This will always be my "home" church here in Utah. Came here and was welcomed with open arms. Elders and lead pastors are godly men who have made a profound impact on my life and many others as well. They offer two services (first is traditional, second is contemporary but both have the same sermon message). A great place to get acclimated to Utah if you've moved here from out of state.

Amazing place to worship God. Been going to this church for 31.5 years, and I've also gone to other places on another day. I love being able to serve the body and God. This church is great with being able to plant and communicate with other churches well.
Risen Life church is a beautiful place to attend Christian services. All attending pastors are well grounded in the Word of God. My wife and I like attending the 9:30 service and then we have a wonderful Sunday school class after that.
This is a church that preaches and teaches the true Word of God as presented by the Gospels. No wolf in sheep's clothing here, just the truth of God's plan to redeem your soul.
The worship service is terrific because there are super inspirational songs and best of all, the music director, Sean, sings in a key that the majority of the congregation can sing in without straining their voice to reach some elusive high note.
Come and worship with us, you will be blessed.

Have had a wonderful experience at Risen Life, it has a welcoming body of people that have become like a family. It's staff are hard working, well educated and experienced. The Elders are easy to go to for advice and mentoring.
I took my 2 young kids to this church for the first time today. And within 30 seconds of going in, they told me to give my personal information into the computer.
I said I don't feel comfortable doing that.
I asked, "So we can't come here if I don't give my personal information?
The gentleman in charge said, "Yes".
I said, ok. Thanks very much.
I said to my kids, let's go.
So we quickly walked out, and we will never come back.
Strange for a church to ask for your personal information as soon as you walk in. I don't know them and they don't know me, and making you to give your name, your address and phone number and other private details, to strangers, and you are not welcome in this church if you don't, is something that's intrusive and out of line.
The way they made you fill in your personal information is also sneaky and dishonest. Because the first page asked just for your last name and phone number. So I thought, ok. I filled it.
But then, you have to click the next page, and they asked for more personal questions, getting even deeper, asking for your address, your full name, birthdate, and social security number.
What kind of church is this that wants all these private information?
If you don't you, are not welcome!
Very weird, and un-Christian like.
UPDATE: 2/4/2019
@C. Phillips Yes, this is the very church I went to. Not mistaken at all.
@Michael Krause, I walked in not more than 30 seconds, and you'd think I asked them, where is daycare?
I never mentioned about daycare, and I wasn't taking my kids to church for daycare, and I didn't even know churches have daycare. If I needed daycare, I'd go to the mormons.
I have been to many other churches and I taken my kids to their respective classes for their age group, and have never seen any of them asking for your birthdate and social security number.
Social security number?
Are you kidding me??
Especially when you don't have any security to protect such information from a breach, which if Citibank was breached when they spend tens of millions each year, certainly yours will be a piece of cake.
This tells me that this church is much like the mormon church, a business institution disguised as a religion.
In fact, your response of daycare is Exactly what the mormon religion would say. Deflecting accuracy of information, and not taking responsibility.
So, you words that you needed to protect my kids using my birthdate and social security number is far from the truth and sounds more like Donald Trump's words that his was of the most attended Inauguration in U.S. history. PERIOD!
Why don't you start at telling the truth if you are a "TRUE" Christian.
Look, it doesn't really matter what anyone chooses to do when it comes to going to church, I'm only here to educate others with the truth of my experience, and it's up to them to decide what to do with it.
When you eat food that made you sick, such as contaminated lettuce or a restaurant such as Mexican Chipotle, both of these instances made national news, wouldn't you want to warn others so they won't have to experience it and get sick, or even die from it? Which happens more frequently than we would like, unfortunately.
I'm only doing the same, so please don't offense. I don't get paid when people don't go to your church. I just reported my experience, and it's up to the people who reads it to make the choice for themselves.
One of the healthiest Christian churches in the salt lake valley. The leadership is super strong and healthy. The church has been nothing but a blessing to me and my family.
I attended this church for a short time while I attended a local college. I wrote all this before Covid, but only recently found it never published correctly. So here goes. This is probably the most well run corporate church I ever seen. I say corporate because the atmosphere is more business oriented than spiritual. The Sunday service is polished and culturally relevant. Lights, sound and video production are high quality. The musicianship is so far above me it feels more like a show than worship. The disconnect doesn't end there. The pastors lack relational skills besides the cordial and can't or won't personalize with me. One bearded guy seems to be genuinely interested in me the few times we talk but it was obvious the size of the church prevents deep relationships with staff. Not to be too harsh, but even with my limited interaction with staff I can't say I met or know anyone of Godly character. Everyone on staff is as polished as the Sunday service, complete with professionalism and degrees. Even then I get the feeling this church isn't about individuals or relationships. Everything is corporately designed and driven. The few small groups I attended are not designed for spiritual growth but socializing. No Sunday class or small group are offered for training to grow and deepen my relationship with Jesus or the church. That said, I can't remember a single testimony shared publicly, except maybe a story or two for illustrative purposes by the speaking pastor, or someone sharing their story privately. There is no sense of family, except perhaps in a few of the long-term attendants. Still persons are courteous. The only difference I experienced here than at Mormon services I attended was the content and service design. In some ways the Mormons were more real and open with me than the Christians in Utah. At least they showed more genuine interest in me as a person than an attendee, but that could mean something else.
This church has been a tremendous blessing to me and my family. I'm blessed to have had a great opportunity to learn and grow on the staff here and now they are assisting me as I'm serving to plant a church in another part of the Salt Lake valley. Love these guys!
I Love this church! The Staffers are Loving, God-Fearing/Honoring People! The members here are Loving! It'll be AWESOME when everyone Finally GETS to come back to Worship!!!!!!!
Henry Chandra, I am sorry you had a negative experience at our Church. I think the disconnect here is that you wanted to drop off your kids in the child care? If you do this the Church must get your information for their protection and the Church's. If you just want to come to the service with your kids there is no requirement to provide any information. All are welcome. I hope you find the perfect place for worship.
