First visit ever today. And I LOVE it!! They're doing alot to keep everyone from coughing to death (pre-workout questionnaire, temp at the door, closed locker rooms, etc) and everyone is super friendly.
I'm there for the pool because I've become a hippo, so it's now my natural habitat. It's well maintained and if there's no lifeguard, it's off limits. Lane reservations are easy to make (there's an app, of course) and there's a unisex bathroom right off the pool floor.
I'm happy to have this place on my journey to returning to land mammal status!

This YMCA location has a very serious problem with thefts. Numerous cars in the parking lot have been broken into and numerous thefts have occurred inside the facility. Members have reported incidents where they've had articles of clothing (coats, jackets, scarves, hats, etc.) stolen off of the coat racks right in front of the treadmills and elliptical machines during business hours. Additionally, anyone can take items from the lost and found section without having to prove they own them. I would be very careful with your belongings and where you park your car if you use this location.

I can't decide which is better: the water fountain downstairs or the one upstairs! The staff are great and the facility is well maintenanced.

The YMCA remains an excellent option for people and families seeking a wide variety of health and exercise options. My experiences with the YMCA date back to the 60's (yes 1900's) when I was a kid (Summer Camp, Grey Y, etc.) and before the emergence of the now popular fitness centers. I returned to the YMCA as an alternative swimming opportunity for my own kids, who were busy with other sports and not able to commit to the more exclusive year round clubs. The Fowler Y proved to be a fantastic option. My kids get year round training from accomplished swimmers and great coaches and in association with U.S. Swimming, provides an avenue that allowed my children to not only compete locally but to qualify for state and regional championships while at the same time participating in other sports. While they train, I get to venture to other parts of the facility for my own exercise options and when needed hand off my younger ones to child care. The coaching speaks for itself in the success of the swimmers and the program at the Fowler Y, which again has won the YMCA Championships, despite COVID-19 obstacles.

All the staff at this YMCA are very pleasant and do a great job. All the areas of the facility I ve used (wellness area and pool, mainly) are always clean. Haven t tried any of the group fitness classes yet, but it seems like they have a good variety.

Pool, steam, sauna, bikes, and classes all day everyday.... no other facility comes close. The instructors and members are like family, and you can t beat the price.

Good workout area but pool is 3 ft deep can't dive and I'm scared to do a flip turn

They are very welcoming and supportive. They are the family my girls and I never had and I m so grateful for them. The activities are affordable and gives my girls a chance to try stuff I never would be able to afford elsewhere.

Been going there for 7/8 years at least 3Xs a week and it has been great. Other family members (my daughter and son in-law) have also gone there and watched their kids go through the different stages from infant daycare to soccer. The people are nice and we would not feel very comfortable at ANY of the 5 other gyms within 2 miles of our house. One of the best things is there is no contract and you can use other Ys when you travel. We feel much more healthy as a result, the best investment we have made in ourselves.

Facility is wonderful. There is always something to do to take care of your fitness whether you like the gym, want a group class, pool, or court. Also, I was always taken care of whenever I had a question and staff are visibly present in the front and in the gym.

The Robert Fowler YMCA is my second home! I am comfortable every time I walk through the doors. I enjoy spin and yoga classes and weight training. Instructors are always well prepared for classes and knowledgeable. The Y staff is always willing to hear any concerns and suggestions from members. The machines and equipment always seem to be in good working order. The facility is clean and well-maintained by the wonderful Mr and Mrs Song. Yes, it is a great place to spend part of a day!

The worst customer service of any YMCA in the Atlanta area. I would highly recommend finding another location. My 8 and 4- year old children were traumatized by the staff at this YMCA. The staff are horrendous!!!! Worst experience ever!!!!!

Been a member of the Fowler Y off and on for decades. Always been very pleased with the friendly staff. Lots of classes offered and the facilities are well maintained. A great option if you're looking for a good place to get some exercise.

A terrific value for our family. We drop the kids off at the childcare center, go to the gym for awhile, and then we all go to the pool; a really great time for everyone.

Fantastic place to work out. Kind people, kind staff. Family friendly and just a great environment.

Peachtree Corners YMCA, it is a place you feel at home. More and above that, the friendly and loving staff the amenities like the seven days play center where you can leave your little one's taking care off by caring people, the large 6 lane swimming with newly renovated steam room, sauna, etc...is the least I can mention why I am almost a member for about 10 years now. I am proud to be a walking billboard for this location Y. Pleace check out for your self and your family. You will love it!!

Love this YMCA! It s huge. Staff is friendly. Ample parking. Big gym. Clean locker rooms. The pool has no deep end, but it has 5 or 6 lanes that are 25 yards, and the pool schedule seems to stay up to date online. Nice hot tub and sauna as well. I d recommend this facility to anyone!

