Rock-A-Bye Infant and Child Care Review

My grand daughter went to this awful daycare. She had just had a very delicate surgery on her eye and one of the workers was angry because she wouldn t lay down and take a nap. She was fat and lazy and so she grabbed a broom and poked her in the forehead with it, about an inch from her eye!!! She had a big red mark and we could see exactly where she hit her! The owner did nothing!!!!! That lady still works there and this was 10 years ago!!! Really bad place!!!

At first I wasn't sure about bringing my son to another public daycare because of the past experiences I had. I remember the first time pulling up to the parking lot crying because of how badly I felt about having to put my son in yet another day care. let me just say this particular day care changed my whole experience. The staff is WONDERFUL they truly care about each and every child. Every time I pull up to rock a bye my son gets so excited because he loves going there so much. They have the best prices and the owner has been so understanding about making payment arrangements with me. Every day my son learns something new I am so happy I found this day care and I would defiantly recommend it to EVERYONE! I haven't had one bad experience here. It is in my opinion the best daycare in Utah.

I was getting McDonalds and I couldn't help but hear the children playing. I noticed the teacher or teachers aid start screaming at the children I looked up and the children were so frightened. I called the daycare and voiced my concern. I would never allow my Child to attend a daycare where they are frightened due to the tone and fierce way their caretakers talk to them! And it's right in front of a huge power grid, which can't be healthy!

Because other reviewer s don t even have their kids enrolled I thought I would give my opinion after just touring rock-a-bye. I find the manager very understanding and caring about my needs. The children seemed somewhat happy. The facility seemed pretty organized. And I liked the somewhat small enrollment. It seems like fewer students per teacher compared to other childcare facilities I have used. how can somebody who heard kids screaming from the next door McDonald s parking lot can give an honest review about a child care center?

I have taken my children to this daycare for about 8 years. The owner and Manager and fantastic, they are friendly and understanding. You always see them out in the classrooms. I love the teachers, especially the day shift that's always been there. I feel that they actually care about my kids, it isn't just a job for them. I have switched centers, and let me tell you that "bigger" and "newer" isn't better. I am happy my boys are back at Rock a Bye.

Rockabye has been amazing with our children for over 7 years now. The staff is absolutely amazing and so loving with our 3 children and always so attentive to all the other children as well... our children have made some awesome friendships with other children as well... my husband and I work full time and having rockabye open the hours that they are has helped us make a living to provide for our children and family... the friendships we have made with the staff over the year's is more like family! I don't know what we would do with out this amazing place! I highly recommend this daycare... 100% satisfaction!

My sister cept gitting sick and the teachers are food and they put her in time out it is just the worst daycare ever

My grandson recently attended this daycare and thank GOD he no longer is there. The entire set up is awful. You can't tell if you are dealing with staff or a stranger off the street or someone that just rolled out of bed. They were not attentive when you arrive to check out your child either. I personally witnessed inappropriate verbal tones with the children. The place is like a zoo. I know that not all day cares are perfect but this one is a mess.
Also, when injuries or things take place, there should be a report given to the parent or guardian when you pick up your child. Having to ask what happened to your child that has a big scratch or bruise and told "I don't know" or "he must have fallen into a toy" is not ok.
If you have no other place to turn, make this your last resort. They did have a couple of good people but overall, no thanks.

My family has been using this daycare for generations back, never have had an issue. My daughter loves it, she s been there since she is One and is five now. On days I don t even work she wants to go to daycare and that to me is awesome. I have no guilt or fear when dropping her off here.

The most HORRIBLE experience ever!!! It s unclear as to how they re still in business clearly not by anyone with children.

I arrived early to pick up my infant son and heard him crying as I entered the building. He was sitting in the middle of the room, in a high chair with nothing on the tray, screaming so hard his face was red. An older daycare worker rocked another infant at the end of the room ignoring him.

Picking him up, I was disgusted to find feces thick and dried up his backside to his shirt. I grabbed him and asked her where I could change him. She indicated a room around the corner and set the baby down to follow me, offering to change him. He had a rash so red it was nearly purple. Needless to say this was by FAR the WORST experience we'd EVER had at a daycare.

Take your baby ANYWHERE before you take her or him here. You've been warned!

I must admit, I was very nervous about putting my son into daycare/preschool. I have had bad experiences in the past. Even the first day I remember crying when I left just hoping this place would be different. It didnt take longer then 2 days for me to realize how much my son loved this place. and the teachers truly care about the children there. my son has been at rockabye for a little over a year and it has been nothing less then a great experience.

If you want to microwave your children by two high powered cell phone towers, then this is the place!

My son has been going here sense he was 2 years old, he's 5 now, every time I leave I never have a 2nd thought about whether or not hes safe and happy, I know for a fact he is =) he asks me all the time, can I go to school today? Good enough for me

Staff were extremely friendly and really down to earth they went above and beyond their job quota. My 15 month daughter loved it and learned so many fun and enjoyable things.

Terrible customer service and it was the manager. Walked in to see if I wanted to bring my one year old here and she was completely unprofessional and rude. Walked right out. I personally do not see how any parent would take their child to this daycare even based off the looks of it let alone the service
