We first met with Jeff at Rock the House, who we met at the Wedding Expo months before our wedding. He was able to help pick and choose which services would be best for our special day. But it didnt stop there. Jeff was there for every question I had during the entire wedding process and always answered quickly and with a smile!

For our wedding, we had Kelly as the DJ. We would recommend her to everyone! Kelly came dressed in cocktail attire and was extremely sweet and professional! She helped us stick to our wedding timeline and made sure everyone was having a blast. Kelly was the best!!

We also used RTH for a videographer AND to livestream our ceremony. They also used uplighting to make our reception room really shine! We are SO glad we utilized these incredible services with exceptional service.

First and foremost I d like to say that hands down Rock The House is the best entertainment company I ve worked with.

We had our micro wedding & reception this past weekend and the absolute best time! Jamie and Julian were honest to god the best DJ/MC duo we could have ever asked for. Because of covid and everything else in between, Matt and I were upset and frustrated that we weren t getting the wedding we dreamed. But it turned out, it was really all we could of ever imagined and so so so much more. Jamie and Julian were so kind to everyone that attended. Their energy was contagious. Although we only had 30 some people the dance floor was always packed.

Matt and I cannot thank Rock the House enough, for everything. You have been so helpful, kind and flexible throughout this crazy time.

Thanks to the covid restrictions currently in place we were not able to have our full guest list attend. But the good news is we get to work with Rock the House again and have a big reception next May. We cannot wait!!

RTH did our wedding this past weekend. They were incredible throughout the entire process. They were professional and accommodating the whole time. The MC and DJ were fantastic and went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy and well served all evening. We have received numerous compliments from guests about RTH. Rock The House is AMAZING! This year we had a different company party for Christmas where we went offsite and asked a DJ to play music. Rock The House made our job so easy. They were professional, but fun, and they asked great questions about our company to get the feel for our age groups and how we work. The dinner music was lovely, and when it came to the after dinner music, they ROCKED! I swear everyone in the company was on the dance floor having a great time. I would definitely recommend them for any event!

Truly an amazing company. Communication was amazing. Our DJ and MC, Nick and Chris were always on top of things and played the right mix of music to keep the guests on the dance floor all night long.

I can't think of another company who has much integrity as RTH. They do what they say they will do and more. They know what they're doing or will figure out who is the BEST at what they haven't yet mastered and will partner with them. They invest in their people, services and equipment. I've trusted them for a decade now, not sure why I am just now getting around to writing a review. Thanks team, you rock.

RTH put our wedding on another level. From the slick LED lights (with any color you want!) to the awesome photo mirror, they offer services you just cant find anywhere else. And of course the DJ and emcee were the highlight of the evening our emcee was on the dance floor with us getting guests pumped up! They put together a set list that adhered to our music tastes perfectly, and our guests did not want to leave the dance floor. We were approached by many saying how great the music was! In addition to the great music, the photo mirror was a super fun attraction. It was a huge hit, everyone loved the high-quality 4x6 photos and the fun props plus it was much easier to use than a photo booth! Just about everyone took multiple photos we had copies of each to laugh at the next day. Overall, we were super impressed by RTH and the quality of their service and staff which is why they came so highly recommended from all our wedding vendors.

We've (Men of Independence) had the good fortune to work with RTH and specifically Jeremy Guffin for the past 4 years. AWESOME company and exceptional service, especially by Jeremy! Have recommended RTH to a number of other organizations as a result.

Rock the House was very supportive of last minute changes. The team found creative fixes for any challenges we discovered with the initial set up design. The end result was perfection! Rock the House is the best in the business. You Rock!!!! Thank you so much for being a part of our big day!

We had a stellar 8th grade graduation ceremony thanks to the expertise of Team RTH! From our first meeting with Amy, we could tell we were in good hands. She was calm, open-minded, and confident in her product, her team, and their ability to provide an excellent product. Libby was equally fabulous, always available to answer questions and flexible as we shifted ideas and timelines more than once! Matt ran a clean, tight, productive ship when it came time for rehearsals, and he was always ready to bring things to the next level.

We were able to showcase our brand and our culture, and they even managed to add multiple last minute requests to make our 8th grade
graduation an absolute success!

