A historic, large and welcoming place. Good ice cream and quite cheap, not far from Termini station and a short walk from Piazza Vittorio.
A historic, large and welcoming place. Good ice cream and quite cheap, not far from Termini station and a short walk from Piazza Vittorio.
The ice cream is too frozen and not very creamy. I also understand that the tastes of each of us are different, so ...
Definitely below expectations. The ice creams in the display trays were visibly loose. And to say that it wasn't a particularly hot summer day.
It's really awesome, but it's a little bit annoying because the black staff was a little bit
Local boss's wit and humor is ok
Korean available
60% of Koreans are Korean
A classic in Rome. One of the busiest ice cream parlors in the city
Always delicious .. Very friendly staff ... honest prices (ice cream 16 euros per kg) Row even half an hour unfortunately
I went to all three gelato houses. This was the last course. Compared to other shops, the store was the largest and the tables and chairs were good. (Zarise X) The other shops were small and had to stand on the street More
Very good place...plenty of choices...it's a bit noisy but worth it.
One of the most historic and good ice cream places in Rome. Fassi is Rome of ice cream
High expectations by reputation. The reality is a bit different... feels too commercial... the flavoures are just regular and the gelato itself is too cold. The place is too big and not wellcoming...
We loved the taste of the ice-flavours that we had. Unfortunately, I did not take pictures before we ate all of it! It was that good))
The location is really good, we got there on foot and enjoyed conversations with the ladies that work there.
Welcoming in a mixed atmosphere of tradition and professionalism.
Excellent homemade ice cream of ancient Roman tradition and at a good price. For 2 euros I didn't find comparable ice cream in Rome.
Beautiful ice cream shop just a step away from Piazza Vittorio. A retro environment that leaves no room for the charm of modernization, keeping the great quality of the products in the first place. Really good ice cream. To try.
Rome MA Vittorio Emanuele. Renowned and historic Roman ice cream shop where ice cream is art!
Very good ice cream and nice staff. A little air conditioning wouldn't hurt
I don't understand the line that is created ...
It's the same ice cream that you can find in any other ice cream shop.
The cone wafer is poor and in certain flavors there are pieces of ice.
In Rome there is better.
Difficult parking but the ice cream makes up for everything .. always great and the best in Rome
Spectacular ice cream, you immediately feel that it is handmade and made with fresh and natural products. Absolutely excellent prices for the quality and quantity offered. A warranty.
The ice cream of Rome always. The place has not lost its style, it is evident that it is a place that has a history
Although the quality of ice cream has become Korean and not only remain.
The top. One of the few places where you enter and spend half a happy hour forgetting the problems of life. Power of Fassi! The only ice cream parlor where I really enjoy going, the ice cream is fantastic and in constant sidereal improvement and the cream is okay to say, by far the best in Rome is Italy (and therefore the world). Thank you for the decades of enjoyment done and to do.
Really good gelato ice cream, not to be missed.workers are friendly.
A famous address for years, however the quality is not at the appointment. Ice too much sweet and tasteless. I am a little surprised by all the compliments. I live in Rome for a few years and this glacier is for me one of the worst I have tested.
Between us we tried Rice, Chocolate and Hazelnut, Tiramisu, and Limon. They were all fantastic. The prices weren t bad, especially considering you get two flavors to try even with a small!
The best ice cream in Rome, the neighborhood is half ugly but worth it
The oldest ice cream parlor in Rome. Best since 1880.
I chose a medium cone but the third taste almost non-existent and the quantity equal to the small cone chosen by my daughter always with three flavors
I went for the brioche with ice cream but there was no one who knows why
In short, high expectations but I was disappointed
It is not the first time that I go
average quality ice cream. The taste "coconut" does not know anything.
Usually long line but gelato is Delizioso. That's why it has long line.
Excellent ice cream as always and a wide choice of flavors, for me it is a fixed stop since I was a child
Great ice cream, very nice staff and very welcoming local, to try
Give a point to the cashier instead of this shop. The ice cream in the store is really delicious. As a tourist, I came here to eat for the second time, but the cashier's attitude was very bad, grumpy and uncooperative. Although he didn't understand what he said in Italian, he I can guess something bad, and I just failed to swipe the card and wanted to try again. He insists that I do n t have any money in my card. I do n t know if I have any money? Even if you ca n t swipe the card, you can ask me to pay cash or some other solution. ? I think he has racial discrimination, such a person is really not suitable for service work
Excellent ice cream - after all, the school that teaches many young people the art of ice cream is renowned
The quality of the ice cream is bad
I had an ice cream with the following flavors: tiramisu (passable) variegated nutella (passable) and melon (almost ruined acid and moreover half-way liquid cream. My boyfriend got the lemon and mint granita: (granita made of ice with mint syrup and a lemon syrup of very acidic quality not passable)
Total cost of 2 ice cream and granita: 2.50
I don't know what happened with this very famous place for its great ice creams.
