I'm a volunteer and have been for the past 3 years. Riverwood is a not for profit therapeutic riding center. The people there are so great. This experience has made me a better person. As a volunteer, you are given the opportunity to make someone else's life better and that is the most important thing a person can achieve. Just working with the kids and the horses is so enjoyable.
I can't say enough about the people who work and volunteer here. They are Angels. In just a month my son has gone from frustrated and constantly over stimulated to calm, happy, and empathetic to others. He Loves his girl Kalua. Thank you SO much.
My daughter has gone here since she was 3yrs old. She is now 7. It has helped so much with her self-confidence. Her core strength improved and now she can sit up on her own with a straight back. The instructors are wonderful people who really love their job and the volunteers are also very friendly and polite.
They have a very engaging program and I am lucky to be able to volunteer there!