The variety and quality of classes offered is wonderful ful. The machines are updated and clean. You keep the AC on and have fans!!! The staff is always kind and enthusiastic too

I just spoke to Dorris or Deloris idk, but she was very curt. I wouldn t trust leaving my kids with her.

Awesome facility, staff, and community. The programs offered are perfect to keep your kiddos busy while honing their skills in teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship. The hours work well and the aerobic classes are great for staying fit and trying new things. Love this place!

Pros: facility is great. Cons: This branch is unusually skeptical of out of town YMCA members. I came in from California where I usually just scan in with a barcode card. The lady at the front treated me as if I was trying to swindle her out of a free day pass or something. She asked me to fill out paperwork, asked me to wait while she called my YMCA in California and then made copies of my driver license when I clearly had a card already with an active membership. Waited a total of 20 min while she attended other costumers.

This Y is always clean. Been going for years. Staff are always friendly. Obviously the previous reviewer saying "this place stank" is a teenage troll. Probably butt hurt about something minor posting his review disproportionate to reality. Staff is very attentive to your needs. I just hate that the cable TVgoes out only on the treadmills FREQUENTLY. Still love the place!

I absolutely love our neighborhood YMCA! Everyone who woks there is friendly and helpful. My husband and I usually exercise there 3 or 4 times a week. We really like all of the different classes that the Y offers and the gym and pool are among our favorites!
I ve met so many nice people through water aerobics classes and many have become good friends over the years.

We have been members of this Y for over 5 years and have loved every aspect. We use the workout facilities, the pool, participated in the kids sports teams and have been in the summer camps since we moved to Georgia 7 years ago. The staff is great and is always very helpful. I have only had one bad experience since being a member and that was addressed and resolved quickly.

I absolutely love this Y. I have been a member since 2010 and I can tell you that the people as well as the facility is very family oriented, and always a pleasure to visit. My family and I visit this Y at least 5-6 times a week. Love it, and would recommend this Y to anyone looking for a gym and/or a pool.

We like,maybe can be better if they extended one more hour every night ,and more hours Saturday and Sunday .all my family have a lot good times there..

Love the "Y", my son goes there all the time to exercise every other days, it's right by our house and it's clean and lots to do for him. Definitely recommend to anyone!!

I come to the gym almost every weekday to work out :D. I recommend this place if you got nothing to do on Monday nights.

This Y has an excellent center for seniors, with tables for games, comfortable seats for get-togethers, and many senior activities. There's even a library with a free and easy checkout system.

Yes, welcome to flavor town U.S.A. First off this place stank. Everybody's feet are nasty. Don't even bother coming here. There is a creepy man that walks around the gym just looking at everyone. One time I was swimming and a tile fell of the ceiling. The pool stank. There's always trash at the bottom of the pool. The staff is racist. The gym has mold on th ceiling. One a bat entered the pool and got in the water and they drove it out with a broom. One time the baskets from the basketball rims broke. The balls are never inflated. The bathroom is nasty and the showers have mold.the end

The YMCA Robert Fowler location is so family friendly, easy to navigate and clean. I've got my twins set up to start spring gymnastics and soccer. My kids are 3 years old so toddler programs are hard to find but the Y- Fowler has a great selection. The staff is amazing, too, and so helpful (especially the ladies at the Peloton desk:)). Thanks for a great first experience being members at the YMCA.

I will be deciding with my attorney how to proceed with this YMCA facility based on the report by my step-daughter, her teacher had her sit in a puddle of water she spilled to "teach her a lesson!" As of right now, I have cancelled the check to this facility until I am made certain this teacher will be reprimanded and removed from duties over-seeing children in hopes no other child has to experience this. My step-daughter has cried almost every day of the 3 kids we had attending and it was all from the same teacher. Now you expect me to pay her for this abuse my little 8yr old had to endure all week!!?? Unacceptable.

My daughters played soccer here and took pictures, that have been PAID for. I have gotten 0 help on where my children s pictures are and have never gotten a refund. I ve been trying to obtain these pictures and speak with someone for over a year. First Molly and then I guess she is no longer there. Then someone names Javon who promised to get back to me and still nothing, just horrible.

The instructors at the YMCA are some of the best. Both our children participate in swim and soccer and we could not be happier. The facility itself is top notch: clean and modern.

Hello, I am a person who tired the YMCA account, the other year 2020 and and they are still charging me every time from my bank card, it is not fair they have to return my money, do not charge me more when they saw the pandemis , I did not return anymore, please do not do this with us, return my money.

This Y really embodies the "Family" vibe they advertise. All of the staff are so friendly. They have a wide variety of machines and equipment and a staff member or friendly gym goer that will help explain how to safely use the equipment to you. I never feel judged anywhere in the gym, no matter how ridiculous I think I look.

I've gone year-round at the "busier" times of day and there's always a cardio machine open for me somewhere.

