Fantastic people and great beer! We were asked to move from our original table so a family could sit there (this was no big deal and we were more than happy to move). We were provided with some free beer by the staff for allowing the family to have our table. This was very appreciated and we will definitely be coming back next time we are in the area!

A great variety of beer to choose from. Big tasting room with pinball and video games. There's a TV for local sports too. The back room is like an English pub with a dart board and soccer on the tele. Soon there will be a patio area available.

My wife and I had come to this brewery 4-5 times. Even bought beer to go during covid. When the patio opened we brought our own food and sat and had beers without any issue. Today we showed up with our own food and the rude owner told us we weren't allowed to because they were serving their own pizza. No sign on the door or info on the website indicating this new policy. Also tried to accuse us of lying about bringing food last visit. Never been to a brewery so disappointed and rudely addressed. Never going to this brewery ever again. Go to Newburyport Brewing instead, more than willing to accommodate and much friendlier.

After sampling RiverWalk's head popping Pink Boots...

After sampling RiverWalk's head popping Pink Boots Trust Fall IPL yesterday, I'm starting to wonder if this brewery is even capable of letting me down...another win!

Heads up visitors to the Newburyport, the North Shore and Southern NH area!!! - Make sure you drop in on one of the finest breweries in New England!!! I've been lucky enough to see RiverWalk grow through several phases...and man...the culture, atmosphere, and BREWS they have created are tough to beat anywhere in New England.

On a visit to RiverWalk, you'll be able to choose from well over 10 beers on tap, usually with a couple for the hop heads, sessionable beers to enjoy throughout the afternoon, and their continuously innovative rotating selections.

As a family, we've used RiverWalk as a function area (in Uncle Bobs pub within a pub), a place to meet up with friends, and a quick stopover to grab the latest and greatest on our way home to the Boston area after a day up "North". Every trip and interaction has been consistent in that the staff is knowledgeable and personable, video games are always at the ready, everything is clean and well appointed....and the brews are always top notch. Our child usually joins us, and he is always kept busy from games out back or video games inside. He actually usually finds another random kid to play with!

We haven't made our way to visit the folks at RiverWalk yet this Summer - but we certainly can't wait for our next visit! Thanks guys n' gals & keep up the great work! We hope to see you soon!

Large groups beware!! I've been a fan of Riverwalk...

Large groups beware!! I've been a fan of Riverwalk's beers for quite some time, so I expected to have an equally enjoyable experience visiting the brewery, but that was hardly the case when my group of 10 tried to get some beers as part of a birthday celebration.

We ordered our initial beers without issue, chatting pleasantly with the staff, seated ourselves at the picnic tables in the beer garden, and had some pizzas delivered. However, when I went to the bar to order my second beer (the first one out of our group to try doing so), I was informed by the manager that our ENTIRE PARTY WOULD NO LONGER BE SERVED. When asked for an explanation, he simply said that we were a large group and he had assumed that we had already had some drinks elsewhere that afternoon. We had been quietly keeping to ourselves, had done nothing to disturb other patrons or the staff, and showed no signs of being overserved, so this came totally out of the blue.

A couple of people in our group had small dogs with them, so a large part of the reason we chose to come to Riverwalk was because they allowed dogs, but once we were asked to leave, our options were limited when it came to finding another establishment that could accommodate us, which in turn led to several members of our party going home much earlier than initially planned, putting a large damper on the evening (it was only about 8:00 at this point, by the way).

It's been about 24 hours and I'm still bewildered by what happened; in my 10+ years of visiting breweries, I've never been to one that treated respectful, paying customers this way. If they suspected that one of us was too intoxicated to drive, I would understand if they wanted to stop serving that specific person, but to shut off an entire party after one round is utter absurdity. They can be sure that I or any of the rest of my group will not be returning for another visit, and I caution any other large groups before planning an outing to Riverwalk, because there's a good chance your money won't be any good there.

This past Sunday, I had an amazing time a Riverwalk Brewing! The beer is inventive and tasty, and the owners are engaging and friendly. It s a great space with outdoor picnic tables and plenty of indoor seating too. There were 11 of us who came in at different times, so it was easy to open separate tabs and order food (which was great!) and drinks at our own separate paces. The employees behind the bar were accommodating to our big party, allowing us to order from the bar and at times, finding us where ever we were (we moved inside to out and back a few times, with no problems) to see what we needed, always with a smile! It s family friendly (kids won t feel tied to a chair and there are old school video games to play), laid-back fun with access to a walking trail. We all had a blast and will definitely be back!

Riverwalk is doing a great job being open now. Sitting outside is very pleasant, warm and sunny. The staff is welcoming and helpful. We have been there twice recently, it is our goto place for a local brew. Today we even had ours in a real glass. The ipas are great and our favorite but they have quite a selection. It's best to visit during the week, you can relax and enjoy great beer on a sunny day!

Really cute brewery with a solid selection of beers.
It was the first great weekend day in a bit, so it was a bit crowded with some confusion for all, but once you make it outside it's worth it.

NOTE....you are not allowed to order food when you are waiting, but you are allowed to order beer while waiting.

Spacious taproom with comfortable seating, bar space, arcade games and VERY clean. We came in the afternoon on a Friday and it seemed busy. Must be popular in the evenings! I tried three of their beers. I liked the rustic pilsner. I would come to the taproom but I probably wouldn't buy some to bring home. Overall we had a positive experience!

Great place to visit! Family friendly with a large outdoor seating area. Large comfortable indoor space with pinball, arcade, and board games. Private room for events. Impressive brew house, and even more impressive beer selection. Nice menu and knowledgeable staff. My favorite place to hangout!
The brewery is located opposite the Newburyport train station and it is directly on the walking path to Newburyport center.

Well I like hoppy ipa's so it's no surprise that I love Riverwalk but they have so many other good beers it has been a real eye opener and I now have a whole bunch of beers I like. Great staff and great location so pleasant on a nice summer's day with outdoor seating and right next to the bike path. Highly recommended!!

The beer garden here is a very cool spot to visit. And is even kid friendly. We came to grab a few drinks and some food after the music festival last week and had a great evening. The brews were delicious and the food offerings enjoyable as well. Great outdoor area with games for adults and younger kids.

I have never been to the actual brewery in Newburyport but, this beer is AMAZING. The first time I had it was at "The Hidden Pig" in Haverhill. I have been in love ever since. I always go out to 99's or something just to drink river walk because I know they have it. Please keep it in local restaurants like the 99 and please keep up the good work.
