We got an excellent vehicle at an excellent price. Jim Reister was a pleasure to deal with, answered all of our questions and handled our sale quickly and completely. Jim took us through the entire process and made sure we were totally satisfied. Couldn't be happier!

I brought my car there to be inspected in the morn...

I brought my car there to be inspected in the morning at around 11 am. The car also was showing a check engine light, so they needed to run a diagnostic on it to find out what the problem was before inspecting it. The service person told me that I should fill out a form and go to the waiting area which is outside in their parking lot due to the COVID-19. I did this and explained what the problem was. He told me I would be called on my cellphone when they found out what the problem was with the check engine light. I waited for about 3 hours and the service person I spoke to told me that I needed to just keep waitIn until I received a phone call. Then a few hours later I was told that my car had been parked in the rear of the facility the whole time and that they had not done any work on it. They told me that I should have put the information sheet in a mail slot and this was the reason they did not do any work on it. I was never told by the service person who I had spoken to initially that I needed to do this. No one came and asked me why I was waiting so long even though i obviously had been. There is a real breakdown in communication at this dealership. I understand that allowances should be made because of COVID 19, but this neglect is just a symptom of a bigger underlying problem. They really need to train their repair staff better on communicating better with customers so that patrons are not left waiting for 5 hours only to find that no work has been done on their car. I am never bringing my car there again for ANYTHING!!!

Mislead on multiple occasions... And heard from others of similar actions by this dealership that the whole thing is corrupted and takes advantage of unsuspecting customers...

I did have one excellent experience from a lady who helped with the service center, she made sure I was taken care of and not taken advantage of... I am putting 2 stars instead of one because of this...... If the dealership reaches out and shows that if cares about their predatory practices, I may reconsider... But 2 is better than 1 for now and it is thanks to friendly individuals, not the management as far as I can tell, especiallythe service center

Went back to Riverhead Toyota on 8/27/19
with my 86yr old mom. We were treated with no respect, and spoken to rudely. We were told by Matt that they went over and above what they should have done for us. Trust me, they did not go out of their way for us at all! They were trying to cover for each other. I did file a complaint but not sure anything will change. My mom bought her car after her 3 yr lease. My dad had passed away and we needed to put it in her name. Long story short we needed to go back for the plates and no one wanted to deal with us. They had our money so couldn t care less that we waited 2 months for the plates.
We are done with them and never going back!
So many other choices!!!

So far, everything at Rverhead Toyota has been really excellent. The buying experience was efficient and pleasant. I had my 5,000 mile check up yesterday. Everyone as pleasant and it happened exactly at my appointment time, and I was out in a flash. A+ all the way around.

Our salesperson, Jamie Murcia, was knowledgeable, friendly and very patient. He was a pleasure to talk with, very knowledgeable about the Tacoma we were looking at explaining the various options that were on the truck on the lot and other options available. We have purchased from Riverhead Toyota previously, but this was our first time with Jamie as a salesperson.

Highly recommend Riverhead Toyota and Jamie Murcia. Great dealership and terrific salesperson!

I recently had my Toyota Rav serviced. John, my service advisor, was Terrific !!!! John's customer service skills were excellent and truly impressive. He was professional, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable . That being said, I shouldn't be surprised. All of my interactions with team members at Riverhead Toyota have been positive. There is no doubt in my mind - Riverhead Toyota is the BEST!!!!

Charles also helped me buy the Rav4 hybrid, which is a great vehicle! All service experiences have been great, and the financing was easy. All around would recommend Riverhead Toyota. From the warm welcome at the front desk, with the ladies, to the finance manager Stacy. This dealership has been the most genuine experience I ve ever head at a dealership. Milton, the sales person that helped me, has been transparent about everything. He s walked me through process with no rush and no pressure. Camille was very sweet in connecting me with Milton. Everybody I came in contact with at this dealership has been a pleasure to work with. I m lookin forward to do business with this dealership in the near future. I ve had an exquisite experience.

I always service my 2009 Camry at a Toyota Dealership. First, it was Sunrise Toyota, where I bought my car, brand new, then the last two years, at Riverhead, as it's much closer to East Hampton, where I keep the car. My car isn't a two ton piece of metal, it is sentimental to me, as my father, who passed away in 2013, and my best friend, Jim, who passed away in early 2015, both helped get me the car. She is used during weekends primarily from May through November, and only had 40,727 miles when I just got her serviced. Additional work needed to be done in the engine, and it was done at an extremely reason price, in a reasonable amount of time. I never want to get rid of this car, but if I ever need an additional car in the future, I would make sure it is a Toyota, and from the friendly folks at Riverhead Toyota!!!

