The staff was very helpful. We went to the three degrees restaurant and had a really nice anniversary dinner. The view was beautiful and I would highly recommend this for a romantic evening. There was a lot of seating for both meals and just having a drink.

The staff are ultra friendly and very helpful. There was this really nice guy in the bar and restaurant area, Josh I think, who was supper helpful and really nice.
Nice rooms and pretty clean. Location is great with all of the delicious restaurants by the waterfront.
They have a fun hidden deck area that has a great view.

We attended a wedding reception at the Kimpton Riverplace. The staff was great, both professional and Portland-friendly. Food at an event is always a questionable, but the dinner at this reception was excellent. My pork chop was cooked perfectly, most and melt-y. Other guests reported the chicken they selected was great. The side dishes were hot and tasty, not the typical neglected servings. Overall, I'd say this was easily in the top list of event dinners I've had in the U.S. or abroad.

The hotel is right off the Naito park. Also the employees where all nice and went out of the way to be helpful. The room was nice but there was a bed right next to the window. The window was really drafty that with the heat up I still felt cold air from the window to the bed. Also the window had mold on it too.

Speedy check in, great staff/service, and neat amenities (hotel bikes, social hour with wine/beer, dine-in room service from Kings Tide). It's a little bit on the spendy side but well worth it for the location. Easy 10 minute walk to downtown, tons of nearby restraunts, literally next to the waterfront park, and about 20 minutes walk to PSU area.

Everyone here was super super nice. The check in staff were very friendly, bell guys weren't stuffy and were casual, gave some great tips about where to check out for breakfast/lunch/dinner.

The weather was great and they have a beautiful patio overlooking the river with wine service. Room was very funky with a great bed. Overall I really liked it and will be sure to return if I'm in Portland again!

My husband and I had a lovely stay here. Beautiful decor, the room was cozy, spacious and came with a nice view. Great bathroom products. The service was great and we received some nice perks. We also got some thoughtful treats because we were celebrating a birthday. The location is awesome, it's by the river and you just step outside for a nice stroll by the cute shops and small cafes.

Nicely renovated, clean and convenient place for a short stay in Portland. Love the rooftop deck with heaters and blankets! Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic with shared bathroom across the hall, which was fine.

Location! Location! Location!

Location! Location! Location!
Easy access to Portland's shopping district. 2.5 miles from Portland Blazers arena!
Loved the rooms, service and wine tasting happy hour in the evening.

Awesome place to explore Portland from. Booked our room through AMEX travel and they honored the room upgrade perk. When we arrived, they let us stay in one of their condo style rooms with a fire place and balcony that overlooked the willemette river.

Dining was awesome, really great service and interactive staff. If you're in the area, consider staying here!

This place wad great. Pulled over in the boat downtown for a quick rest and had a great time. What a beautiful view and the restaurant/bar was outstanding. We got great service from everyone including seth. We will see you again in summer.

Fantastic service, nice Portland touches (bikes you can borrow for free, yoga mats in rooms), lovely riverside location. Staff was quite friendly and knowledgeable, the rooms were great, free WiFi as a guest, and the in hotel food provided for our meetings (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) was well balanced and delicious. If you have time, you can walk or bike on the adjacent trail (or streets) and explore the city fairly easily. Can't speak for the cost, but for a combination work/pleasure trip it was fantastic.

We stay here whenever we are in town which is often. Service is amazing and attentive, the rooms are spacious and beautiful, the restaurant is top notch and the bar is our home away from home. The view off their deck is the best in the rocking chairs. Love it!

We love this hotel, location and staff, but absolutely hate their merge with IHG. This corporate merge is clearly profit driven which has cheapen the place. It has depersonalized the unique boutique feel that we had come to love. They made certain cutbacks, merge with a ridiculous reward system where you can buy points, and get spam with emails and phone calls about time share and other nonsense members only bs deals. If it weren't for the pre-merger staff and their loyalty and service, this rating would be much different.
