Brand new facility a lot of things to do for the family

The interior is very organized. Its great place to go release energy. They host many events like musicals on ice and others. You can skate play hockey or just enjoy watching from the stands. Robert crown also has a soccer and football feild for the nicer days. It is a overall great place for this part of evanston. Its great for a fun night out with family and friends.

Lovely new facility with many wonderful accommodations. Right now they need to add a few things, but book lovers and hockey enthusiasts as well as sport lovers can hang out and collaborate at this facility.

Great place to go during weekdays when it is quiet....if you are laughably bad at ice skating.

Signed waiver + attestation of no symptoms + a temperature check, then we were on the ice! Very nice, new, clean facility, but many areas not open yet, including the locker rooms.

Really cute place for s birthday party. Loved that they had walkers for kids who can't skate.

I'm a little biased because I skate here, but this center has two rinks (1 studio, 1 full size) right now and is currently being remodeled so it'll have 2 (full size) brand new rinks. The teachers here are all pretty helpful and kind. Adult classes are great!

I take it m toddler to the Creative Play program here. Great staff and activities. The kiddos even get to ice skating once a week. My only issue is the sugary snacks they give occasionally

The outside is currently under construction. Which was a shame when weather was warm. I loved to hang out on the bleachers.

Inside it was nice to hang out for a while so my niece & I could cool off. There is a library vending machine to my surprise. I checked out a boom & a DVD. Super cool. There are plenty of other a things to do & check put there such as ice skating. I'm looking forward to the remodeling which might be done by next summer, it seems like its going to be great!

They are on top of things when issuing roof permits.

Great sheet of ice. Plenty of seating for spectators and rows are spread out, great view everywhere. Super clean.

The refs were very unexceptional. A stick was thrown onto the ice from the stands, and no penalty was handed out. VERY BIASED. Refs only favored home team, and loved throwing people out. Also there were no handles on the locker room doors. The facility is the worst I have been too. GARBAGE

Public skate rink is a mess. Zamboni left standing water that after an hour was still there. Even the ice that didnt have standing water was hazy and soft. They need to fix their cooling issues

It's a fantastic community center for hanging out, can't wait for the new one to be done!

I signed my daughter up for several camps this summer and paid with a check. I had to change her camps around to fit my schedule and ended up over paying. I have been waiting for a refund for My daughter s camps for over 2 months. I wrote a check and still haven t received my refund check back. I then enrolled my daughter in free skate camp over the phone and the registrar didn t tell me it was for higher level skaters. On the first day of ice skating camp I received a call from the ice skating instructor Vicky and was told my daughter wasn t at the level and people don t read that this camp is for higher level skaters. Of course I didn t read anything if I registered over the phone. Inconveniently I had to leave work to pick my daughter up. Now I have another refund that I will NEVER get. I asked Jill Silverman the office coordinator for help on getting my refund and she said there was nothing she could do to help me. I told her I am a single mom with 3 kids and she still didn t try to help me. All this money I have spent on these Robert Crown camps have gone down the drain. They are soo quick to take your money and they won t make it a priority to return it. All I am asking for is for someone to help me track my refund but there is no one to call for help. What a Horrible experience.

Great. Basketball with good and i mean good brothern is fun. Kids were welcomed and too see them play basketball was a treat.

The new building is great! Can't set 5 starts because parking is really limited and you can ended up on the street.

I live in California now but grew up in Evanston and took ice skating lessons at Robert Crown, as so many kids did in Evanston, and I loved being there! I have great memories of my time at Robert Crown; I was in the nutcracker and I also was in another skating performance, it was just a great place. My mother (She still lives there) mentioned they are rebuilding, it sounds like it s going to be amazing.

AMAZING!!! never crowded. The employees are very nice and friendly. Very family oriented and you are always protected.

A must for anyone living in Evanston and Skokie. Heck, your taxes are paying for it!

Beautiful facility! Ice rinks are top notch and surrounding park and fields are amazing!

I Speed Skated and took a few physical conditioning classes here for about 3 years. Solid ice skating rink and facility. If you need anything just as the front desk and they'll guide you in the right direction.

I left one star out due to the age and overall imperfect condition of the place when compared to newer rinks.

The old rink lasted for 45 years being torn down replaced by modern huge facility. Progress!

The referees were actual garbage. It would have been more fitting to put last weeks leftovers on the ice. They completely overlooked the rules and definitely favored the home team. I could not be more displeased with this community center .

They're doing construction, will be a very good facility after that.

The staff that works here and the hockey club out of Evanston are great! We love Robert Crown. We are excited that there is a new rink and community center coming soon.

I go here for ice skating all the time. Really fun to go! Great place for a date and also offers skate rental.

It doesn't have enough locker rooms, and what locker rooms they have are awful, but they will be renovating soon, so I expect that to change. Likewise, the manual doors, through which it is difficult to maneuver a hockey bag, but again, I expect great things from the renovation!

One sheet of ice, but great sound system. Day care, plenty it vending machines even for books. New center opens in a week.

This isn't the same place you grew up going to as a child. The building knocked my socks off when I entered to coach my basketball game this past winter. Big windows upstairs. 2 ice rinks. A library, c'mon. I predict that Centennial Ice Rink in Wilmette will close their doors for good in the next year or two. Good riddance..
