I really like the Riverwood park, it's just a really good place to hang out with your family and friends! On top of that, Riverwood is so big that you can explore there in different directions but make sure you mark ur footsteps otherwise you'll be lost. Overall, it's has a really good view of river, lake, few of the animals too. Very enjoyable place! Highly recommended to everyone.

Amazing place for seeing birds on a short walk. The signs are great to tell you what to look for. There is lovely garden area where butterfly s can be seen in summer. The pond areas give open space to look for birds and the feeders keep them active along the path towards credit river.

Beautiful landscaping with a mixture of natural vegetation. Several short trails make it an easy walk around. Sufficient free parking facilities available. Good chance of seeing some wild life, particularly bunnies

A very impressive and successful facility/charity/park, the staff are kind and the experience of volunteering is great. Home to modern facilities and a vast natural area, this conservation area provides the space for many different and exciting events year-round. My only suggestion for the buildings in the park is for some renovations at some point, although due to the conservancy being very new, they can't really be at fault for this.

It was surprisingly busy on a late weekday morning. The paths/trails are wide enough so even if you see another person it's easy to stay on the edges of the path and stay a safe distance apart. It's very shaded for the most part so not to worry about getting sunburnt. We didn't stay for too long but there's a lot of trails to discover. I'd love to go back to spend more time wandering around. Just a note that there are some hills so be prepared for them.

A local treasure, full of nature, sounds and smells. Birdwatching, trails and occasional BBQ is what makes this place a gem in a middle of city. Go there to explore and observe a tranquil transformation from city traffic and noise to quiet oasis of bird sounds.

Awesome in the fall.

Awesome in the fall.
Have to go early because there is a lot of cars and you could get stuck waiting outside for them to let you in to park

This is a place perfect for both relaxing and exercising. Only problem is that i didnt find any place where we could have BBQ.
The garden is beautiful and great space to relax.
For the ones who want to have a good exercise, the park has great long trails with high ups and downs, almost feel like trekking. When you are tired you can relax at the lake.

Mississauga city hall has done a terrific job in expanding this area in conservation aspects. Very pleasant to visit and arts exhibits are great to have local artists and paintings displayed. Also, one can schedule social events in various indoor venues

We got a photo permit for our wedding photos. Unfortunately we arrived quite late so we didn t have much time to explore the grounds. From what we saw, the park is beautiful with lots of interesting areas to take photos in. We haven t received our photos back from our photographer yet, but they sent us a few shots so far and they are all from the park! I m not surprised! The forest setting was gorgeous and we even took some shots by the greenhouse and shed! Great place and very close to the Glenerin Inn & Spa which is a great venue for special events.

Vast expanse and a variety of tall trees, dramatic wooden bridges and slopes, steps, ponds. Expect to see a myriad of colors esp in fall season and different varieties of birds and squrriels, feasting on the grains put out on wooden perches intermittently. The small birds would literally eat out of your hands if you hold out your palm for a few minutes. One of the best places to get your Fall pics.

Summer Weekends can get crowded and loud here but you can always find a quiet place on the trails to enjoy the song of the birds and the fresh air.
It is a park for all seasons.
Late in the fall trout season opens and brings lots of fishermen at the Credit.
In the winter a hand full of bird seeds will attract local birds like chickadees , nuthatches, downy woodpeckers etc. Children love it.

Riverwood is a wonderful park. There are a variety of trails that are very easy to follow. If you walk far enough along the right trail, you can reach erin dale park which is yet another major park in the area. Along with the trails, there is a historical house ( or two) along with an art class building and a school house for field trips. The art classes here can be very pricey though but entrance to the park is free since it is government run
