A very welcoming venue, Great to have tables and chairs. I sat with the band Firestate and chatted to them whilst watching the other bands until they played. It wasn't too crowded, Good set up on sound and lighting, All the bands were talented both vocally and musically and I look forward to coming to see more bands here. 10/10 for an awesome night out.

Great night was had by all last night the 5th Oct. We had travelled from Camberley and were not disappointed we shall certainly be back on the 7th Dec to see the live show, excellent value for money....Bernie

Popped in on a Wednesday night to see a band I knew. Not very busy, but that's to be expected at that time. A decent pint of beer for me, prices average for area. Stage set up is pretty good, sound is excellent and plenty of room in front for leaping up and down / moshing. Sadly, we got pestered by a very annoying guy in an UnderArmour cap who seemed to be a regular, he tried to sell us drugs and just wouldn't go away. Told the long-haired barman, who sympathised and seemed to know the guy, but did nothing (he seemed to be the only member of staff in the place, no security in sight). In the end we told said guy to FO ourselves, which he did for a short time but then returned to annoy us yet more. He also bothered other customers. We left and never will I return to this venue. I thought London pubs were better at dealing with this sort of thing.

Great venue. Three great acts. The headliner, Alia Tempora. Had to change venue at short notice and I suggested a few that I thought would be suitable. It turns out they chose Fiddler's Elbow on my recommendation! To cap a very cool night I got a lift home with the opening act, Death Ingloria....

The sound of the live bands is quite good, so well done to the P.A. man - he's on the ball.
The barstaff are likewise pretty quick - they have to be because the bar serving area is tiny. When I went there was no draft beer because the chiller had blown.

Not good

Great little London corner pub famous for raucous live gigs and being one of the homes of battle rap in the UK. Holds about 150 people. Kebab shop of questionable fidelity across the road. Nice quiet street for smoking outside.

Live music venue not far from camden. All the best music venues in london are now closed (12 bar, etc) so its good that this place keeps giving bands somewhere to play. Good pint and quick service, not the biggest place you will visit but worth a visit all the same

Great music, lovely friendly people, had a lovely time on this our first chance visit after being tempted in by the sound of the bass and the crowd inside. Opted for the bottled ales rather than the keg beers on tap though.

This institution just reeks of unpretentious coolness. It's tucked away off the beaten track, but it's well worth a visit if you're tired of places playing the same spotify playlist but do like some life music and don't mind a bit of grime. Check what's on first, though, or you might find yourself wandering back to Chalkfarm very quickly.
