Had a great time.....but very pricey. For 3 attractions $32.99 for adults and $25.99 for a 6 year old. That's a bit up there. The wax hand dipping was pretty cool but again pricey. And paying the extra $5.99 to have it glazed is not worth is. It began to crack on the was home. Overall a great time, the wax museum is very large (apx. 30 mins, but if you read everything over an hour).

I've owned plenty of books by Ripley but never got to visit the mueseum until now and it was great. There was a few things to do from the Wax museum, the Ripley's museum, and a maze of mirrors that I enjoyed. A few things here and there that need to get fixed but over all great place!

Took the kids, age 15 and 11, and we all had a blast. Had been afraid that one of them might get a bit bored, but by the time we finished the Ripley's Odditorium, they were begging me to do the Maze of Mirrors as well as the Palace of Wax. Even the bathrooms were a hit, but I'll let you find that out for yourselves, ha! As for how long any of it takes, is really up to you; you can choose to walk through quickly and not read or look at every single thing, or go as slowly as you'd like. All in all, a great time and would love to go back. Oh! One last note to parents who are taking younger one's into the Palace of Wax - at the end, there's a wax "haunted house" that gives you the option to walk through or exit into the gift shop ; my 15 yr old son who loves this sort of thing took a peek and chose to stay with his 11year old sister in the gift shop while I walked through it, bc of how it looked and sounded. I walked through by myself and not sure if it was bc nobody else was in there the entire time except for me but it was pretty scary. I enjoyed the thrill of it but screamed and jumped at several turns. I'd love to do it again, but this time NOT alone, ha!

For $90 for 3 people I at least expected a level similar to the San Antonio location. The mirror maze is extremely tiny and took my 4 year old 5 minutes to navigate and the Ripley museum took all of 20 minutes to do. Pales in comparison to other Ripley locations. Save your money and skip it.

Fun place. 5 different places under same location. Ripley's believe it or not has different real facts and artifacts, very unique things to check out. Wax museum has good collection but not very accurate. Mirror maze is great. 7D movies are interactive and competitive with entertainment. Laser maze is short but interesting. Well maintained facility over past more than 10 years. Must go

We had a great time, the combo deals have great value. We thoroughly enjoyed the mirror maze even though a bunch of kids hadn't worn gloves or followed directions and had left fingerprints on the mirrors. We also enjoyed wandering the museum- great variety of exhibits and interactive history/ odd facts. Great place for families as well as folks without kids. The gift shop had a good variety of souvenirs. We liked the unusual Christmas trees. Worth a visit! I've always wanted to visit one, but I've never managed to arrive at one during business hours. Very glad we stopped.

Get there super early! Went on a Saturday almost as soon as they opened and it was packed by 1 PM. Loved the wax museum and the Christian Gospel story path. If you do the virtual reality "ride", sir in the front row. When you shoot the guns, the back row can't reach the screen so you get no points.

Fun.

This is part museum, part circus, and part house of horrors. Some of the people looked so real I was scared to get close to them. This place is a lot of fun and there is so much to see. I want to go back at Halloween.

A very fun place to visit for the young and old. The mirror maze is harder than it looks! You have to try to go through the maze without touching the mirrors and coming out the exit ! I had to go through 3 times before I was able to make it all the way through! The wax museum had a plethora of famous people in wax state! Entertainers, politicians sports figures ,etc. The Odditurium was filled with incredible facts and some not so credible facts! The 7D movie theater was very fun and competitive! We had to shoot Zombies and earn points! I had a blast here and stayed almost 4 hours! A must do ,if you ever visit Grand Prairie!

This is a Fun place to spend a Day with Friends and Family

Out of all the attractions they have the Ripley`s and the 7D theater/Game are the Best.

Con : They do Not have good eating options there.

The best ripley's I've ever been too! Get the combo pack that includes all 5 activities! Totally worth it! I wasn't a fan of the zombie interactive ride. The other one seems more fun. The horror room of wax was my favorite! Needs more instructions at the lazor room.