I don't recommend it at all.
Delicious gelato at a great price! Highly recommended! I enjoyed the cream and chocolate flavors. The staff is also very nice
If you are visiting Rome in a place that you can not miss. It is a gelateria with a lot of history and classic flavors. Despite this, the prices are fair. Close late, but you have to be patient because the store may be full.
Excellent ice cream, the prices are very correct, the principle is simple you go directly to the cash register and you are given a ticket to then go to choose, the flavors are excellent, it is just the room to taste that is not looked after.
Excellent combination of tastes and costs. Too bad for the absence of mandarin ice cream, an authentic excellence for refined palates ...
The greatest gelato in Rome, and one of the best in the world.
Fassi is extremely good value for money, with friendly employees and a wide range of delicious ice creams. They also sell amazing semifreddi and tramezzini. A must if you are in Rome
It was a little scary to come, but the inside is spacious and pleasant! There are many places to sit and eat. The lemon taste and raspberry taste were particularly good. Among the staff who give gelato, there is an uncle who speaks Korean. It is very friendly and fun! I had a delicious gelato that feels good ~~ :-)
A historic Roman ice cream shop that offers - in addition to excellent cones and cups of loose ice cream in many delicious flavors - also some "classics" of the house: the "tramezzini al gelato", the "gianduiotto", the "biscotto", the "sanpietrini" , the "Caterinetta" ... And still others there would be, all united by a characteristic: quality and taste. The restaurant, at the southern end of Piazza Vittorio, is very popular with the Romans, and I personally have known it since 1993, without ever falling in quality. An ice cream outside the tourist circuits, but worth discovering (10 'on foot from Termini).
The best ice cream in Rome in the wide and airy space of what looks like a large waiting room with lots of tables and chairs ... in a beautiful station. Interior rooms, unique preparations. You have to try the Fassi cup and taste the cream !!! .if you are thirsty then there is the fountain !!!! ... pity that the balcony is no longer available .... too uniquely characteristic !!!!
Historical ice cream shop in Rome with excellent quality and a wide variety of flavors ... with many ways to taste ice cream and whether it is the Sanpietrino or the sandwich that the caterinetta Not to mention the cream and that to my taste and the best I have ever tasted
Excellent ice cream of course! Too bad they didn't think of a simple levacode to avoid the crowd in front of the counter ... but what to say Fassi is Fassi ...
Gelato good at unbeatable prices. Too bad for the degradation of the area.
It is an institution, and I have known it from childhood
A historic place in Rome, where excellent ice cream has always been eaten. The tastes have been revisited in a modern key with an eye to tradition, without fancy flights. The cream is always fresh and with an excellent flavor, the top quality ice creams. There are also ready-made ice creams with a stick and the so-called sanpietrini, ice cream inside and chocolate outside, which have the typical shape of the hand-worked stones that make up the pavement of the streets of central Rome. Large room where you can sit freely to taste the specialties and a fountain that offers public water to customers. Compulsory stop for both tourists and Romans.
Wow so good , best ice cream ever eat , hope I can live in rom so that I can eat ice cream here every time I want!
Yummy ice cream and beautiful location, I've been going there since I was a child and there is no better ice cream for me!
I've never had better ice cream in my life. Portions imposed with a flourish, the price very ok. Friendly service and very efficient.
I ate the crepes, which was made to me (very good) by a very kind and very helpful salesman. Highly recommended
The ice cream they produce is the best ever, a wide choice of flavors and the right prices. Cream is something spectacular.
Good ice cream that never "betrays" in its tradition!
In my opinion the best ice cream in Rome (as far as creams are concerned).
You can fully savor the taste and above all the difference between the various flavors, which attests to the traditional care with which this famous artisan ice cream is made.
Forget the ice cream made with the powders that is now found everywhere (by the way did you know that if the ice cream goes beyond the edges in height it is certainly made with the preparations?).
I recommend hazelnut and pistachio.
Today I came for the first time and immediately I was struck by the sobriety that emanated the room, the touch of art was seeing the opportunity to taste the product in a very nice outdoor room instead of the ice cream I took, large cone with eggnog, stracciatella and chocolate with cream I found an ice cream at the height of what I was told, the cream disappointed me a little ...
A piece of Rome's history. Excellent ice cream and many treats to try
