RJ's Steak House Review

Food is like eating TV dinners service sucked coffee cold it's my mother's birthday and asked if they would do something special for her and the waitress completely ignored my request with only three other tables occupied

I have to say that RJ's always has delicious food. Ordered the Blanco Pizza, and it was pretty amazing! Also found out that they will be delivering soon!

My husband and I have eaten here twice in the last 2 months. We live in Grand Junction but we are moving to Cedaredge. We started to check out some local restaurants during house hunting. So far, this place is our favorite. Great food, great service. We ate outside once and inside once. Different meals each time. All of our meals and service have been good. Definitely gets crowded on sat nights, so go early! Will definitely be coming back.

We took a drive over the Mesa to see the colors and stopped here for lunch. The drive was good and the food was very good. My husband had a steak sandwich. Chunks of beef, medium to medium rare on a bun that doesn't fall apart. He started with shrimp cocktail which was excellent. The cocktail sauce is very good, with a hint of a flavor I could not recognize but was delicious.. I had the zucchini sticks which were crunchy and very good. I ordered the turkey, bacon, avocado on croissant. The bacon was crisp and the avocado fresh, with a side of broccoli and cheese. The cheese is thin but flavorful, and I like the crumbles on the slightly crunchy broccoli. We will eat here again!

Wonderful place nice bar. Serve wonderful food in restaurant. The best prime rib around

RJ's is now serving breakfast!! The Prime Rib Hash is delicious, and they make wonderful biscuts too!!

Fantastic atmosphere, good service and delicious food!
My family and I were driving through from seeing Land's End. I was googling places to eat and, at the time the hours were incorrect, so luckily my husband saw cars and a sign saying "steak" otherwise we probably would have had fast food!
Definitely worth a stop. :)

Apparently the restaurant changed ownership, and has been remodeled and expanded some. The dining room seemed to have a lot of space, but the tables along the wall were so close together it was hard to get in and out. The waitress mixed up our orders, and two orders of medium rare were very rare.

Best burger in town. Would recommend ot to any one and will definitely be back for another double rodeo burger

Not the best choice for an anniversary lunch. BBQ Burger was good...wife had soggy fish and undercooked chips. Had problems with availability of silverware and ketchup. The cook was bringing out the food and was hoping someone claimed it. Needed another 1 or 2 people working

The RJ's dip is the best french dip sandwich I've ever had. Great service, neat decor.

Just learned of new ownership, happy to see that the existing staff is retained, very excited for breakfast also bringing in seafood. No brainier here!

Food was excellent as usual. The remodel of the restaurant was very pleasant. However, the service was slow. My party received it's food well after other larger groups that arrived after us.

It's pretty sad. RJ's used to be a nice restaurant with great ambiance and wonderful food. But it has changed hands and been renovated. Now it's a neutral colored room with hard chairs, plain tables and paper napkins. No one greets you any more... just a sign that reads, "seat yourself in the bar." The food was just okay, and the portions are smaller than they used to be. Guess we need to find a new favorite place.

This place is not huge, but has great people and food. Their chef salad and prime rib is amazing, especially for the price. Stop in and watch a game, have a drink, play pool and dance a few.

The chicken fried steak is excellent. If you want to have a more quiet meal then sit upstairs.

Not often that I am shocked at the prices on the menu. Outside of the very high cost food was good.

I've eaten here a few times for lunch. This time was the fish and chips, really good. Fish tasted fresh (not dry and discolored like I've had at other places) you could tell the batter is their own creation. French fries cooked perfect and I even enjoyed the slaw, I don't normally. Doing a lot of construction right now to add a cold bar I'm told. Can't wait for that. All smiles on this visit

Great local steak house with a great selection of food. Fridays and Saturdays... I recommend their prime rib dinner... delicious.

Nicely updated lobby, dining areas, restooms and more! Good food and reasonable pricing! Very much enjoyed the Impossible Vegetarian burger with a side Caesar salad. Kids loved the Mac & Cheese with bread crumble crust. We'll be back!

Keep in mind it was Valentine's day. I made a reservation but some how it was made for the bar and not the restaurant. Had to wait for a spot as u don't want the bar. That was fine. Got seated, had our order taken. All good so far. Took a little over an hour for our food to arrive. My fish was warm not hit and dry. The baked potato was now mashed potatoes and cold. Her burger was not hot and dry. Service was good. Food was needed life support.

Friendly, place where the drinks flow and the food is good. It is a great place to stop after a day hiking on the Grand Mesa.

Always a fun time and they have two large screen TVs. All the sports you can ever want. In the bar they have happy hour of chips and salsa and cheese dip. Or a nice dining room to have a nice meal at a table with wait staff. You will enjoy a full bar or a nice bottle or glass of wine. They have a full menu or appetizers in the bar. It is always clean and well lit. They have a large parking that is well lit. The chicken wings are great or the prime rib is wonderful.

Great ambience in the red dog saloon.. And a fine dining area.. Rjs is a great place to bring your family.. The covered patio is ideal for relaxing outside or catching a band. Excellent food and great staff!

They took into consideration the dietary requests of our party. One of the few places where we can eat whole food plant based. They made our food dairy, meat, and oil free. Had a bean burger and baked potato with steamed veggies. Amazing. Nice to eat something other than a salad at a restaurant.

A women's group was stuck in a corner up against a wall with only one way to get out and no other customers in the restaurant. The ladies wanted steaks, but no steaks for lunch. Let's see, a steakhouse without steaks! I will never be back! The food was ok, but the atmosphere was one of a daycare with a baby and what appeared to be an open office in the seating area. The ladies told me the bathroom was not clean and one lady fell because there was water on the floor!

Zuccini sticks, pulled beef bbq, french dip, sweet potato fries, coleslaw, and potato coquettes... OMGosh good! Add a Moab Mule and a Margarita and voile! Perfection. Totally worth the travel. Staff was fantastic, too.

Classy place for romantic dinner with my wife! Prices are not bad. Food is great. Hamburger was spicy, yet smokey and flavorful. I did ask for well done, but there was still pink inside - - though I realize my idea of well done (char broiled brown through and through) is not how most people prefer their burgers cooked. Friendly staff. Free parking. No reservations needed, but this town rolls up the sidewalks early, so by 6pm Saturday, the restaurant started filling up.

Very good, except A little undercooked, and not so hot. Stuff is busy at there!

Poor service the lime in my beer was old and the carrots and celery were really rotten. Fresh food NOT!!!