Our photo booth allowed people to share their happy moments with the community, and we will cherish these memories. Thank you, Team RTH, for everything you did for us. We can't wait to work with you again! xo

Absolutely amazing service, products and staff. We couldn't have picked a better production company to produce our annual fundraiser. Our event (The MedWish Band Aid Bash) was voted best event of East Cleveland in 2016, and we wanted to make sure we had the best of the best reating the event this year. They produced our 2017 Bash last Saturday, and it was AMAZING. Please don't look any further; just put your event in their hands. They literally ROCK!!!

I have had the HONOR to work with Rock the House for not only DJ / Entertainment, but also Videography. As a wedding photographer in the CLE area, I love working with fellow vendors who take great care in their service. The energy their DJ's bring to any reception is truly truly phenomenal! They exceed my expectation or criteria I would want for my couples, and take great pride in making sure they have one heck of a good time!! Hire them! You and your guests won't regret it!

We received a referral of RTH when interviewing a wedding venue for our daughter. We did not book the venue but booked RTH sight and sound unseen. We were from out of town and took a leap of faith. What a wonderful choice. They have planning tools online that help organize the day completely and easily. Their combo DJ who manages the music and the MC who manages the entire reception made for a wonderful event. So many people danced the night away and shared that it was a fun and great wedding and I attribute that to RTH. They started the evening right away with music that people wanted to dance to and weaved in cheerful and delightful music all evening. As the night wore on the DJ wove in more modern music for the younger crowd. I ve been to weddings where they do modern songs early and the older crowds go home. Not our group. The guests stayed all evening and whooped it up, young and old. RTH deserves all the credit.

There was a gentleman named Kevin who was an MC at my wedding on 10/10/20 in Wickliffe. I could seriously write paragraph after paragraph about the awesome and nice things he did for me and how comfortable he made me feel. With that being said ill just say I was having bad anxiety through the night about things like the intro, cske cutting, first dance and that kind of stuff. Every single time I felt panicked and needed to ask him a question it was like he read my mind and was standing there behind me with an answer. I 100% mean this as far as a good experience went with someone I can't think of another time in my life where someone was so helpful and there for you. So yes I would recommend Rock the house to anyone they were awesome and so was the DJ and photobooth guy but Kevin was on another level so if you can request him do it trust me!!!!

RTH was awarded the lighting bid for Boo at the Zoo 2017. Matt, Amy, Steve, Jacob and the entire RTH team was very engaged from the start.... listened to our event experience needs and executed safely from set-up, event execution to tear-down! The experiences they provided were exactly as they had described. Jacob was ahead of any issues that came up and most of the time in the process of correcting them before we communicated to him directly. Matt and his entire team work hard to ensure expectations are met and they are always so positive to work with. Thank you RTH for a very successful Boo 2017

When the brother of a DJ gets married, (out of state), he has to put a lot of faith and trust in a company who isn t as familiar with as his own. When Jason and Carly announced that their wedding was going to take place in Cleveland, Mike Langsner, a partner at Nj s Xplosive Entertainment, suggested that his brother, Jason called Rock the House. The end result was an incredible wedding enjoyed by all. Compliments were heard all night. The MC, Sean, clearly showed confidence and flexibility in performing his responsibilities as MC/host. The music throughout the night was perfect selections. The photo booth ran smoothly and the attendant was personable and attentive. The ceremony sound was flawless. And equally as important to all of this was the groom s experience working with Jeff Kutz, sales and coordinator, throughout the planning process. Jeff was knowledgeable, always available, attentive, and responsive to all questions and needs. Jason and Carly also booked videography through RTH. Although we haven t seen the end footage yet, we are confident it will be great. The on-site video team were polite. They were non-obtrusive and discrete while ensuring they caught all the important details. All things said as a DJ and the best man, I was able to relax knowing we were in great hands. Thank you RTH for being great at what you do! I highly recommend RTH and especially MC Sean for your upcoming events.

Rock the House has the best staff and really helped elevate our party to a higher level event. We could not have had a successful party without them! Highly recommend the full package of photo booth, DJ & karaoke- you won't be disappointed. They are top notch- from communication regarding event to the day of details.. we will definitely be using them again for our next corporate event!

The prepandemic goldilocks era is over and we are in a new period filled with uncertainties that will have lasting impact for a long time. Planning a wedding/reception is filled with anxiety. Having a vendor that you feel you can trust from the business aspects of the event helps tremendously. Unfortunately I did not have a good feeling of trust with Rock The House.

Our wedding ceremony with reception to follow with an expected guest count of 120 was scheduled for early June 2020. We booked Rock The House for DJ/MC services and also added sound amplification for the ceremony. Both the ceremony and reception were to be at the same venue.

