The best in the Bay hands down you gotta get there early if you have a large group. Good service and nice vibe.

New experience. I mean the dinner is served in a plastic bag.
While the staff seemed a little aloof, the service was good. The food was delicious. Crawfish were out of season on something. I can recommend the shrimp. I'm glad I added the sausage, potatoes, and corn. I will make every effort to return.

Very delicious food. Tonight was my first time there. Just want people to know that almost all the entrees have the "market price " meaning you don't see it on the menu. So I'd suggest you to ask if you don't want to find a surprise on the bill. Ok I ordered a crab but I think I should have been advised by the person that took the order that it was $45 worth crab and really not worth it cus you will be still hungry for sure if that's all you order. I also tried the crawfish and calamari, very good, well seasoned and reasonable price.

Food is great and the service is great! Expect a wait or go early, but definitely worth the wait .. no reservations first come first serve.

Its was ok but the crab was super small and the gumbo had no crab and it had no taste. Hot N Juicy In Las Vegas is exactly what they were trying to replicate..sorry

Great food. Parking is what it is but it is worth it.

I've been to many local Cajun food joints that offer similar menu items. I typically would order their shrimp and clams in house sauce mild. Although a plus that the sauce isn't super oily, I feel as though the flavor still lacks a bit. Maybe a bit more garlic next time around? Their chili cheese Cajun fries are a huge portion, garlic noodles I feel like I've had better.

Incredibly delectable spot to grab some seafood at. Cozy spot, lots of cool graffiti everywhere, and a friendly staff ready to get you whatever you may need. The pricing for seafood is great here, and the flavors they offer are all classic and cajun. I recommend to get a shimp basket (shrimp and waffle fries fried to perfection) and some king crab legs in their garlic butter. I could not have been happier with my food and service.

The 1 star is for the service- I have been coming here for YEARS & the last two times was horrible service! This time right now was just as bad if not worse! First off we sat down & no drinks were given (both times). I noticed the people after us got seated they received their drinks (both times!). This time I had to ask twice. This hispanic girl threw our water on the table didnt say sorry for the wait & she rushed so fast that the words "thank you" couldn't come out my mouth fast enough . She was rushing picking things up & bring things to the table(s), it seems to me she does not work well under pressure. She was very rude! I'm not sure if it's under new management or what but it use to be all Asians (PI) who were REALLY nice & service was great! The food will always be good but I won't be eating inside , I rather take it togo!

It was my first time I had a hard time finding parking. The food was good I got king grab legs with corn and sausage, I got it to go the wait wasn't long at all.

I thought it was good the seasoning was on point and the crawfish was huge that cab meet was delicious

Definitely call in advance for a reservation or take out just to be on th safe side but th atmosphere and customer service is off th chain. Quick and friendly. I got th gumbo and for th 1st time of having gumbo with no crab im pretty intrigued especially with th orcra. In great spot of town this location is very popular. Th food is jus as good. I highly recommend this restaurant to anybody from or visiting Oakland and i fasholy will be coming back. -YT

Love this place, beats having to drive to San Jose's boiler crab. Crayfish and clams were nice and steamy, and finally got a cocktail mixer that knows what he's doing, half rum half fruit juice!

Pros: Even when busy, food is still steamy and delish!

Cons: Really wish the place was bigger, always crowded on Friday and Sat, or game nights. Great for them, not so great us!

The best seafood in the east bay. My advice is to order ahead and take home to enjoy, it does get crowded and it's a really small place

Went on a Friday night. Its a small place so there was a wait but worth it. Loved the food and the atmosphere. Can't wait to go back.

Summary based on one group, birthday dinner:
-ok food, leans to deep fried (duh) and starchy
-ok service, patient and helpful with a group
-ok prices
-ok parking
-loud, even when not packed

A very tasty food with nice staff. The place itself is little small in size so there is usually a wait during dinner time. Recommended!

Really good seafood, not much else to say. Be ready to get your hands dirty because it's gonna be a messy meal. Also the saketinis are delicious. Maybe you have some macho bs stopping you from ordering it but swallow your damn pride because they're divine.

Sometimes they will put me on hold for 10 minutes and never clip back I would to call again for 30mins before they answer again but other then that the food is delicious

Always good!...we got the 1 pound crab and shrimp combo with mild garlic butter sooo good. Full of flavor. Other places with a similar setup don't compare. I'll continue to come back here.

Drinks with good customer service was good great food

I adore this place! They offer high class food, their menu is varied, The chef in that spot is very experienced, I enjoy very much tasting all their dishes. The food is always tasty, the service towards the customers is efficient. I visit often this place and I was never unhappy. I recommend it to all my friends.

The food is delicious, had 2 wait 3 1/2 hrs 2 b seated. Down fall is i got food poisoning, we went on Wednesday & Thursday woke up 2 vomiting & diarrhea, stomach cramps. So dats y i gave 1 star

I've been to this place over a dozen times but this was the first time I had ordered the garlic noodles. I regret not ordering them before!!! The garlic noodles are AMAZING!! I usually order the shrimp (heads off) and add corn. It can be quite spicy so for seasoning we usually get the rockin combo medium with a side of garlic butter.

The line can be a little long (I've waited up to 45 mins) but if you come at random times there's rarely a line. Even if there is a line just give them your number and you can check on how long it'll take with your phone. We usually go take a walk at lake merit

Delicious greasy food. It is a cool spot if you don't mind crowded busy eclectic atmosphere. If you got a taste for seafood with a little bit of spice but not too spicy I would suggest you stop by here and get something to go eating in the home will probably be a lot more rewarding then the crowded room and wait here

They are always consistent with their flavors. I'm always consistent with ordering the fried oysters and shrimp garlic noodles....always hits the spot, oysters are fried sternly lol sounds funny but perfectly fried, the noodles are fresh and garlicky with a good amount of shrimp and the shrimp still has some pop to it-its fresh and not overcooked. Will go again!

The food is great but it's so damn packed all the time and it's such a small place. Really good shrimp and mussels.

I literally am shaking right now. Not everything is about race but one of the waitresses chased me and my uncle out the store because she thought we didn't pay. Wow, this is 2018. I can't believe we were racially profiled.

Few things to consider.

1.She wasn't our waitress. How would she know if we paid
2. After we told her we paid already, she continued to ask us did we pay.
3. She was screaming causing a big scene.
4. One of her coworkers had to come outside to let her know we paid.
5. Finally, me and my uncle go to this restaurant all the time. We live in the area.

I would like to thank the other servers at the restaurant for their hospitality. I dont want people to boycott, I just want management to know what happened.

The food was great very delicious and off the chain you trippin if you say it's nasty they service is off the charts and very quick

Me and my family always have a great time when we come here. The fried oysters, well done, are awesome...crawfish- the bomb, corn...potatoes all gooo!! Need i go on!! U have to try it. Mmmmm, thats it, im going tonight.

Be ready to spend some money when you go here.. The food is fresh so that's a plus. But pricey. Gumbo pretty good but doesnt have that southern taste. Being from Texas i was ready for them crawdads!. The good. They sserve pretty fast. Wasnt a long wait. The bad.
The crawfish tastes sweet. For some reason. I picked the garlic butter but for some reason the crawfish kept tasting sweet and it just messed up my craving for crawfish. All in all they get a high rating bc thwy actually had crawfish. I would still recommend. But if your from the south. Dont Louisiana style crawfish.
