this place is terrible, i went there a couple of weeks ago and i do not recommend it to anyone. you cant pick your dresses they have to get it for you so you cant see any of them.

the worse part is, my appointment was at 1pm and they didnt take me in until 1:05, so when i went in i tried on a few dresses and i found out they had this one dress that i already tried on at nother store and i wanted to compare it with another dress and i was going to buy one of them the same day. when i told her it was 1:57 she said i didnt have anymore time and i would have rebook with this because she had someone at two. i told her its :1:57 it takes 2 minutes to try on the dress and compare and you guys didnt take me in until 1:05 or after.
she still didnt care and even though she knew i came from out of the city which at least was 1 hour away.

anyway they do have a lot of dresses, just poor services

I went to this place and had a horrible experience. I would not recommend this place to anybody. I showed the consultant several pictures of the styles I was looking for (in which none of the dresses they had, by the way). I choose some styles from pronovious, Maggie sottero and allure. The consultant said she would bring styles that were "similar", but ended up being horrible. 1/2 way thru the appointment, I had told her that I did not like any of the styles she had brought out. She proceeded to argue with me, and tell me that "this is what I had asked for!". When I told her that there was a dress on the mannequin that I had liked. She said, "well that isn't the style from any of the pictures you showed me. How about I bring in another dress for you to try on to see if you like that style". I had told her, that I wanted to try on that particular dress. I honestly think she may have been too lazy to take it off the mannequin for me. Although, somehow, I may have thought this was part of her job.

Unpleasant atmosphere. I wouldn't recommend this store. Ritche Bridal had a ton of great bridesmaid dresses. For my wedding I have 11 bridesmaids and some of them are out of town. So, it is pretty tough getting the girls together to try on different styles to see what fits there body. We didn't book an appointment because it was no appointment was necessary - as per one of the employees informed me via email. Myself and a few of my bridesmaids went by around 5:15 pm. Once, we walked in the door I got the feeling we should of walked out. The lady at the front was so rude and unpleasant. But, we looked anyway than a nice consultant came up to us to help us. She was a really nice sales representative name, Pearl. At this time the store was fairly empty but, there were 5 employees standing around the counter just looking at us like we were annoying vultures. No one helped this poor women. She wasn't able to clip any of the girls because she was helping us look for styles. I have worked in retail since I was 16 commission and non but, our manager would be extremely mad if I didn't help a staff member especially if we weren't busy. As a customer I felt so uncomfortable that they just wanted us out and we were annoying that we were a waste of there time. We found some really great dresses that I would loved to show the other girls when there free but, to be honest I don't even want to go back - I have a 11 girls in my bridal party and family members that would of boughten special occasion dresses for my wedding. And if we did go back I would only ask for Pearl because she was the sweetest lady ever. But, all of us girls felt really uncomfortable that we were a bother and a waste of time to the other staff. A wedding is suppose to be a fun and exciting time - but, the atmosphere that we tried on dresses was horrible. I understand that it's retail and that the store closed at 6. But, I have worked passed closing to make a customer happy and I would never treat them like how the rest of the staff made us feel. If you are looking for a wide selection of dresses I would recommend seeing Pearl. But, if you want a fun, exciting environment - as a bride and as a bride for your girls. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I went here. They brought me the most hideous dresses. I showed them one dress I liked. They brought it for me. The rest they brought were disasters. It was my first time trying on dresses and I felt like this place ruined it for me. They put me, my mother in laws and my bridesmaids into this small room with no AC. It was hot and irritating. I would never go back, nor do I reccommend it.

This place is an absolute scam. Please do not buy your bridal dresses here.
In an entire wedding party, the store purposefully ordered all of our dresses too big, in hopes that we would get our dresses tailored there. I know my dress size, and argued with the sales assistant as she was insisting on ordering me a stress 4 sizes up from what I actually am, insisting that they are professionals and know how to order, measure and size properly. I argued with them, and they made me sign a waver (as a final scare tactic) when i insisted that they order my size. I was scared into ordering a size that was a compromise between what they thought and what I thought and I am still swimming in the dress.
Every bridesmaid in this party has the same problem. We are all swimming in our dresses and the bride has had to go in more than 3 times for fittings, with each fitting costing her hundreds of dollars.
If you buy your dress here, and I suggest that you don't, please try on your dress at another store and make sure you have the proper size ordered for you. If you need tailoring, i suggest you do it anywhere else. It will be cheaper, and a more pleasant experience.
If you enjoy the feeling of being taken advantage of, then this is your place.

