Initially the venue seemed to be quite busy, for what I don't know. The server never even itroduced herself and asked what was our order. In addition, she didn't seem very knowledgeable about the menu options. The appetizer were hot and fresh ..... the meal went downward from there. The corn and sausages were overcooked, the mussels didn't taste fresh ,and the shrimp wasn't deveined.

This place was not clean inside or out. And customer service was terrible. I walked right out. Not what I expected.

Love the environment, the food, and the people. Matthew gave us excellent service regardless of how busy it was.

Great food, cool environment, the wait is well worth it.

Amazing seafood. Very unique taste/sauce for shrimp, king crab leg, clam, etc. Fried oyster is super delicious. Can be a long wait during dinner hours. The pie shop across the street is awesome too!

So the staff wanted to count an infant so they could add the 18% gratuity to our bill...won't be back...remember customers can make or break a business...this is a want NOT a need!

The food is very good. Service is always consistance. My kids love it. Pricey though.

You might have to wait a little while however the seafood is worth the wait and prices are fair friendly staff

Everything was overcooked and it's not the first time

The food was very disappointing and it's not worth the price. I won't be returning to "Rockin Crawfish", But the waiter was nice that's why I gave 1 star.

Wasn't too pleased with the wait time and it tastes as if they've changed the flavor of the garlic butter sauce.

Pretty good food. The wait was a little excessive and the atmosphere a little lacking. I am not the biggest crawfish fan but if you are it may be worth checking out, the sausage was worth getting for sure. Grab a pitcher of beer and dig in.

Come here on a Tuesday or Wednesday for $1 oysers. They were plump and fresh!!

Haven't tried the other food items, but will definitely be back!

from the second I walked in this place looks like a seafood Lover's Paradise they got everything you need here and pretty friendly service. The only downside is there extremely small parking lot. so very much recommended that you park a couple of blocks away and then walk

Always a line especially on the weekends. Their food there is good though, and also caters to the people who likes their food more spicier. The workers there are nice, considering how busy they always are. I personal dont like Crayfish in general, but have tried a piece from my wife's. I always order a pound of shrimp, and add sausages, with a corn also! Its the BOMB diggity !!!!!

Talk about false advertising, went online to order to go and not only everything I tried to order I got a completely different price over the telephone , they then told me they don t know anything about the menu online or who made it which doesn t make any sense , I also asked how many crawfish comes in a pound they then told me that they don t know and as long as it weighs to a pound it is sold . They said some pieces may come big some may come small but either way it comes out to a pound , how is this place charging so much for such little portions doesn t make sense. I asked if the mangers he would give me the price that was listed online since I was placing such a large order, a family order at that & he still told me no , I was very shocked they were willing to loose a customer and an entire order over $3.00 difference I ll never eat here again just because the customer service isn t that great ! I planned on ordering 3 pounds of crawfish , two sides and a po boy , they lost an whole order not a good look. They need to fix there online menu and stop false advertising!

The food was excellent, service was not good tonight the waitress gave use the wrong take home order and did not check on use for drinks or to see if things are going well.

This rockin crawfish is the best seafood boil place ever!! I have tried several other crab places and nothing could ever beat rockin crawfish. Rockin crawfish s sauce is sooo good it s so flavorful, spicy and delicious. The best sauce I have ever tasted at a place like this. 1000 times better than The boiling crab! I felt like I wasted my money at the boiling crab because their sauce is gross, grainy, and the king crab meat is so dry, and both the crab and crawfish meat tastes as if they cooked it while it was frozen, and then just put sauce on top. The people who actually like The boiling crab have probably never tried Rockin Crawfish because there is literally no comparison.. trust the sauce. Rockin crawfish s sauce is addictive and so tasty!! I m from Oakland but live near San Jose and I come to Oakland specifically for Rockin Crawfish because it s really enjoyable and worth the money

This used to be my absolutely favorite spots to eat seafood in the Bay Area, I used to rave about Rockin Crawfish. Until my last visit. I picked up an order to enjoy while in quarantine, got home set up my table to lay out my spread, sat down to eat... Low and behold, the crawfish was super gummy as if it was old and reheated a few times. I asked them to cook my oysters hard, they were soft and wet, they didn't have ANY crabs that day, and I ordered as soon as it opened. The garlic noodles were dry and flavorless. It appears as if they have so much business now, they are not keeping up with the good quality and consistency of their food. I usually cook all of this stuff better than most restaurants anyway, so from now on I guess I'll just continue doing it myself. It's just nice to be able to have a place you can run and grab a meal from so you don't have to cook it, but spending a hundred dollars on food that's not good just isn't going to make the cut.