This Y also has great community outreach and relations. They have tons of events that always feed back into the community some way. I love this gym.

This is a great place to workout. The staff is very helpful. Clean restrooms, nice steam room and sauna. My children have always loved to come to this place. They took swimming lessons and attended summer camps at this YMCA. Lots of good memories!!

Wow, I'm confused by the negative ratings as I have had a wonderful experience working out here along with bringing my children to the childcare and preschool program. And I know because we go EVERY day! The entire staff has always been completely gracious and super nice to me and my family. This facility is always sparkling clean, and they're equipment is top notch as they've upgraded their treadmills. I love coming here to workout, and as a matter of fact, when my family moves, I will probably have some separation anxiety from having to leave this gym!

It is an amazing friendly place. Neat, clean and very organized. Amazing coaches and wonderful people, who are always eager to help everybody.

My coach at the Y is excellent and the exercise program she designed for me greatly helped me recover from back surgery in record time.

I love the staff here. I've been a member for over five years and have been impressed with the level of care given from every staff member. Best Y in town!

The Fowler YMCA is outstanding in every single way possible. The people that work there care so very much about the members. They go out of their way to help us fully enjoy all the activities offered.

This was a pretty good place and we had a nice time except for one of the staff members was being somewhat rude and slightly racist. I'm not sure what her nationality is, but she wasn't black or white. I want to say she was either Indian or Pakistani, but I'm unsure because she spoke with no accent so it's hard to pin point. She's the reason I'm giving this place 2 stars. If it wasn't for her I would rate it higher. This lady wanted to constantly be in the only black families faces all day, checking behind us, telling us that we needed to move tables and chairs back to where they belonged when we didn't move any tables or chairs to begin with. She later told us that we could not be in the teen room with our family becuase the staff had supposedly already cleaned that area which was a lie. She told us that we had to sit by the table where the pool was and we weren't allowed anywhere else becuase the place was closing soon. Mind you we were the only black family there and we were the only people who she felt the need the say something to. I watched her walk by all the white people without a word being mentioned to them. I watched her walk by all the white kids unsupervised with not a word said to anyof them, but she comes in the room where we were locking the doors to other rooms so we couldn't get in or out.

Robert Fowler YMCA in Peachtree Corners is a great facility for all ages. They have fabulous yoga classes, great teachers: Lin, Jody, Ranjana, Carrie. Fabulous Pilates, Barre Express and 20:20:20/Interval classes with Dominique!!! They have great instructors!!!! Lauren, personal trainer is a doll!! Wellness center is well equipped. Everyone at welcome/membership desk is friendly and helpful. Mr and Mrs Song, maintenance, are very nice too.

Great facility with a wide range of fitness classes included in your membership. They have childcare available while you work out. The Y also has available, financial assistance if you qualify. The employees and instructors are extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They even have a Massage Therapist. She's amazing and you don't have to be a member of the Y to make an appt. This Y is open 7days a week.

I used to enjoy going here to work out and take classes; until last weekend when the play center lost my 19 month old son. I'm so thankful that a family realized he was alone outside and bright him back in. Nothing can return my trust or confidence in my child's safety there though.

I love the YMCA and all it has to offer!!! My and my son have been memebers since we moved here almost 9 yrs ago. My son was in Kindergarten and now in the 7th mostly all his friends he has he meet at camp or after school programs or the parents night out to Teen Dances! It s a great family place where the staff knows you by name!!!

I love this facility and the yoga instructors are very knowledgeable, especially Ranjana and Lin. They have been there from the very beginning of my membership, 16 years ago.

Great facilities, excellent teachers, and good friends.

Phenomenal swimming instructors, very compassionate and knowledgeable. I ve only done one course, but will continue to take my 3 yo son there. He improved very much in not just swimming but communication as well. He always looks forward to going back to swim with the instructors. All round, awesome experience.

Great family facility with a wide variety of affordable activities for tots to adults. My kids really enjoyed their first summer camp experiences this year. The staff members are all super friendly, helpful, and kind.

First, I like your people. Everyone who I have met who works there is a terrific person and very responsive, friendly, and competent. That goes a LONG way, especially today!!!! Second, the coach approach is just so very helpful to people, and my Coach is Lauren. She is GREAT and I am healthier because of her!!!!! Third, there is a wide variety if programs offered by YMCA, which allows people of different ages and fitness levels to try different things and pursue options that work best for them. Fifth, the sense of community at YMCA, the sense of community that YMCA develops, generates a very nice atmosphere at the YMCA and within Peachtree Corners. Sixth, I love the hot tub. I do not use the hot tub very often, but it is so nice to know I can when I want to soothe a muscle or just relax. Thank you!

RDF is one of my favorite Y facilities..its a wonderful set up from the great steam room, indoor walking track, wonderful aqua aerobics group, library and good vibes!
