We stayed there recently as part of a large car club. There was enough parking for the 100 cars which we had, albeit it being outdoors ( to the chagrin of a few, who would rather have preferred parking their precious classic cars in a garage), you cannot please everybody. At first glance the hotel looked impressive from the outside, but when walking in it looked rather dated - East German style. When we checked in, we were just handed the keys and not told about the times of breakfast or any further information ( we had a hall booked for the weekend where we would be having our meals).
The rooms are basic, the pillows are not pillows, I wouldn't have even given them to my dogs. Luckily I traveled with my own pillow, but my poor partner had to go down to the lobby and ask for 2 extra pillows; which were of the same quality; to be able to at least rest his head comfortably in bed.
In the evenings when sitting downstairs in the lobby, waiting to get into the hall, we tried ordering drinks, which was a hit and miss at times. As we couldn't order at the bar, instead had to wait for a person to come to the table, take the order. Often times it took them 20 mins to get to a table, and even when ordering the drinks often times arrived warm ( especially in my case as I cannot drink alcohol at the moment so had to stick to soft drinks) or they never arrived at all. There were some staff which were friendly, but the overall majority were rude.

Our tv in the hotel room did not work, it was mentioned to the staff, but I knew this would not get fixed. Wi-fi patchy.

Solid, clean hotel. we seen all type of rooms - and used the Panaroma Suite ourselves. Interior, bed, space, and service, I perceived for arrangement, decent. Our package included access to the Sauna, Bathrobe, free premium parking, dinner and breakfast (optionally the room).

Breakfast was not the most exciting one and items seemed rather supermarket than what I would expect from a 4star place. - room for improvement. Nevertheless, all present to complete (intercontinental).

Dinner - due to covid only the 4 courses menu or dinner buffet had been available. Waiter are friendly but lacked a bit attention-level due to high work volume. Food was ok.

There are bunches of activities available for children (kindergarten, playground, swimming pool, ping pong table etc.).

Sauna - during covid - allows 6 people in the Finish sauna at the same time. Timeslot of 2 hours, to access the Spa area can be requested a day ahead.

The room and bed:
The Panaroma Suite has a long window, granting a lot of light and nice view over the parking lot and forrest.
The entire room seems newly equipped. A huge bathroom with a bath tub and rain shower - handicapped accessible.

Bed unfortunately is 180x200 cm with a center gap. Mattress was comfy. Flat TV which also allows the HDMI access (bring your ipad adaptor for netflix), free WiFi which was decently fast, while the hotel was quite full.
Small desk and three chairs to sit-down and relax after a day of hiking.

Nice hotel. Rooms are nice and the view is nice. The cocktails at the bar are the worst I've ever had though. But I'd say that's the only down side. Edit: so I'm back after a year and the bar is 100% better! Great drinks now!

This hotel was beautiful at some point I am sure. It looks like it hasn't been updated in at least 30 years. The staff in the bar was very very slow at taking orders and then at preparing the drinks, and not all of them were friendly. On check in, ask for at least one more pillow each, because your head will hit the (old) mattress when you lay down.

Pretty German styled hotel built on top of a hill. Architecture from 90's is breathing from everywhere but after all is is a really nice place with kind service. But beware not all of the employees can speak English, so make sure to check out some basic words and phrases in German. Rooms are small but cozy, pool and SPA also new and reconstructed.
