Richmond Hill County Club Review

Attended this Country Club for a wedding. The grounds are beautiful. The wedding was held in a clearing a short way from the outside pool and patio. The staff was amazing. The patio area was well kept. The interior of the club is also beautiful. There were a variety of paintings and sculptures throughout. The ball room where the reception was held had a full wall of windows looking out over the grounds and a door that opened onto a pleasant porch. Overall, the event was phenomenal.

Great course, great condition. Challenging but not too crazy

I have attended a wedding ceremony and banquet at the same site. The hall is beautiful for ceremony. The size of the banquet hall is fair enough for about 15 tables.

Place has been known for its reputation high quality and high class members, I am a member and love this place

Great meeting rooms for our groups seminar, lunch is good and staff very accommodating to our requests.

I've been here for a couple different functions. I'm not sure of the total allure of joining a country club. I could see why if it was still the 80's.

The staff seem nice and pleasant. But they really need a full overhaul on the place. The whole place needs to be updated to the current standards of halls and upper style amenities.

I'm sure they will do it as soon as they see their members average age is over 60.

As I said, overall a nice place, but it needs updating.

Attended a friend's wedding ceremony here. The setting of the hall was not satisfactory. Chairs are too close to one another.

The club I am member of for 20 years.
The only all-included club. Once you paid your membership fees - you have access to tennis courts. I can play virtually every day , as much as body holds. However, if you play only once a week, the all-in fees might be too expensive ( 300$) .
All in all, this is the best club in the area for the money.

They do a very nice job of putting on business meetings with lunches. Our group has held a number of lunch & learn seminars here over the years, but recently they began to add a bogus service charge on top of their room rental fee which just rubs me the wrong way. I always considered slipping on "cash grab" fees as underhanded and a dishonourable way of doing business and gouging customers. Furthermore, although it is generally accepted that a "service charge" is added to the price charged for food, people believe this money goes to the servers. At RHCC, they pocket this money so really it is just a further hidden upcharge to the prices they post for their meal services. Ethically questionable, definitely not above board.

Love this place! The gym and steam room are my favourite, but the whole club is really nice! Everything is so clean and fresh.

One of my favourite places to relax, enjoy playing sports, eat a delicious meal, and spend quality time with family and friends! On occasion, I will bring my business associates over for meetings and it works quite well for that too.

Beautiful country club venue for golf, tennis, and private catered functions.

RHCC is a fantastic club offering delicious food, state-of-the-art fitness facilities and classes, a relaxing outdoor pool environment, great tennis and squash courts, and wonderful spa services. I don't have any reason to use their kids programs but they're extremely popular. I enjoy going for their indoor golf station, gym, sauna and steam room, and massage therapy, before going to the bistro for an amazing lunch.

Membership is expensive.

Went there for a wedding. First time ever at a wedding where the beef was undercooked (bit too rare), which I prefer over the typical overcooked.

Hall has too much echo and couldn't hear any of the speeches. Other than that, hall was well air conditioned and nice.

Great location, especially enjoyed the foods and the services. Ideal location for events, workshops, etc.

Simply beautiful; the place, the staff and the food.

Went to a catered even here in the banquet hall - good food and pretty scenic.

Had my senior prom there, decorations were nice and the balcony was great for taking pictures. We weren't allowed down into the pool area or gazebo to take pictures, and there are only 6 or so washroom stalls. Food is absolutely atrocious with dry chicken, steamed vegetables, undercooked rice and warm cheesecake.

Great place to have a wedding! Friend just got married here and food was on point!

Nice clean facility. Outdoor pool area is very well done.

I hosted my wedding here in March 2018 and the venue was great except for the service from the wait staff.

Particular servers gave attitude and when extra food (from guests that didn't show up) was not distributed among the rest of the guests from the same table. My guests with allergies were accommodated overall but some servers did not communicate clearly, so as for precaution, my guests had to always ask. The last thing you want is to cause a scene. Also, I was very disappointing that the extra food wasn't distributed among the rest of my guests when I've paid for it. Given that the service fee is built into the cost of your contract, 18% and taxed, I expected nothing but great service for my guests.

Danielle was my coordinator for everything up to and the day of the wedding. It was easy communicating with her via email and she's very responsive.

The hall is beautiful and it is surrounded by greenery. The location is perfect that it's not too far away. It is just off the Highway 407.

I ordered the traditional 10 course Chinese menu for most guests. The vegetarians were delighted to find that they had just as many dishes as the regular menus in comparison to other Chinese restaurants or caterers.

This is a great place if you'd like to host an event. It's nice it's clean it's very Tastefully decorated. I've been here on a few occasions and I think it just gets better with age. I really like how they maintain the facilities. If you're lucky enough to have an event in the summer when it's nice weather that have a really nice Courtyard as well. This is one of the oldest buildings in Richmond Hill and it's still running. I think this place will be around for a very long time.

8 indoor tennis courts, 12 outdoors, indoor and outdoor pools plus many extras

What a beautiful location to work out and connect with people. Saturday mornings are also great if you want to hang out and work on some things or study between workouts and events. The food is also delicious! Great experiences every time I go.

Good food for our conference.... too bad about the coffee and desserts ... not good.

Gym has plenty of accessories, pools are solid, great tennis courts (in and outdoor), squash courts, spa etc. Massive gulf course as well but never used it

When there for company's dinner and golf lessons. The golf lesson was great. The club peo made the game simple and fun. While on the range they help with your technique. I had so much. I may take up the golf.
The dinner was excellent. The staff was courteous and friendly. Our waitress was terriffic. The food was delicious.

The pool had a problem with a dehumidifier twice this year and it's impossible to use it to due to high humidity. In the beginning of the year for 2-3 weeks and now it has been down for again for 1 week so far. They charge a very high fee for the membership but provide a horrible customer service giving their customers a run around. Michael Pasichny- Director sets a great example as well by providing zero incentive to remain a member of the club and clearly lacks customer service skills.

To quiet. I'm more of a party person. I like more variety and entertainment. This is more for tiger Woods.

Stay away from RHCC in Tennis, they are all about money, poor tennis and very low results!!!