Purchased 7 bridesmaids dresses here. The selection of dresses is good, however the staff is very disorganized. For instance, we were told we did NOT need to book an appointment for our dress fittings, and then when two of us came in, we were continuously hassled for not booking an appointment. One of the bridesmaids also had to go back and forth through emails and phone calls to ensure the length of her dress could be changed, because each staff member she spoke with relayed different info about the process.

I had such a great experience at Ritche Bridal! My consultant was Michelle and she was amazing. She was patient and very personable. She made my family and I feel very comfortable and gave really great tips and suggestions. She was able to see my vision before I myself could and she definitely helped me find the perfect dress! I am so excited and I cant wait to go back for my fittings and purchase my bridesmaid dresses!

For brides who are looking for dresses, be sure to check out this place before they close their doors on November 6, 2016. I went here over the weekend with my maid of honor just to check it out. The first floor is broken up into three main sections, the front is mainly for Mother of the Bride/Groom dresses; middle section are the discounted wedding dresses (you can honestly find wedding dresses here for less than $300, which is kind of unheard of for new dresses especially); and finally at the back is where their bridesmaid dresses are.

Downstairs is primarily for alterations, so I didn't really check out that area. I walked upstairs and was greeted by a friendly consultant. I told her what I was looking for and she placed me in a change room. The room itself is alright, not that spacious (when you have the curtain pulled) but not as small as other rooms I have been to. They have beautiful selections. Ultimately, nothing that I was looking for. I was asking the consultant what happens when a potential bride purchases a dress here during this sale, and she said that they take them home right there and then.

I would highly recommend brides coming here to check it out. You never know. If the selection doesn't impress you, the price most definitely will as all of their dresses upstairs are 50% from the original price. Happy hunting all.

Went the first time with my 2 daughters.Wedding to take place Oct/16. We had a great experience with our consultant "TINA". And thought we had the dress, when we went back a month later to get the thumbs up from best friend and bridesmaid. It didn't happen .We ended up with a complety different dress and look. We went from an A line to a Fit and Flare. Our consultant Tina could not do enough for us she was simply amazing. She pulled the dresses that we wanted to try. Her suggestions were amazing, and honest opinions were welcomed. The whole dress shopping experience was just perfect. Thanks to Tina !!!! Would highly recommend both Ritchie's and of course hands down Tina

Yesterday I said yes to my dress. I had the best experience at Riche Bridal and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a wedding gown. If you are lucky enough maybe you'll get the consultant I had. Michelle was so kind and patient during all of my (4) bridal appointments, she never once forced me into purchasing a gown and was very supportive when I began to get anxiety about not being able to pick a dress.

I could have continued shopping at other bridal salons but based on how was treated by Michelle, Vivian and the rest of the staff I felt that I was in good hands and that they actually cared. I never had any problems whatsoever, even when I was looking at a gown that was still on the runway Vivian was trying her best to make it happen and gave me other options to try on just so I could see the silhouette.

I really can't thank Michelle enough for everything she did, I'm eternally grateful for making my experience so special. I'm so excited for my dress to come in and start the fitting process, thank you Michelle from the bottom of my heart!

I had an amazing experience at Ritche Bridal. My consultant was Naima, who truly gave me the best experience. This was my first time looking for dresses and had no idea what style of dress I wanted, so Naima brought in a variety of styles for me to try. She was very patient, even when I couldn't tell her what I didn't like about a dress. I found a dress I really liked, Naima didn't pressure me to buy the dress right then and actually encouraged me to look at other dresses. They allowed me to come back in later that day to show my Maid of Honour the dress as she couldn't make the original appointment. They were so accommodating and made me feel so comfortable. I went back a week later to purchase the dress. The experience at the other bridal shops could not compare as Ritche's set the bar high. I truly recommend Naima at Ritche Bridal.