I have bought and paid for 4 vehicles since 2010 and responsible for the sale of 4 more. the 2014 tocoma I bought got a flat for the first time. That is when I notice no stock tool kit to change the tire. When I called them to find out if I could get one they said I would be better off going to a junk yard its cheaper. good thing my son bought a tocoma there around the same time he had the handle you need to lower the spare tire. I will think twice about returning to buy again.

All I need to say is that I have bought 3 cars from there and have sent many friends and family members over there. No pressure, no BS friendly environment. Ali helped me with the sales and went out of his way to find the exact truck that I needed; but besides him his boss Craig has always given me a fair shake on my trade ins as well. Chris in the front office is always patient when explaining paperwork and looking up cars in transit in their system to help choose the right one for me. As far as pricing goes, everything is transparent and that gives me peace of mind.

I have been using this dealership for years for bo...

I have been using this dealership for years for both vehicle purchases and vehicle servicing. However, my most recent experience has been one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. I went in with the intent to either finance a vehicle or lease a vehicle. After clearly expressing to the salesman, Robert, what I was willing to put down up front and what ballpark I was willing to work with for monthly payments, I was essentially given the run around being quoted one price only to be slapped with a completely different price after putting down a deposit of $500. This doesn't even begin to describe the headache I went through regarding co-signers and insurance documents...etc. It was at this point that I expressed interest in financing a vehicle rather than leasing...my logic being that if I am required to put down more money up front and have higher monthly payments, why not put that money towards owning the car rather than leasing one. This set Robert off on a tantrum in which he would not allow me to get a word in edge wise and essentially talked to me like I was a fool. He was clearly displeased since he is not in the financing department and would essentially be losing my business. It wasn't until Matt, the finance manager, stepped in (literally) and assured me that I wouldn't have to deal with that salesman going forward and enlisted the help of another salesman named Craig. Both Matt and Craig were extremely hospitable and treated me with much more respect than I received from Robert. However, it has been two weeks since I requested a refund of my deposit. I originally called to get a refund and then showed up on two different occasions to ensure that they had all the information they needed to issue the refund. Welp, its been two weeks and I have yet to see the refund. Moral of the story is that I came to this dealership with the intention of walking out with a vehicle. At the end of the day, I am much happier that I walked away from the lease signing. I am now the proud OWNER of an 2013 Audi Q5 and as much as I love Toyotas, I won't be going back...at least not to riverhead toyota. Thanks for nothing, Robert. Thank you to Matt and Craig for your attempt to remedy the situation.

Purchasing a new vehicle can be a stressful and so...

Purchasing a new vehicle can be a stressful and sometimes aggravating experience. We are all familiar with the stereotypical car salesman, pushy, manipulative and a tad less than truthful.

However - this has never been my experience at Riverhead Toyota.

Over the past 2-3 years I have purchased 4 vehicles from them and on each occasion I have been treated with respect, courtesy and a level of expertise that I feel is rare in the industry.

In particular I would like to thank Jay - the sales consultant that takes care of my business. Jay could be the figure head for this outfit as he embodies all the fine attributes I have pointed out above.

I would have no reservations in recommending this dealership and would steer any of my friends or associates to Jay for help.

The people and service here are top notch and its ...

The people and service here are top notch and its mostly the reason why i have a toyota. I put my little camry through the ringer and anytime something happens I bring it here and they treat me great. There are all these dogs running around and the place is modern and nice. The coffee is trash but they give you a cookie while you wait. My toyota is no bmw but its taken a beating and they stand behind the product. 50K of mostly city miles still going strong.

I like Riverhead Toyota. I've leased three cars from them with the help of Chris Weitz and Joe D. Recently I took my 2018 Prius in for service and found another reason I'm so satisfied with Riverhead Toyota - my service advisor, Jennifer Pafundi. She was engaged from the beginning, listening carefully to my concerns and followed up at the end with a detailed explanation of work done and when to schedule another appointment. I appreciated that my car was parked close by in the garage, because I use a cane.

I am not sure what deal my husband made with them as to the purchase & price, but I went with him to pick up a 2010 Prius because he said the salesman told him I had to be taught how to program my 3Gs Iphone and the navigation system. Well, i knew more than the salesman-they called 3 others to help and no one knew anything, they never even heard of an iphone,- it was only by chance they we got it to connect. The salesman rushed through the rest of the procedure, so much so, that my husband could not start the car a day later-you have to have your foot on the brake. The salesman's attitude about the 'training' was "I couldn't care less", he was anxious to do something else.? Would certainly look around at other dealerships before I purchased from them again, even though they are the closest.

