Great space to be outdoors with a trail leading all the way to the Credit River. Autumn colours were amazing and added to the beauty!
Very good trails for Family nature walk or walking your dog, parking is free.
Great trail for bike and run, pets friendly, able to see salmon run
Amazing conservation park with lots of pokestops and gyms
You can do a lot of activities on this place including fishing.
Beautiful trails and river in the middle of the city. Vey nice escape from the city.
The hidden gem in Mississauga s park system. There are numerous programs for young and young at heart.
An enabling garden is there for people who would love to get their hands in soil but normally would be unable to garden.
The Royal Astronomical Society meets there monthly. Guided birdwatching hikes are available-try feeding the chickadees.
You can go on the trails by the credit river or along the plateau.
Peaceful, beautiful, well thought out gardens integrating with wildlife. Educational and relaxing.
No charge for admission, free parking. Wheelchair accessible. Friendly staff.
Quite a mix of regular park goers out to stroll and first timers exploring.
Access to fishing (from lower parking lot, first left).
Beautiful place with such scenic places such as a farm, visual arts building, etc. Very calm and not too many people. Trails aren't too long, but this is still the ideal escape from city life for a little while. Great place for photos, walks, and family.
If you like to have nature eating out of the palm of your hand, literally, then this is the place for you! It's such a special gem in the heart of Mississauga.
Beautiful park, lovely trails. Easy hike. Wide trails, well maintained, and not super busy so it was easy to avoid people (covid). The red trail is my favourite, it follows the creek. The other ones are too close to the highway and not as peaceful. The only downside is no bathrooms and they don't mark the distances along the trails, so you don't know how far you are or have to go unless you spot a map. The maps are rare, only near the parking lots.
Such a gorgeous place but it doesn't take long to get lost and take 2-3 hour walk. There aren't very many maps around and the ones that you can find aren't legiable
Beautiful little jewel in the heart of Mississauga.
I was walking the paths and came along side of a turtle the size of a football. I slowed down and to admired his focus and tenacity as He pursued his objective.
Eventually, we came to a fork on the path and He stopped, and turned his neck. I felt like He was looking at me, and then we parted ways.
It was very cool.
Enjoy folks, and hats off to the folks helping and working there.
This was my first time at Riverwood. It is large and spacious with plenty of paths to walk down. There's also plenty of free parking. I'm always searching for new places to shoot and one of my clients chose this park. There were so many beautiful areas and it was late October! Definite spot to watch.
Beautiful Scenery for nice walks and pictures in the forest.
Well maintained park with lots of bird wildlife! Depending on the season you might catch the salmon run as well!
Great place to walk, hike or cycle. Lots of trails off the main ones for those who like a bit more of a challenge
Its a very nice park sitting right in the middle of the city.
Very Nice trails and scenery. must see if in the area and love to hike!
Very nice park to hike and take autumn color pictures
Great park space. Beautiful gardens. Lots of easy paths for walks.
Great place to visit, especially on a nice day. Free parking. Plenty of trails and really well-maintained gardens. Gorgeous flowing plants in the spring and early summer. Beautiful colours in the fall. Good place for bird watching with bird feeding stations throughout. Good place to visit with the whole family.
super nice area but my friend and I went fishing on oct 28th 2020 and all the fish were dead and visible idk what or how this happened but if you planned on fishing here don't bother they're all dead.
Plenty of parking places here. Lots of trails. You can do walk. You can do running or biking, There are trails for you. If you love hiking, this is the place where you don't need to drive for an hour. River stream within the woods is awesome for unwinding yourself. If you love art or want to learn something, Mississauga visual art center is the place to explore.
Bike trail, beautiful gardens with sitting area, and the main office is nice architecture
A lovely place for a nice stroll or to enjoy the outdoors. There is a small garden with various vegetables and fruits to look at. The main pavilion offers classes and fairly clean washrooms. The barn is nice but isn't always open to the public. There lots of events and great things for kids. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. The trails themselves are lovely. A bit crowded during holidays and in the fall, but if you come a quiet day, you can actually feed the birds out of your hand. Great views, and never disappoints.
Beautiful place and excellent trail.
Go in off hours to avoid the crowd.
There s events that can be held as theres a community centre there as well.
great park with modern features which accompany the natural world
I love the Riverwood Conservancy. I wouldn't normally use this term, but it feels magical. The diversity of birds and the beautiful trails tucked away right in the middle of the city are a salve for the soul.
Very nice well maintained, perfect to take the kids and have fun around nature...
Beautiful place.. So many types of plants and flowers
Have nice small garden, long trail around marshland. No large playground.
Beautiful park! Came here for our wedding photos and they turned out great
Absolutely breathtaking park to visit featuring gorgeous flowers, trees, and the sound of nature.
I just wish there was hot coffee vending machine or a cafeteria during opening hours.
Excellent park for a hike or picknic. Some trails are steep.
Lots of beautiful attractions, very good as a family place but can get very cold
Park is great, leads into credit valley and has extensive hiking trails leading north beyond the 403 and south to Erindale park. Great fishing during the Salmon run if you know where to go and how to use a fly. Also very nice in winter for sledding and hiking.
great place to go for a long walk/jog! love their trails! would recommend to go with a bike!
Good park for chilled, easy hiking. Right on Chullam trail. Plenty of parking.
Great park in the city where the kids can feed chickadees and see the salmon run in the fall.
Went to a native plant sale there! The plant sale was great! And the gardens at Riverwood are pretty awesome when you think it's all done by volunteers. As far as I'm concerned, it's maintained better than the Toronto botanical gardens
A beautiful park with lovely flowers, plants and trees. Lots of trails for nature walks.
Great place to relax, nature walk, bird watching and a bit of history with Chapel house.
Went with my kids Excellent Park did some videos and pictures
Excellent place for Hiking specially with the Family
Amazing place...the small garden and trails are just amazing
Nice place, great views and good morning sports in the place
I love this place for walks. Well maintained walkways. Beautiful garden. Paths that lead you off trail. benches for resting located throughout the area.
This is a very well maintained park with great paths
One of the most beautiful park in Mississauga. You would it here in all seasons, but if you want to see Fall colors without going too far away, you must visit this park.
The City of Mississauga has been endowed with some great green spaces ( which i hope don't disappear given the City Council's penchant for allowing construction). The Riverwood Conservancy and the surrounding trails are some of the best.
Abutting the flowing Credit River the trail leading from the Conservancy is awesome. With a welcoming green path, the well kept trails are a delight for anyone seeking to unwind and spend some quality time with nature.
An absolute must if you are a hiking enthusiast.
Lots of trails and full of birds for nature lovers.
