River City Casino & Hotel Review

Went there for the all you can eat Crab Legs buffet. Everything was delicious and the staff was very quick to serve.

Absolutely amazing!!!! The hotel staff were all very careful and clean!!

Casino has a good selection of games but make sure you bring whatever money you're going to play with because it's a $6 fee at the ATM and $6.50 to write a check.

Beautifully cleaned And maintained. Very courteous and friendly staffing throughout all areas. Everyone was approachable, just a look of anticipating your need....such a rarity in a place as large as this Valet, front-desk, housekeeping, room service, cooks, host&hostess, slots & table attendant & cashiers etc. etc.,'Keep looking GOOD, I love been with Ya'. Tipping is very well deserved

I never win anything there. I'm fed up with that place.

Reasonable little casino. Low minimums on several tables. Will return again.

I used the ticket redemption/ bill breaker to make change of a $100 bill. The machine gave me five (5) $20 bills. I again used the machine to break one of the $20's and also the machine next to it to break another one of the $20's.

They allow smoking, I smelled like a ashtray. Service was great.

Had a giant burger and fries.
If u want a perfect burger made the way u want.. Then this is the place to go.......

It was ok I found one dealer who was friendly but the rest of them can go and sit on there hat's.

Comps are terrible, drink service is terrible as well, besides that it's ok

No poker room. that's a 2 star deduction! other than that it's a great casino

I attended a wedding reception service. All the servers were very poised and reserved. Very professional. The area was super clean and fancy.

Very, very frustrating! We won a night s stay with my employer. When we arrived the front desk was extremely rude. Rooms supposed to be ready at 3 & we are still waiting at 4:30 spending $$$ in the bar :(

A nice casino. It is possible to win here. The best casino buffet by a mile. Floor staff is excellent. Has a no smoking section, a good place to play because there is no crowd.

Always love going to RCC! Best casino in STL. Don't always win, but can say that games hit more than any other casino in STL.

The buffet was good, bars and live music were enjoyable, staff was courteous, and hotel rooms were nice and clean.

First time at this casino, went for Robin Trower concert. Was not impressed with the cheap, crowded chairs or the stage setup and lighting you get for the $65 ticket price. Went on Saturday night, so the place was extremely crowded, not so "tidy" as I'm accustomed to at Ameristar St. Charles, also the parking sucked, too far from entrances, etc., unless you pay for VIP. There weren't nearly enough handicapped parking spaces either. I circled around for 30 minutes trying to snag one to no avail.

The food is always amazing. And the service can't be beat.

It was my husband and I 10 year wedding anniversary also our first visit to a casino. The staff that checked us in the hotel were very friendly and explained everything. They have a really good selection of places to eat onsite. The casino was very clean and the staff was also friendly. We will definitely be returning.

Went for a concert . AWESOME VENUE! Go if you get the chance. You won't be disappointed. Event and casino staff are very fun and welcoming folks.

It's alright. Nothing special, just another casino.

The hotel area was gorgeous. We are at The Beerhouse and ordered pizza. It was very bland, almost no red sauce and the toppings were slightly skimpy. The worker folk were super friendly.

Not a bad place to work, just buy good shoes and insoles if youre going to be a dealer. Hopefully ill be back soon.

Great local casino with staff that is hit or miss but the younger employees seem more personable.

Late night yummy food, cheap drinks and a fun place to go

I had so much fun I love that they still allow smoking in casinos in STL. We had so much fun I'm the only one who walked away with more than what I came with.

Person who is at the front is rude and inconsiderate but the other people are friendly there

Burger brothers is delicious and the staff is helpful to teach you about a game. Friendly people, I had a great time and will definitely be going back in the future.

Food was great, but they are currently withholding my deposit for staying there. Every time I have called they say it must be on my banks end and then they say I'm not getting the full amount back but can't tell me why.

It's become pretty nice but harder and harder to win anything on slots.

I usually don't change a review but it's necessary in this case. Two years ago I gave River City a glowing review and it was worth the drive to get there. Fast forward to March 2019 and things have changed.
One perk that I enjoyed here was a quiet morning with hot coffee from room service. They always brought it up on a tray with real flatware, real mugs and crackers! For a place that bills itself as a" 5 Star Resort " I would expect nothing less. This visit was different!
They brought it up In a carry out bag! No mugs, or flatware. Paper cups, plastic spoons and some oyster crackers! And still had the nerve to charge $14! I don't gamble much so this was one thing I looked forward to. To me this was an insult.
My Wife who is the gambler also had problems because they changed her player card number for some reason and then lost her "My cash"! It took several people almost an hour to figure it out which made us late getting home.