My family and I have been loyal customers for years now. This is the Toyota we come to every single time. We deal with representative Ali and he is awesome. He has sold me my first car, my dads and sisters car and I recently came in to see him for a new car. He gave me an awesome deal and made the whole process painless. I took my car on may 28 to the riverhead dealership because the
alarm system was going off randomly.
They said a diagnostic test was required before doing anything and
that it would cost $120. I agreed since I was not experienced with this problem.
After several hours waiting, I was informed that the remote had a defective alarm button and a new remote would cost $250. I refused the new remote. They put in a new battery.
I subsequently learned that the alarm is triggered when the battery is low!
The diagnostic test was not necessary at all. They simply had to replace
the battery!!
When I complained, I was told that I had agreed to the test and therefore
I had no complaint!!

With one exception, I have owned nothing but Toyot...

With one exception, I have owned nothing but Toyotas for more than 38 years. Even though it is not the closest dealership, I went to Riverhead Toyota, just to look, because of a promotional mailing I had received, promising me the "friends and family" discount on any new vehicle. I had been driving a low-mileage (79,000) 2002 Highlander Limited for over 11 years, but wanted something newer, with more features. I had been considering both the 2013 Rav4 and the 2013 Highlander, which bracket my 2002 Highlander in size.

On my arrival, I was greeted by Ted Lucki (I didn't learn until later that he is the owner of Riverhead Toyota) who, after chatting with me for a few minutes, had me test-drive his personal Rav4 Limited. Discovering that it didn't meet my expectations, I asked to test-drive a Highlander SE, and was promptly accomodated.

To make a long story short, even though I had no intention of buying a car that day, I ordered a 2013 Highlander SE with a particular configuration of features. As it happened, there was only one car in the NYC metro area that met my specifications, and it was at a dealership in CT. Riverhead Toyota arranged to have the car brought to Long Island by ferry across Long Island Sound, despite the cost, just to keep the mileage at delivery as low as possible.

The actual sale was handled by Chris Weitz, the Sales Manager, but the delivery was handled by Mike Lucki, son of the owner. At no time was there any pressure to sell me anything other than what I wanted, and Mike took extra time to explain all of the car's bells and whistles.

To give credit where credit is due, this was the most pleasant car purchase I have ever experienced, and I have no hesitation in recommending Riverhead Toyota.

As far as I'm concerned, everyone I spoke with at the Riverhead dealership had a sense of ownership instilled within. It was a magnificent experience.

I had the pleasure of dealing with not only a seasoned professional, but a really nice person. His name is Jay Scholl. As we were configuring my deal, we talked about "real" life topics in general...and you can tell when someone is genuinely having a discussion with you and when they are just buying time to complete a transaction. Jay was truly concerned whether or not I was happy and wanted to ensure I received the best deal possible. I did. Thank you Jay.

I elected to utilize TFS and finalized the financing with Peter Fournaris. Another true professional. He was a wonderful person to talk with, personable and efficient. The financing experience was not only painless, I enjoyed it!

Anyway, my overall experience including my initial reception walking in the front door was exceptional and will recommend this dealership to everyone I know.

Enjoy the ride...life is pretty quick!

I went to a couple dealerships that day looking for help on a new car. I was referred to Riverhead Toyota by a friend and to ask for Jay. He made everything so incredibly easy and stress free. I felt like my best interests were always at heart and completely felt taken care of. When it came to the final paperwork with his supervisor I was met with the same personality and heart. They are all good people and make you feel welcome. They never pushed anything on me and made me well aware of all the possibilities. I highly recommend.

We were met by cheerful and helpful people throughout the organization. We met Ted Lucki who made my sister and I feel welcomed and comfortable. Our experience was all about us not about Riverhead Toyota selling a car. While they could have steered us to a more expensive solution, they did not. Michael was our product specialist and made sure we got exactly what we needed. While all other dealerships make you wait around the lot looking at cars, Mike did not. He went and got the car we felt would best meet our needs and drove it to the door. we felt we were treated royally. Thanks for a great car and for making two women secure that we were being treated fairly and well. I won't ever buy from anyone else!

I brought my car to get a routine oil change at 9 am. I informed the person who set my appointment over the phone and the service advisor that I needed to be at work by 12 so would need my car by 11:15. I sat there patiently waiting and checked on the progress at 10:45. They hadn't even brought my car into the building!!! The manager offered me a free car wash. Such a slap in the face and waste of my time. I will never go to the dealership again.

Service department saved my butt! Rolled in just before closing time with my driver window stuck open and freezing temps outside. They got me in, diagnosed the problem, closed the window & disconnected the control, then provided me with the list of parts needed so my mechanic could do the repair when I got home. Thanks! You guys rock.