Unfortunately, through no fault of anyone, the June dated was decimated by the pandemic and subsequent restrictions. Regardless our June date was going to be the marriage day, but due to the restrictions we were forced to find alternative arrangements (location), drastically reduce the guest list, and do this in a very short period of time. As a result of the scale down, the ceremony no longer required sound amplification. We were told by Jeff that the fees for the ceremony sound amplification would not be returned but we be allowed to pick an alternative service/product of equal or less value. Given the circumstances I felt this was a poor remedy as we are now picking something we did not want in the first place.

For the reception we still wanted to give it a go, but a date would not be determined until the government mandated restrictions were eased. Rock The House (Jeff) was agreeable of moving the DJ/MC services to an unspecified future date. However, Jeff demanded that we deposit more money (on May 13th) despite the contract stating remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the entertainment date. Nowhere in the contract did it state we would need to be at a 50% deposit/balance ratio as Jeff explained when I questioned him.

While the above might seem petty you need to realize on April 10, 2020 Rock The House Entertainment Group, Inc was approved for a SBA PPP loan in the range of $350,000 to $1,000,000 from the US Federal government Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act. This is tax payer money that has loop holes allowing the borrower to default on repayment.

In contrast our venue, which was also approved for a SBA PPP loan at a much lower dollar amount and was protecting more jobs than Rock The House, told me without asking we will refund all of your monies including deposit if you decide that you cannot proceed with your event .

Even though the DJ/MC services we received from Rock The House was very good and 5 star worthy their business practices rubbed me the wrong way.

We've used Rock the House for years at our art events for a fun photo booth experience. Staff is always super friendly and accommodating, and they are super easy to work with prior to the show in terms of planning. Will definitely use for many events to come!

Booked for my wedding this past weekend. June 9th. And had a blast. They made sure everything went in order. They made sure we stayed on our schedule! So happy we went with them and no one else!

Not Happy.
Rock the House did some things well, but ultimately left us disappointed. We used RTH for our wedding in September 2017. They did ceremony sound/music, cocktail hour music, lighting and reception dinner music/band breaks/ last hour of the evening. The pre-calls with Jeff were very "sales-y" and high pressure, but he does seem to know what he's doing. During the planning process, I let Jeff know that we had a pretty strong idea of the sort of music we wanted at our wedding. He gave me full control of the ceremony and cocktail hour, but only let me give limited direction on the reception music, which I found very frustrating. Like I said, ceremony and cocktail hour went off without a hitch. When we came into the space for dinner and the reception, things took a turn. Their dinner music was incredibly outdated. It was embarrassing. They played Vanessa Carleton and Bittersweet Symphony until a flagged down my wedding planner in an act of desperation and told her to just get them to play Frank Sinatra or something. So bad. Then, when they were DJing the last hour of the party, they really failed to create the unique vibe I was looking for. (I know how to throw a great party) This could have been partly because the pre-call with the DJ I was promised never happened. So i had talked to sales a bunch, but never to the person who was actually working our wedding. Big time fail. I reached out to the owner of RTH with my feedback, and he was receptive and understanding and admitted that their playlists were dated, but ultimately took our thousands of dollars and did nothing to rectify. My husband and I often recount how beautiful our wedding was but how the DJ was a real dark spot on the day. I'd find someone else or make sure to specifically address the items I mentioned.

My event was August 2017 for a welcome back event on campus. RTH arrived on time. The photos were amazing and the students really enjoyed the booth. A day after I was sent a link and I was also able to view all of my photos that were taken. Students had the option to send their photos to social media or text to share. RTH staff was super energetic, helpful and patient! I'm so glad I went with this company for my event! Also, the pictures were full size instead of those tiny strips!!

We hired RTH for our wedding reception and I glad we did. They might have costed a bit more, but the professionalism and capability in execution was well worth it. They had two people at our event, one MC and one DJ. This was definitely a good choice. It feed up one person to focus on getting people on the dance floor and keeping the event moving along while the other person handled the music. I would definitely recommend them for a wedding or any other event.

