I have to revise my opinion about the Robinson Club - I rated the club as nice but not particularly. However, we (2 adults with 2 boys aged 8 + 10) rarely talked about so many nice experiences after a vacation. My boys are "hot" to be back after Corona. Thanks to the team!

Robinson Club Soma Bay ... nice rooms, the whole area was well maintained. Staff very nice, help where they can. Club boss Ollie has everything under control and is a perfect cast as director: close to the guests, omnipresent, full of positive energy and empathy! That translates to the whole team. Sporting sensational: whether snorkeling, diving, surfing, tennis or fitness ... huge offer, top equipment and great coaches, such as Mirko at the personal training. Super Mottos for dinner buffet, tirelessly the staff changed the tables from the beach to the pool, etc., depending on the motto! Food without words ... awesome. Varied, healthy partly with recipes, more is not possible. Too bad that after the sundowner at the beach bar to Chillout Music back sometime back ... we'll be back, no question!

I love the holiday in the Robinson Club in Soma Bavaria. The atmosphere is family, and you can do what you want. From sports to dancing at night, diving to massages and every day new program. Of the food I do not need to start, always new creations and something for everyone. We have been here again and again for years and will continue to come here.
Great, without words. Even declining services, such as welcome water at the airport, no farewell gift or information we displaced. Unfortunately, friends of ours, who are also Robinson regulars, also have the Gold Card, receive wine in the room. This is now noticed among friends and unfortunately does not contribute to a perfect holiday. Please introduce evening shows again. We were allowed to enjoy one in 8 days.

Well, well after midnight, a disco is held in the outdoor area. All apartment blocks in the first row are affected. Anyone who has to get up here in the morning - because of small children, or want to take part in sports courses, will not be well rested. I'm here for the 5th time - that wasn't there before. Other clubs continue inside after midnight ... Somabay - not like that

As a long-standing and satisfied Robinson guest, I would like to complain about the behavior of some responsible employees. Alex was very rude at the football broadcast of the DFB Cup semi-finals, which about 30-50 people watched. When I asked politely if he could turn the sound on, Alex refused. When I politely asked again, Alex's answer was only that he could switch it off completely. Such behavior is absolutely unacceptable towards us guests! Only when we complained to the club director we were allowed to enjoy the second half with sound!
Both deputy club director Robin and guest relations officer Jane refused to comply with the request of the many guests to turn the sound on.
Poor behavior by employees of a club that advertises with the slogans time for feelings and vacation with friends .
We had the opportunity to be pampered exclusively in the two specialty restaurants in the Robinson Club Soma Bay.
"Specialties" restaurant:
On our reserved evening we were personally brought to our reserved table by the very charming Food & Beverage Supervisor Larissa.
As a welcome there was a very drinkable Egyptian Brut sparkling wine followed by a delicious amuse bouche. A Beausoleil from Egypt (Bannati grape) was recommended to the Amuse Bouche. This previously unknown white wine was light, low in acid and pleasant to drink.
The first course served was beef carpaccio with grated parmesan and roasted pine nuts. The carpaccio was drizzled with a creamy crema di balsamic vinegar. Extremely delicious!
The menu course Tempura shrimp on pea puree was a gamba baked in a crispy tempura batter and served hot and fresh on a pea puree with champagne foam and fruit jus.
Simply unbelievably delicious!
The menu ended with a chocolate tart with mango.
"Arabisque" restaurant
After we had just tried the specialty restaurant (and loved it), other guests recommended the Arabisque restaurant, also located in the club, to us.
The evening we had chosen was actually fully booked. But thanks to the nice hint from the always helpful and approachable Food & Beverage Manager Robin Erbrecht that a couple had canceled, we still got a reservation.
The name of the restaurant "Arabisque" already indicated that it could be an Arabic-influenced evening. The restaurant was then held in a very beautiful oriental design and equipped with many local artifacts. A pleasantly warm light and subtle live music from an Arabic guitar duet created a very nice background atmosphere during the meal.
As guests we were not led to a table with chairs as usual, but instead we took off our shoes (as is customary in Egypt) and made ourselves comfortable on one of the large padded galleries. You could lie down, sit cross-legged or lean against the back cushion at the little table. For us Europeans a new experience, but we found it surprisingly comfortable!
Not only did we find the food extremely delicious, but also the atmosphere was super nice and we were so enthusiastic about it that we decided to celebrate our next birthdays with our friends at Arabisque!
Our conclusion for both restaurants:
The food prepared by the head chef Michel Luik was extremely tasty and fine!
the atmosphere was great!
The service was attentive and, as always, very friendly!
A price of around 24.00 or 29.00 per person seemed cheap to us for these wonderful culinary experiences
We can unreservedly recommend the club's own restaurants Specialties and Arabisque !!
Avoid this hotel! They have no understanding of customer satisfaction.
Beautiful grounds, many sports, sauna and spa area are also recommended, a fantastic beach. The service is excellent, the food varied. There is something for everyone in this club.