I had a fantastic experience. After finding so many bridal shops stressful and pressuring, Ritche was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Sam was knowledgeable and even found me the perfect dress when I had no idea what I was looking for. She knew me better than I knew myself. We were not rushed. I was given time in the dress to talk privately with my entourage to make sure I felt good about my decision. I really enjoyed the private rooms they had with couches and mirrors so you didn't feel like everyone in the store was watching you. Thanks!

I made an appointment to bring myself and my 3 bridesmaids. We didn't know about the free parking in the back but we made note of it for the next time! Yes, the fitting room was somewhat smaller but I only have 3 bridesmaids so it was perfect for us. From experience I've found that bringing too many people = too many opinions and thus sometimes confusion......

This was probably my 5th or 6th store that I went to and I actually like the fact that they sat down with me and asked what types of dresses I had tried on and what I liked and then brought dresses in for me to try. She nailed it right away within the first 2. There are so many styles and I was at the point that I didn't want to get confused (I wanted romantic, fit n flare) but just to be sure, she pulled a number of other styles similar in fabric but slightly different silhouettes. PLUS - for ladies who are a street size 12, they had lots of samples that I could try unlike some other stores who have samples in only 8's or 10's (street size 6 or 8).

I felt no pressure to make a decision; Sonya who helped me was amazing! (One other store I was at the sales lady was so pushy and kept telling me that they would give me 10% off that day only if I put down a deposit to buy a dress from their store - even though I hadn't found anything there!) This was not the case. Sonya said I should go home and think about it, look at the pictures that we had taken (which some stores don't allow you to do but they had no problem with it)

I'm going back this Saturday to buy my dress and I can't wait! I had a great experience here (I've had 2 appointments already and even again, there was no pressure to make a decision even though it was my second appointment).

So perhaps if it's your first or second time shopping and you're not sure what style you want save Ritchie for when you re more decided. After all the stores I've been to, this was my best experience, hence why I'm going back to buy!

Buyer beware! The staff were really helpful and, as a wedding party, we had a good shopping experience. However, it all kind of fell apart afterwards. One of the girls in the wedding party got the identical dress for almost $100 less at another bridal shop. Those of us who ordered from Riche were not allowed refunds, and they refused to price match. Everyone who ordered from Riche also had to get her dress altered because they arrived multiple sizes too big. I expressed my frustration when I pick up my dress, but there were no apologies, or offers to make it right. Would not go back, or recommend; girlfriends don't let girlfriends get ripped off!

What an amazing experience. I had the most amazing consultant named Stephanie. I went in with an open mind not really knowing what I wanted. I had a fairly large group with me they were more than accomodating. They put my group into a large room with lots of seating and then the dresses began. Honestly every dress she brought in was so suitable for me, once she found out things I liked about the dresses she just kept them coming. She wanted to make sure being a bride to be with not much direction that I tried on all styles and shapes. I fell in love with two dresses there so I decided to proceed to other dress locations. Let me tell you NO OTHER store compares to Ritche. I haven't fully decided on a dress but I will tell you this I will for sure be buying from Ritche. Great Experience, Great Service, Great Dresses.
Another thing I loved is that there was no pressure to purchase!!

I went into Ritche Bridal boutique on Avenue Rd prior to the new year and super sale that occurred last week and worked with a girl name Michelle. My experience at the boutique was amazing as Michelle was very helpful and gave her honest opinion. I've noticed in some bridal stores, that the stylist will encourage the bride to go for the most expensive dress, not Michelle. The other staff at Ritche were very helpful as well. I did not purchase my dress in the store during my first visit, however I decided to attend the super sale that happens only once a year. To my luck, I was able to work with Michelle again! She helped me out immensely and I ended up purchasing my wedding dress! It was a GREAT price and a great experience altogether. The boutique and sale has a lot of options that can satisfy all taste. If you are looking for a dress at an affordable rate, go to the sale! It only happens once a year...next one will be next January! Thank you Ritche Bridal for making such an overwhelming experience, smooth and comfortable. I would recommend this bridal boutique to anyone!

Had a great experience here! Sam was very helpful and understanding, not pushy at all and happily pulled everything that she thought I would like. Found a great dress and under budget! Much more relaxing atmosphere than most of the other places I went to which made for a much less awkward appointment. Have already recommended this store and will continue to do so.