I had the seafood gumbo, which only had two shromp, no crab and some sausages. It was basically just broth. The gumbo was so spicy, overly spicy I could not taste the actual flavor of the dish. Not for me!

I love the atmosphere and the vibe but, the food is just OK to me.

Food is great! Have 2lbs crawfish medium heat with the rocking combo flavors. Try the rockin' wings and they are on point! Only gave it 4 stars cause the customer service wasn't the best, but the food made up for it.

It was very good the only thing is the spice...Whewwww I didnt know that even the mildest sauce was spicy as heck. I highly recommend the Gumbo & Trying the sakitini (its a Saki based martini) I had the Strawberry Cranberry)

If you don't want to drive to San Jose and wait hours at Boiling Crab but craving for crawfish, this restaurant offers convenient alternative. Rockin combo is the way to go when asked about seasoning.

We when to Rockin Crawfish for our son's Birthday dinner, the menu had many choices to choose from, shell fish sold by the pound with choices sauces, mild, medium, hot, cook to your taste buds. We have one pound of each, clams, crawfish, shimps with sides of corn, sauages, potatoes all cook together and served in a large plastic bag. tables are cover with white butcher paper and you just eat and pile your shells on the the table. Be ready to get all your fingers and hands cover with the delicious sauce. Allow yourself enough time to enjoy the eatting experience!

The service is great, 2 stars for that. 1 star because the food is just okay, the best thing I had was the garlic noodles. Also had the rockin' rolls and crab. They don't advertise gluten free and are not allowed to say so otherwise. I mean, if it's not on the menu, then just say it isn't gluten free versus giving my aunt the run-around. Despite of all of that, we still tipped him PRETTY WELL. I will try a different location, this one has limited parking and small restaurant. At least an hour wait.

Been to this place 3x times...
each time they have lost a
1st time & 2nd time order it to go...
1st time 1/2 lb of king crab & zucchini was great, 2nd time 1/2 of king crab & shrimp it was ok.
3rd time we decide to eat there, we had a pitcher of beer 2 peices of corn on cob, 1 basket of zucchini, and 1 lb of Dungeness crab for him & 1lb king for me....total was around $120.
About 2hours later we both ended up the horrible green sh^ts, that lasted all night...mind you now, it was the only thing we ate all day so we know it was definitely the from there that caused it,
Won't be back unless we want green sh^ts all night!

Im an sitting in the establishment as I write this review..... the service at this restaurant has dropped.... our food came out at different times the last meal for my kid nephew came out as we were asking for the bill. We asked for the manager to speak to us and get this the manager was too busy to speak to us about our service that we received.... can we just say my family won t be coming back here and side note I was there celebrating my and my sisters birthday

Great seafood for a great price! They have several spice levels and excellent seasoning. It is a divey spot but I love it.

Great food. Go early, even on weekdays. The word is out. 2 hour wait on a Tuesdays. Well worth it. Prices amazing

BEST Cajun food in the Bay Area!! I have been here many times already. I started with Boiling Crab, then Kickin' Crab, then other Cajun food wanna-bes. This literally is the best, with no exaggeration! From the raw oysters, garlic noodles, shrimps, or other seafood, the food and the sauces are never disappointing.

To justify how great this place, here is the story. My cousins and her family visited SFO from out of country couple years ago, and we took them to many different restaurants during their visit, and this is the only one that my cousin remembers and would recommend to others.

Rockin' Crawfish takes care of you whether you want a quick bite with your date or a large party like a group of 15, they welcome all! They also have $1 oysters on Tuesday/Wednesday, but I am not sure if they offer that to-go during COVID-19 time.

However, I couldn't give them 5 stars because there is room for improvement:
- online ordering system didn't work when I tried during COVID-19
- only 1 phone line so if one person gets through nobody else can
- hard to find parking/ not a very convenient location
- no reservation

If you can bypass all that, this is the place to go!

The last time i went there was a big fight between a waiter and a bunch of black people. Food, water, and spit everywhere. They still wanted me to pay after the insident. Not going back. The shrimp basket is devine! The fries are orgasmic.

First visit was a good one. Delicious seafood. Clean bathroom, friendly staff.