Room, weather, beach are still nice, but I have developed differently than the store here.
On March 10, 2018, everything started with the transfer bus simply leaving. Not great in the middle of the night left alone at the airport .... Thanks TUI!
The club is felt everywhere except for the main restaurant. Today after the show, the main bar was totally smoky. How does that work in 2018? Lactose free, gluten free, vegetarian, vegan - all included. Only smoking is like in the 80s. Smokey Bay - right?
In the past there were great theme evenings in the restaurant - today incomprehensible culinary highlights for me.

From the transfer from the airport to the relationship of the rooms everything was very well organized.

The front desk staff (except Abdallah) were rude and impolite, "Essam" even asked me to leave, only because I was in the lobby and wanted to pay for a drink i had on the bar.

Very friendly, beautiful beach! Attention, the club is mainly visited by Germans, If you do not like them gone your way
I was from 20.10 - 27.10. in this beautiful facility. The rooms are a dream, all very modern designed and air conditioned; Wi-Fi is available everywhere and works mostly. The food is - typically Robinson - unsurpassable. A great variety is waiting every day on the Buffettour and spices will not be saved. The club area is very clean and lovingly designed. Also the staff went out of their way (thank you very much for the nice birthday song). Nevertheless, there are some points that gave the holiday a partial bland aftertaste. The hotel was not fully occupied in my time, but the people stood every evening in line in front of the restaurant and stormed (it was actually a race) to the outdoor tables in the restaurant - for me an absolute no-go and holiday killer ... here most urgent need for action; The staff also repeatedly warned that it should not be run, which nevertheless did not improve the situation.
The diving station including the base ladder was personally very unsympathetic to me. To ask an experienced SDITDI solo / deep diver to join a beginner checkup dive is m.E. after completely exaggerated and capitalist nature. The shop for divers invites not to buy at all, because all showcases are completely filthy and unkempt. At this point I would like to thank Mirko of the Orca Dive Club at the Breakers (10 minutes walk, much nicer house reef), which could give me a great diving vacation (excellent base with top equipment, diving goggles with strength for the contact lens wearer and great underwater cameras for the unforgettable shots).
Kniffel players or other card / board players are unfortunately no longer in the evening at their expense, since all areas with tables are much too poorly lit.
Due to the table fight at dinner and my negative experience with the diving school, I would not visit this club again.

We stayed at Soma Bay in July 2020 and what can I say? It was a perfect vacation! It really couldn't get any better.
I have NEVER eaten better on vacation (and I've been to a lot of clubs), I've never seen hosts more attentive and I've never seen sooooooooooo much diversity in the F&B area. God, what have they all tried! It felt like you could eat by the pool or on the beach every evening or TasteJam was served on the promenade or or or.
The room was always lovingly prepared, too, I wasn't sure what you can conjure up from towels
Really the best run club! Olli is a role model for everyone and everyone really participates! And one thing is certain: WE WILL COME AGAIN!