I would not recommend this bridal shop to anyone. My sisters and I have been to a LOT of bridal shops over the past two years and have always had a positive experience, except for this one. When we went to find my bridesmaid dresses we were attended to by two women. Both of them seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves them helping us. They were not very helpful at all nor were they the friendliest of staff. I thought nothing of it until we went to pick up the dresses and one of them came in the wrong colour (supposed to all be pink and one came black). How could this have happened? Well once we looked back on the invoices we realized the ladies wrote BLACK on one of the forms. FURIOUS by this I asked what they could do. All I have gotten thus far is "the manufacturer will try to send a new dress". TRY!?? Today I was informed that the dress will arrive 9 days before my wedding, not exactly enough time to get the dress altered. The company has done NOTHING to make up for this mistake and it is very clearly THEIR mistake. I am extremely displeased with Ritche Bridal and will NEVER be returning and I advise you all the same.

I just bought my dress here on Monday, and I can not say enough good things about my shopping experience at Ritche (even moreso when compared to any other bridal shop that I went to). The shop is clean, well lit, and inviting - with private rooms for you to try the dresses on in (as opposed to the curtained-in corner of a room the other place directed me to).

All of the ladies I met there were very nice, helpful, and genuine in their desire to find me the right dress. Michelle was my consultant both days that I visited Ritche, and she was the best! She never came across as pushy, she offered her opinion when prompted but not when she could tell that I was still thinking about it. She seemed genuine, and she also listened to me and made some notes about what I liked and disliked when we first sat down together. She pulled 10-15 dresses for me between the appointments that I had with her, and all of them were considerable on the hanger at least. The dress I ended up buying was a suggestion of hers, and not one that I had pictured or described actually! Thank you again Michelle :)

Rachel also gave me her thoughts when I was going back and forth between two dresses that I liked, which was very much appreciated and done in the perfect manner. Michele had no problem switching back and forth between the two dresses multiple times, and helped me with everything from slipping my shoes on, to lacing up the corset gown three or four times for me within about half an hour. I ended up purchasing my dress that day, and it was thanks to the great atmosphere and service that I received that I felt 100% secure about my choice to buy there. My Mother also got her Mother of the Bride dress there that day, and they gave her a discount since we both bought our dresses there. Thank you Michelle, and Rachel, and also Mona downstairs. Ritche is the best!

I have been in many weddings before walking into this bridal boutique and was very happy with the selection. I came in looking for a few dresses by Dessy and the associate helped me to pick out some additional options that I would never have selected if it wasn't for her. I had Michelle as a consultant and she was a pro. Enthusiastic, professional and organized. She knew exactly when to attend to me and when to leave me to my own devices. If only all customer service could be like this.

It is a busy shop so pack your patience when you arrive on a weekend. I cannot speak to their bridal department, but as far as bridesmaids, they met my expectations and if I cannot find a shop that will turn the dress around to me faster than 4 months, I will be purchasing my M.O.H gown from here 100%!

Purchased my wedding dress from this store at the end of March. I had my own private room where I could try on dresses and show my mom & sister in privacy. My consultant Julie was very knowledgeable and showed me the styles and designers that I asked for, along with some of her own suggestions that she thought I might like. She didn't pressure me into a purchase. She had no problem with me going back for forth with two dresses, lacing me up and unlacing, accessorizing me with different veils and head pieces so I could see what all of my options were. I ended up finding the gown of my dreams. and I feel 100% confident in my purchase.

The only reason why I didn't give Ritche 5 stars is because I would have liked to pick and choose my own dresses. Also, I was told that my alterations would be 500 which seems to be a bit on the high side.

My experience with Ritche Bridal was fabulous! From my first appointment when shopping for a dress to the fittings that followed the service was impeccable.

I found the most perfect dress and after the alterations, it fit like a glove. My dress was quite elaborate and required a number of fittings but it was well worth it. Pina assisted me during my alteration appointments and she was absolutely fabulous. Pina put my mind at ease and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Pina made my experience stress free and was so very helpful in assisting me when helping to decide on my jewelry. Thank you, Pina!

Great store! Good selection and the staff is very friendly. Also great for bridesmaids, you don't need an appointment. Definitely hit this store up if you're looking for a wedding dress.
