Lovely here. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. They were understanding as I was with my little one. Clean screen and comfortable seating. They seem to have a nice selection of snacks to buy too!

Rich Mix does great community events and has a comfortable cinema. The only thing that I would suggest is that they have staggered heights seating in their smaller cinemas, like their main auditorium, as it otherwise becomes difficult to see the screen when you are further back in the smaller screens.
What can you say about a cinema Was nice had a screen and seats where comfortable !!! Had popcorn and drink so cant fault that The price was reasonable too !!!
I went to screen 3 in the Rix Mix... the screen was ridiculously small and the sound was way to low. Moreover, they keep the lights on during the movie!! I went to talk to one employee because I thought they forgot to turn them off but he told me they never do!!
So it was really disappointing for me to pay 8 pounds for that. I don't know why they call that a cinema, it was more like this kind of projection room you have in school when you're a kid.
When you need a place to hang your feet for a few hours then this is it. Apart from cinema, live music and theatre shows there is a quiet Indian restaurant, called Indigo, where you can chill out in the free WiFi, and watch the pavement walk past.
Rich Mix is a such a great venue - with such a varied programme there really is something for everyone there - music, spoken word, dance, scratch theatre, workshops...the list really is endless and it is definitely one of the best arts and cinema centre's this side of town. Personally I am a huge fan of the fairly new-ish comedy nights that they put on (Dong and Knock2Bag). Always attracting star acts like Cardinal Burns, Doc Brown and Jarred Christmas, they're great to go to for a fun night out! Would advise you all to check it out.
I attended the 3pm showing of The Second Best Marigold Hotel on Saturday 28th February, approximately four minutes before the end the projector clicked off. Eventually someone came and stated there had been a power cut, when we asked.for a refund he very rudely stated that there would be no refund laughing! Extremely unprofessional, no customer service, emergency power throughout the building did not power the projector, no visible management and recommend no one ever goes there should they too be subjected to such a bad experience.
I really like this venue, they give out regular comedy tickets for free from showfilmfirst here. What I like is that the hall immediately on the left as you walk in the entrance, is quite spacious but cozy at the same time. There are some places with restricted views but you can try and dodge those. The bar is pretty cool and staff here are really friendly.
The crowd are usually quite young, hip, and likes their alcohol ;D
I tried the cafe to the right of the entrance as well, decent food, noone tells you off for sitting at tables when you haven't ordered yet or are plainly waiting for friends.
Not tried the cinema yet, will have to come again sometime. What spoils it is that this place is slightly out of the way for me to get to, need to change trains a few times ...! It's not super close to the station but walkable distance! Or a short bus ride.
Went there to see Liniker e os Caramelows on the 9th of June. Thumbs up for the acoustics, loud and clear! And the fans on the sides is just a brilliant idea! Btw I recommend grabbing dinner at the Indian next to it
I visited an amazing exhibition here. I came here for the Tati: Emerging Bengali Textiles and Fashion exhibition and had a really enjoyable visit. The cozy lower ground room had a small number of exhibits, all of which were incredibly intriguing and a majority of the artists/designers were around for talk to which was a nice bonus.
Honestly the best cinema. They have a membership scheme for under twenty fives which is 5 pound tickets always at any time, unlike other places which may offer discounted tickets for young people on Mondays for example. Popcorn is deliciously salty to the right degree and prices are alright considering area and competition. They have wonderful events carefully curated, as well as support for local artists and musicians. Lovely place and great for any events.
It is a good place for small concerts .I went to see the beautiful Angolan singer and I liked the place clean bathroom , have bar inside . Transports in the dor
The staff who work here are always friendly and helpful, there are always events on, including free ones for all age ranges and it's always a pleasure, both to visit and play in.
Good multi-purpose venue, cinema, restaurant and event space. Visited to see some great Lebanese short films run by the awesome Shorts On Tap team. The seats (in the event space, not the cinema) were way too close together though - it was like being on a dodgy budget airline!
One of the few arts venues in Shoreditch which thinks about local people as well as hipsters! Cinemas, theatre and gallery space. Programming is a mixed bag but you will find some gems.
Love this place. A multi-faceted arts and cultural centre. Reasonably priced cinema with comfortable seating, friendly staff and a selection of old classics and new movies. Would choose this over any chain cinema every day of the week!
