WOW! Beautiful, great service, amazing food and super well located. We just absolutely LOVED our stay here!

Built at the start of the 19th Century, Hotel de Russie, from my point of view, is the best hotel of the eternal city. There are a few other high class hotels in Rome but the elegance, refinement and the feeling of paradise it offers, makes it a very special place. No wonder , its frequenter, French poet Jean Cocteau named the hotel paradise on earth back in 1917. The hotel has been home to many artists, writers and actors and actresses. Picasso made it his home for several months during his stay in Rome and in fact the hotel owns a precious lithograph collection of the artist and sometimes opens an exclusive exhibit to his memory. Situated in one the best spots of the city, on the chic Via Babuino towards the Piazza del Popolo end, celebrities staying in the hotel, like George Clooney, attracts crowds waiting on the street for hours to catch a glimpse of them. The courtyard like garden with upper layers, adorned with palm trees and roses, gives the paradise effect and happens to be certainly the best place to sip your drink towards the end of the day especially on good weather and long daylight seasons but also perfect for lunch and dinner. Its rooms are famous for luxury as well as its gym and spa.

Went for a drink. It s a nice place but really overrated. It was being a little renovated so this took some of its charm away. Had a flower shop attached to it. The place itself is very nice but overrated

One of the nicest hotels to stay in Rome. Be weary though to book anytime from now until May. The gardens are being redone and the ludicrously loud works begin before 8am. If you want peace and tranquility ,book a room not from the garden side. It feels like you are on a building site.
Aside from this factor, concierge are top, room service staff are lovely. The staff in the hotel in general are what makes it. Rooms a little dated. Some have drainage smell. Gym small but efficient.
The masseuses and masseurs are highly professional and experienced if you feel like a spa treatment at the end of the day.

The level of service is incredible. Just amazing. They make you feel so welcome you don't want to leave. Room service will literally knock on your door with your order the minute you hang up the phone. They will set your clothes in the closet when you arrive and put them back in your suitcase for you when you leave . Breakfast is very good with lots to choose from. Watires are more than welcoming and the phrase: at your service, is getting its full meaning. Room size is a bit small, but the bathroom is large and acomodating. Room doors are not that isolated so you can hear what's going on in the corridors, but the hotel is quite and the windows to yard are sealed so no noise from out side. All in all a great experience.

It s not hard to fall in love with Hotel de Russie even if you are a young traveler or a seasoned one. It s because the hotel features the perfect balance of modern and traditional designs. Your stay will be definitely worth it regardless of the room you choose.

Went for afternoon drinks in the outside courtyard. Lovely spot with nice garden and good service.

Wow! Can't wait to return! Got this hotel for a excellent rate at . I enjoyed this resort and I'm so thankful I stayed at my favorite hotel much cheaper than what I typically spend.

My favourite drinks spot in Rome. Everytime in town, I stop there. Nice people, nice place. Great service. The food is not great. Just do your cocktails and move on.
