Its great place to go but the life guards are lazy, and I demand that if your 12 and up with a GREEN BAND AND YOU KNOW HOW TO SWIM YOU SHOULDNT NEED ADULT TO GET IN THE POOL .
IF your Yellow or Red you need an adult because you can't swim. Overall its fun and really hope someone who agree helps me spread this state and soon make it a rule

Have more facilities but front office lady Renee was very rude. She shout on customers with loud voice. Today one front office person gone inside and Pienee was talking to someone 3 feet away from front desk. I was waiting in the line for someone to back. She started to shout in loud voice go back I am having personal discussion. I said on. am waiting in the line.. she started to keep shouting continuously.. she not even ready to hear anything.
Totally Harassed by insane. Lot of people watched that and talked to me that she was the sister of someone and keep shouting on others.

I have referred this Branch to lot of friends and they joined. Now I told to them to avoid to go to front desk when that lady in work. Rest of them are nice people.

Well-equipped YMCA. On the older side, but has everything you need - including a pool (didn't catch how many lap lanes). Friendly staff. I was visiting from out of town and they hooked me up quickly with a free visitor pass (I'm a member of the Y in South Carolina). Many treadmills and good mix of free weights and machines.

Worth the monthly membership. Enjoying the variety of classes. Aqua Zumba is super fun- water and music and dance what a great combination! Gym is never over crowded when I have gone. Really enjoying going somewhere that has a gym, a pool and many classes to choose from all under one roof. Offers something for everyone of any age.

My son goes here for summer camp and he absolutely loves it. It's a relief to know you can trust your kids with somebody these days. He comes home excited and has tons of stories to tell me about things he did.

Both of my daughters attend the child care school there. The staff is great, friendly & professional. Although they have many teachers and volunteers, they all know the kids and treat them well. I also take advantage of the family events, pool and gym. They keep it all clean, neat and you can find friendly staff member everywhere. Love this place. If you're a parent, definitely sign up! this is more than a gym or a child care.

My second child 10 years passed is now at the Ridley YMCA. She has completed pre k and kindergarten. Like my older child 10 years prior she is enrolled in the summer program. What a difference 10 years makes. My older child couldn't wait to go and didn't want to leave. The staff was so attentive and receptive to all the kids needs. I couldn't of been happier. I wish I could say the same now.
On several occasions seems to be becoming more frequent I've been unnoticed and so has my child. When she arrived this morning I sat in the car and watched her standing in front of 3 people. I'd expect a greeting or something, nothing. I was really struggling. My daughter has asthma and dialy the meds come and go with us. Yesterday they were misplaced and I held up the car line waiting for her "RESCUE " INHALER to be located. Today at drop off I walked her up, she was signed in and asked if she could go to the bathroom. The staff let me know 2 days prior she had been going a lot and she was picked up, taken to doctors and test results will be in today. The response was " I cant take you to the potty every 15 minutes". I asked why she didn't go at home and 6 year old .... My reply was " I'll take the risk of my job being late and take her". Off we went. I have paid , no subsadatiions, not behind , never late. I kind of feel that I'm paying for a service that I'm not getting and you're working for my daughter and me. I'm in the service industry , automotive repair. Internally your cars treated like its mine , like my precious cargo is riding in it but that's also what my employer requires of me. Lately I've been feeling not mistreated just not treated at all and let down knowing what the vibe was 10 years ago