So.much.fun. we did the band and dj option at an outdoor/indoor venue for a September wedding. (Rivercrest Farms in Dover, Ohio). The price point was scary (and still is a lot to me lol- but such goes paying for a wedding). Jeff reassured me, they are amazing and worth it. I agree. They are great at what they do and their system they have in place works. The band had everyone dancing all night. Our age group varied but the majority were late 20 s and then 30+ for a guest count of about 250. Our wedding was on a hill top; I had been worried about wind and being able to hear the music/us talking but their audio system was excellent. We ended up having to pay for extra speakers since the dining and dancing were in separate rooms which was an added cost but I am glad we did because music flowed so seamlessly throughout the barn. The first half of the dancing was all band and like I said prior, everyone loved them!! They interacted with us and did not stop! The last part of dancing was the DJ and she was equally as fun and engaging. I would 100% use them again and recommend them. They are top notch and pros at what they do. You get what you pay for. Thanks Jeff and RTH for keeping our rowdy crew loud and rowdy all night long.

The DJs were excellent! Used for our wedding reception, our guests were dancing all night! The planning process was really easy, everything was perfect.

After helping SF Day with a quick pivot to a virtual graduation, we found ourselves again in need of virtual support for one of our most beloved traditions - Family Photo Night. While most of our families were able to participate in our socially distanced event, we wanted to include our families who would not be able to come to campus during the pandemic.

RTH provided great customer service and was accommodating to support our event needs. We enjoyed working with Jaime K., who was responsive and attentive. Our questions were answered, they were communicative, and we felt fully supported throughout the entire event. We are so pleased with the outcome of our experience with this Virtual Photo Booth and would recommend this to others.

RTH provided the entertainment for my son's December 2018 Bar Mitzvah. Jeff K. was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. He took time in understanding the vision for our event, offering suggestions yet never pushing beyond my comfort zone for budget. He was honest, concise and communicative throughout the process. Jeff was an authentic and genuine contributor from our initial meeting through a follow-up text post-event. I truly appreciate the RTH's interest in ensuring our event was success in the eyes of the parents as well as my son. Jeff promised his mission was for me to show up on the big day and enjoy myself with no concern. This was delivered! Kelly C. was assigned as our MC for the evening and was in touch the week of the event to introduce herself. Kelly and team were amazing in entertaining the kids, involving and incorporating the adults creating a dynamic energy in the room from minute one to the final song. Numerous guests commented on how amazing and remarkable the RTH team was in executing and energizing our Mitzvah Celebration. We had a lovely celebration planned to honor our son's accomplishments and RTH elevated the party to what Grandpa called "universally acknowledged as world class family event!" THANK YOU TEAM RTH!

We booked Rock the House Live and Rock the House Entertainment for our wedding at the end of September. We highly recommend this company, not only for their professionalism and attention to detail, but also because they brought the party! We knew we wanted a live band and were shopping around locally when Rock the House Live came onto our radar. We didn t find many live demos online, but looked into the company and spoke with Jeff Kutz, who told us all the extras booking the band included: a DJ for band breaks, an MC for making the evening run smoothly, and addition to that we added on dance floor lighting and a photo booth, all through Rock the House. Jeff and the staff made the booking process effortless and we actually went to see the band the day after we booked them. We were blown away by the style, flair, and talent of the group and so excited that we had decided to book them. Fast forward to day of, the band and staff set everything up before we arrived at our venue and everything looked great. The photo booth, a green screen feature with our chosen backgrounds, was a huge hit and we ended with so many amazing photos of our guests. The band killed it! The dance floor was never empty and all of our guests raved about the music. The band played songs from Motown, Disco, and Top 40, and we even got to play some of our favorite songs during the band s break. I want to thank our MC Kevin for all the care he put into our night, he even took photos after our photographer had left and captured our sparkler send off after midnight. The only thing other brides might balk at is the price, but honestly it is so worth it to book this company and their band--they are worth every penny and we cannot recommend them enough!

Rock The House Rocks! Their staff is so hospitable when you go in for meetings and the customer service is A1. Our event was amazing and we had no problems. The DJ was the best we've ever had and the dance floor was packed all afternoon!

RTH provided the DJ (Jeff), the photo booth, and the lighting designers for our wedding. We had more than 200 people at our reception and about half were 40 or older. He was able to get 80% of them in a conga line and dancing only a few minutes after dinner ended. The music was great and there were never fewer than 30 people on the dance floor. The lighting provided wonderful ambiance and really kept the party going. The photo booth need I say more? We chose the green screen and designed our own backgrounds and brought our own props to supplement their selection. There was always a line and people are still talking about how much fun it was. We re very happy we chose RTH and would recommend them for any wedding or other event! On another note, they were super great to work with in the months and weeks leading up to the event. Communicating with them was easy and quick and it was very clear that they valued our business.