This holiday was indescribable. Ambience, people and even the staff and entertainers are overwhelming. Have enjoyed such a relaxing holiday, to eat it should be said that it is comparable to a five star restaurant. With so much attention this is the most recommendable, with such a short arrival time.

We stayed at Robinson Soma Bay in June and loved it. Hotel looks SUPER and the food is great. Some hotel rooms can be a long way away, but it's a lucky thing. We were fortunately in the house B, which is not so far away and close to the gym. We were training every day and could change our food great. The beach and the water is a dream. The different presentations are also mega. The hotel and the crew can always come up with something new so that the guests are doing very well. I have to say that you have definitely made it. We would like to come again. The boss (Oli) has the whole crew under control and everyone works as a unit. You rarely see that. Hats off.
So ... soma bay is an incredibly special place. Simply the finest. Food great selection and top quality staff extremely helpful and very friendly accommodating.
A great club that offers everything your heart desires. From the first minute you feel welcome. The staff are incredibly friendly and read guests' wishes from their lips.
The rooms are tastefully decorated and the size is absolutely sufficient.
The complex is very well maintained and an oasis in the middle of the barren desert landscape.
Sports enthusiasts will get their money's worth here. In addition, there is a great water sports station that has everything to offer a surfer and sailor's heart desires. Torsten Sorke and his team are helpful, friendly and spread that holiday feeling. We were able to improve our surfing and sailing skills significantly thanks to professional lessons. Divers don't miss out either and can look forward to special diving experiences in the crystal clear water. We saw dolphins, pilot whales and turtles snorkeling.
The culinary well-being is also taken care of. Chef Michael Luik pampers his guests with extraordinary creations. We were allowed to take part in a kitchen tour and were impressed.
The nightlife is not neglected either. A varied party - Arabic night with outdoor dining, full moon party, beach party, white night are just some of the highlights.
For us an all-round successful holiday experience.
Great hotel. Not cheap, but you get really much. Great for families, baby equipment including buggy available for free. Food high quality, and delicious. Varied entertainment program and sports facilities. The best dive center in Soma Bay. The best are the very friendly people, guests and staff.
Absolute top club! Excellent facility, top service. You really can't complain! The evenings are typically very varied for Robinson, the music for the sundowner is really good and the range of sports is also good. The diving school is very professional and you feel very well looked after.
Shortcoming: the plant is committed to environmental protection but refuses to switch from disposable plastic bottles to reusable solutions. This was noticed negatively by many guests and they wanted a solution.

The only hotel in Egypt where you can eat everything without any problems (yes, also salad!). Great food! More European than Egyptian, of course. Great atmosphere and great wellness area. The rooms are ok, but not deluxe.
Windsurfing is great! I've been there at all seasons and there is always wind (in the morning).
There is really nothing to complain about that is worth talking about. It's a top club with top management Olli. The kitchen is a dream. The location is just fantastic. Entertainment & service & staff really great. You feel like you are coming home. That also has a lot to do with the long-term employees. That is what the guests want. Recognition.
If you want to party, go to deep red week, good idea so this is a bit separated ... sundowner on the beach with live music and live radio super unique. The Wellfit team gives everything that goes, big compliments, the shows too, a lot of work, great performance !!
If there is one thing that is really annoying it is leaving Hurgada Airport. If something doesn't improve soon, vacationers stay away. We have already seen this a few times. We were also outraged about the process ... 100s of people lined up for the controls for ages. Although 2.5 hours before at the airport we had to run to the plane in full sprint. This is no longer up to date and destroys many of their great Egyptian holiday impressions. The first tumult could now be seen in November! Too bad.
Words can never describe this unique experience. it was like a dream that one wished will never end. Something out of this world... Stunning people, always cheerful and smiling, delicious nonstop food and beverages, great companions, breathtaking sports... the list is endless. All what I can say: how soon can we go back to Robinson Club Soma Bay?
