I love this place. When I was first going to visit, I had assumed that because it was antiques, it would be a shop full of dusty bric-a-brac that I would spend 5 minutes in browsing and then leave. As it turns out, I spent a few hours there, and I wanted to go back as soon as I could. Not only does their treenware collection contain some of the most beautiful objects I have had the pleasure to see, but the smell of the place and the attention to detail really, really surprised me. I didn't know I loved "naive" and "folk art", and maybe I wouldn't if I hadn't visited such a lovely place to start learning. I now own a few pieces of my own from RYA and look forward to receiving their catalogue (3 times a year!)

I love this shop; a great and unique collection for Chelsea and London. Robert displays his collection with such care and attention that it's a joy to visit. Really looking forward to seeing what new pieces he brings to Masterpiece.

Bought a lovely rocking horse from here in 1984, when it filled the entire window in the shop... Dad spotted it, but wouldn't tell me where it was, so in those pre net days, I had to try my luck with ''Bush telegraph''.
A lady in Notting Hill told me about ''A big horse in Battersea Bridge Rd''...Bingo!
Robert kindly let me pay in instalments. Glad to see his shop having gone from strength to strength. We called the horse ''Battersea'' and he still lives with us!