Luv it

Ripley's used to be a great time. However, over the years, the price has become astronomical and you're easily looking at a $100+ spend for 2 adults and 1 child. Now, once you get past the sticker shock. Let's get into the displays inside Ripley's. Two very important pieces of information. Some brainiac at Ripley's decided to remove two of the better displays in the museum. First off, the Tornado alley display - GONE. The mermaid hologram display GONE. You might assume that some awesome display was put into their play - right? WRONG. What, now, sits in the place of these displays are a pay-to-play arcade shooting gallery. Are you kidding me? What ODDITY is being displayed or represented by a freaking arcade shooting gallery? Also, something you will now notice is (I lost count) at LEAST 20 vending machines located at every TURN while going through the museums. There are so many machines it gets to the point of distraction. Shame on this place. The cost continues to rise but there is no new value added to the additional cost and then they insult your intelligence by placing shameful vending machines at every turn. Be prepared to start paying for parking at this place too.

Ripleys was a great stop for the family. Some of the attractions were brief, but overall it was worth the visit. We spent over $120 for a family of four, and we spent about 2 1/2 hours there. The kids were getting tired, otherwise we probably could have done another hour.

There is a small snack bar for food, but don't plan to eat lunch here.

We were here for Spring Break, and it was packed. I feel it may been an almost capacity level, but it didn't feel overwhelming!

The only negative was the bathroom smell that seemed to flow into the main area.

Funny

Okay

OMG! So not worth the $$$! We were visiting Texas from Virginia and I was looking for something fun to do with the kids. We purchased tickets for 2 exhibits (we chise the Mirror Maze and the Wax Museum. Way overpriced, about 130 for 5 of us! The mirror maze was small and disappointing. The was museum figures looked like rejects! Hardly any of them looked like the actual people and some of them were worn, chipped and the hair was horrible! I have been to a few other wax museums and this one was very disappointing. Save your loot and take the kiddos to the stadium or an arcade instead.

Ripley's Believe it or not is it amazing it's a great place to take your friends and family. The wax museum is full of familiar faces and a great place for a photo opp with the famous and the infamous. Nice place for a family day. I took my children and Dad to Ripleys. All my kids had a blast, from my 18yr old to my 2yr old, they all left talking about going again. The Odditorium was the main attraction with so much to do and plenty of hands on for kids of all ages. We also went through the mirror maze, not everyone came out the right way but we all ended up full of laughs. I bought tickets from an online app so I got a discount, but overall worth the price you pay to get in. Each extra attraction is an additional $5 a person which I think is pricey but I'm a frugal mom, so maybe I'm just too cheap! Overall, fun place, can't wait to go back and visit the wax museum and movie parts!

Fun.

i came here on the 15th of this month i think, the experience was great.. especially the wax museum was great and i really enjoyed observing all the figures, mainly the superhero s. The people that were doing the photos in the wax hall were very enthusiastic and probably the most helpful employees i encountered while i was there. when i got to the girl trying to sell me my photo, it was late and although i didn t want to buy it she was very polite about it . the ripleys attraction was also very interesting. i recommend this place a lot, very positive experience

Seeing this sign made me think of the show from the 1980's I used to watch as a kid. There are a few cool items in the parking lot worth a look at. Inside it's hard to decipher what exactly is going on. The signs aren't clear that there are actually a few things to do including a wax museum, the actual museum, laser tag although I never did figure out what that had to do with it, and a theatre of sorts that was basically a tourist trap. It's worth stopping in to say you've been there. To actually do anything however, be prepared to take out your credit card because it'll likely sting a bit.

I had the whole place to myself and it was pretty neat! The wax museum is pretty big and has all the US presidents which was super creepy but interesting. I loved reading all of the "believe it or not" facts and learned a lot of really useless things! It takes a few hours to walk around everything if you actually stop to read each of the facts.

I would have rated a 5, but the frozen orange treats we bought were horrible. The Minute Maid Soft Frozen Orangeade had obviously melted at some point and separated. Then, it was refrozen and sold. It was terrible. The top was thick sticky messy sugar and flavor, and the bottom was flavorless powdery ice. They should throw them all out.