Had an appointment at 11:30 on Monday for an oil change, inspection and to look at our tire because it had a gash in it and was leaking air. We live an hour away so my husband took the car to Toyota, got checked in at 11:15. Great. He calls me 2 hours later, still waiting. Maybe they are very busy even though other people have been in after him and have already left. We decide to wait a bit longer. After 4 hours Nicole comes in to tell someone else their car is ready. She sees my husband and tells him she's going to check on our car. She comes back says they only did the oil change. They forgot about our car, the paperwork got "stapled" to something else. Sure. So after 4 hours of waiting the car won't pass inspection because the rim on the tire I said was leaking air needs to be replaced. Of course they need to order it and we would need to come back another day. Also she was rude and unapologetic for wasting our time. After voicing our frustration of waiting for no reason she raised her voice to my father in law and suggested to my mother in law who was with my husband that next time we should ask for someone that speaks Spanish. The manager came out and apologized for her behavior and assured us next time would be a quick visit. Got a call from Nicole on Wednesday says the tire isn't leaking air they will just replace the rim and pass the inspection. She suggests to come in Friday while she is there, it will be very quick in and out. Get there on Friday after 1hr and 40 mins of waiting she comes up to my husband to say "it's almost done." What?? After waiting a total of 2 hours the manager comes up to tell him the car won't pass inspection because there's a gash in the tire (that we told them was there from the beginning!!) and they don't have it in stock. We will need to come back another day. According to the manager the reason it took another 2 hours today is because they ordered the wrong tire and were going through their inventory of cars to possibly take a tire off one the cars in the lot to put on our car. I know they never ordered the tire in the first place because she said we didn't need a new one. Best part is they offer to "comp" us the inspection because we already have free oil changes and pay for Toyota care in case something were to happen to the tires. Wow, $37. So now today after driving another hour for a "quick" appointment we have to come back for a third time because they didn't order the tire that we said we needed.

Absolutely worst experience. I wish I could give ZERO stars. Would 100% not recommend and I'm never buying another Toyota.

Took to long to have car (2016) checked for it's 25,000. Also asked for them just to make sure the AC was drying out had a musty smell. At check in the attendant said I needed an inspection. So I said okay do that. Well the inspection never got done, two and half hours later. I showed up for a scheduled appointment. Very disappointed in the long wait time it should only take an hour.

They negotiated a $400 -ish fee from the leasing company to $0 and at their own expense, got our $400 disposition fee waived. IF YOU NEED TO LEASE A CAR, USE THEM, you won't be disappointed. (and i wasn't the easiest person to deal with).

Foremost, I have purchased at more than a dozen cars over the last 40+ years. Two of those purchases were made with confidence. Not a good record.

This purchase was the BEST experience I have ever had. Dan Meehan was great, no pressure, offering answers to my questions, even if he said I didn t know , which is really good. He answered OUR questions, not what would sell the RAV4.

Peter Fournaris was up front and honest, again just supplying the answers to my questions, which are tough.

Put the above together and the fact that I was a Car Salesperson should carry a little more creditability.

In addition, this is the first car purchase that I didn t scrutinize the financing documents, Dan and Peter earned my trust. The day after I received the RAV4 I looked at the paperwork and realized that what I thought was a good deal was even better.

There is no doubt in my mind that I would recommend Riverhead Toyota to everyone I know and meet.

Kudos to the people at Riverhead Toyota, especially Dan and Peter.

I received a flyer in the mail in reference to trading in my 2011 Prius for a new one at the same price per month. I thought it was BS but I went anyway. My vehicle which was leased still had 11 months to go. I spoke to Paul who was excellent, not pushy and Honest. Picked up my 2014 Prius with the same options 3 hours later, same monthly payment, just paid NYS sales tax and DMV fees. We were very very pleased. Easiest vehicle that I ever purchased. Would highly recommend Paul and Riverhead Toyota.

The service department is terrific. Appointments are kept. Service is prompt. Easy to deal with and always on the ball. Sales had a couple of wrinkles, but in the end I got what I wanted and an acceptable deal. Unless the hydrogen cell is available in 4 to 5 years, I will buy another Prius from Riverhead.

We have had our 2008 Prius serviced here at Riverhead Toyota since we purchased the car and have been extremely pleased with the service that is provided so when we wanted to trade in our 2008 for a 2014 Prius we went in and spoke to Dan Meehan who helped us with a new car. Excellent service and made the purchase and paperwork painless. went for coffee and some shopping and the new car was ready and old car turned in. They made everything work smooth.
