Stayed for a night along with a few coworkers. All of our rooms smelt like cigarettes. The heat only worked for the first few hours I was there. There was no breakfast available or coffee/water provided in the room. Other than the smell the room seemed pretty clean. The bedding was a little lacking and the walls were thin. The lobby is the nicest area of the building.
Good location, within walking distance of Prudential Center Arena. Staff were very friendly.
Going into the elevator, there was a distinct smell of Marijuana. And the room had a scent that was not clean.
Further had trouble getting the air conditioning on. And the vicinity of the area made it loud at all times throughout the stay.
Worst hotel experience ever. I wish I could give 0 Stars.
- First, I was paid for a non-smoking room and to my greatest shock, was assigned to the opposite. I haven't stay on a floor, not to talk of a room, that smelt so much of cigarettes.
- Second, the room was freezing cold and when I asked why my heat wasn't working they simply said "it's because of the season. We turned off all the heat." Unimaginable! When I then asked to be given a blanket, they said okay. At this moment I right this review, I've been (and I'm still) waiting for almost 3 hours on the blanket.
- Lastly (and I hope I won't have any more bad experience during my short stay), the parking system they use is horrible.
To save yourself from this terrible experience, I advise you look into better hotels. A few of them are close to this location.

The worst hotel, I have been to in a while. I went on Nov. 23rd 2020. The room they give me, was not clean. The towel was used and dirty with hair still on it. The best PILLOW WAS DIRTY. The room smelled weird and I'm sure they didn't bother disinfecting it. None of the workers was wearing a mask! The front desk girl, the security guards-none of them! The irony was that the sign was plastered on the entrance wall. The room just felt uncomfortable. The security guard was very rude. Sat at the front desk with no mask as people came in and out-talking to the receptionist. The receptionist had a low key attitude. They didn't offer water, no complimentary nothing, no microwave, nothing I couldn't have receive in a 1 star motel. The place smells like weed when I stepped in. I ask for disinfectant spray and the receptionist said, oh no we don't have that, the housekeepers do. So why didn't they use it.
I already paid and apparently, I can't get a refund. I wanted to switch to a different hotel, but I spend a lot of money already and it was late.
The shuttle bus takes more than 15 minutes, but its free and convenient to the airport.
Its great but they need to have some cups and extra towels in the rooms atleast when its double beds

I stayed in this hotel for a weekend recently, and I feel like I shouldn't have done it.
Friday night, we waited in front of the elevator for a long time, due to the fact only one elevator was available on a 15 floors hotel, with a capacity of four people at the time on the elevator, because of COVID. The smell in the elevator was a mixture of Tabasco and marijuana.
The room smell was similar to the one in the elevator. To regulate the air in the room, I tried to work with the thermostat, to no avail, the thermostat was not working. When I expressed my problem to one of the employees at the front desk, he told me that "company policy is to have the heating and cooling off at this time of the year.
Towels, shampoo, conditioner, etc. for only one person, when the reservation was made for a couple.
No toilet paper in the lobby's bathroom.
No microwave in the room.
It is interesting to see that, when you make the reservation the advertise the breakfast but when you ask for it at your arrival, they use COVID as an excuse not to provide what they offer online. No hot chocolate, coffee, sugar, plasticware, etc.
Overall, poor customer service.
Terrible accommodations!!! You have to pay for parking. I've never stayed at a hotel that you have to pay to park on the premises when you staying there. I payed ahead of time for the room it was charged on my card in full, I'm familiar with leaving a card on file for incidentals, they charged the full amount to another card. The room was terrible no ac, I called down to the lobby an explained my AC wasn't working, she replied they didn't turn it on for the whole building and all the rooms. They don't have AC during the winter. I've never stayed in a hotel or motel even when you could not control the climate of your room.. I will NEVER stay at this location again.
Best western plus Robert Treat Hotel New Jersey is a wonderful place to lodge
They have a functional airport transfer service to and from for free. Courteous protocol team and reception.
Their rooms are neat and affordable.
The hotel staff are professional and always willing to help.
Staying at the hotel was peaceful and relaxing.
Great value for money spent.
My rating is 3.5 stars. To reach 4 stars and beyond:
1) Place microwaves into each room.
2) Open the lower parking lot to hotel guests, as the existing lot is far too crowded and invites fender-benders.
3) Improve consistency of the Airport shuttle to match the frequency of competing hotels.
