This is one of my kids' favorite places! We have taken advantage of all three core areas on which the Riekes Center focuses - nature programs, creative arts programs, and physical fitness programs at all different age levels, and we are so impressed! Their summer programs are awesome too. The strength of this organization are the amazing people who are involved as instructors and administrators. Our family has truly enjoyed getting to know the special people who run this place - Gary Riekes is the best!
The most welcoming and friendly atmosphere one could imagine; everyone is welcome, everyone is supported, and everyone is important! The teachers/coaches/student services staff all do a wonderful job in making the Riekes center the wonderful place it is.
I would call the ambiance/atmosphere of this place one of the most positive I've ever experienced. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. And the feeling is contagious! Work out hard, play music, experience nature - you name it, you will be inspired. I am.
