreciated. The staff is friendly,courteous and helpful. The one thing the I noticed about the residents almost immediately is they are happy to be at the Rockport! Of all the facilities that we toured one thing stood out at The Rockport that was apparent on the first visit, a very compassionate staff.
Kathi absolutely made the transition for my parents and our family easier than I ever imagined.

Aunt Donna feels safe, happy and well cared for. The staff pays attention to her specific needs in a way that makes her feel capable and confident. We looked at a lot of places before making this big decision, and we have never regretted choosing Rockport.
They caused my grandfather to become severely ill while he was a resident in their care. He eventually developed pneumonia and was seriously dehydrated before medical attention was sought. When we contacted the Director of Nursing with our concerns, she hung up on us. She also hung up on the nurse from the hospital where my grandpa was taken. Do not let your loved ones stay here. They are not equipped to handle more fragile elderly people, especially those with memory care issues.
