Coffeehouse is surprisingly good considering it is run entirely by college students. It is also way cheaper than most coffeeshops, while maintaining quality drinks with occasional specials. The cortado was pretty strong, and, as with a lot of the coffee here, had a very dark taste. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting campus looking for something to perk them up.

Excellent student run place. Always busy and the coffee is amazing. The one with the taste of pecan is my favorite pricewise is very affordable. If you bring your own mug you get your coffee for $1 which is a great deal if we consider the quality of it! I'm new in Houston but this place is already one of my favorite!

Coffee is great! and prices are low compared with other coffee shops. They have a discount for bringing your own mug and a free coffee of your choice with the purchase of ten. It is also, a comfortable workspace. It has books to read. It also offers cultural events, like recitals or poetry reading, during the academic calendar.

Cheapest and best coffee drinks ever!! The staff are so nice and cool. If you bring your own mug you get a discount. I have spent like so much time/money here. All worth it. The special drinks are very good and so are their Italian sodas.

this place is dope.....a campus watering hole, if you will. great for people with all kinds of preferences. the food is pretty nice, too (might i recommend the peach danish?). the music here can be a wide variety, everything from lil boosie to spoken word to hamilton: the musical.

i have a cousin who lives in another part of texas, and i wanted to wish her a happy birthday on time each year but i had to write her birthday down because my memory sucks, but what doesn't suck is rice coffeehouse: five outta five stars.

Cheap, tastes fine, BUT SLOW AS HELL.

Cheap, tastes fine, BUT SLOW AS HELL.

If you are planning to order something other than black coffee, just say goodbye to your precious "at least" 20 minutes.

The last time, it was not that crowded, ordered chai and cappuccino, took 20 minutes for them to prepare it.

If you are in hurry, do not bother.

1. Pros:

1. Pros:
A. Delicious coffee
B. Reasonable price
C. Abundant outlets inside & outside
D. Fast free WiFi inside & outside
E. Not very cold
F. Parking in Greenbriar Lot which costs $2/day.

2. Cons: may because the cafe belongs to the students here, noise is all around.

Located in the Rice student center, this is a real hidden gem. The student staff is nice, the coffee was great and (for white noise lovers) the ambiance facilitates some healthy productivity. Open late too!

Cheapest cold brew near me! They've got real cold brew too (brewed cold), not just fake iced coffee "cold brew (Hot brewed poured over ice). Plus the barista was super friendly to me. Will definitely go back!

*ALL-TIME FAV* Visiting Rice? Come here for the best publicly-accessible peephole into Rice undergraduate life. Super relaxed indoor space, stunning outdoor space, $1.75 cold brew. What more could you possibly ask for?

It can get really crowded at random times, like 3:50 PM on a Tuesday.

The best coffee ever. I had a double shot latte and also bought a Nutty B. Perfect on a day like today. The line was about 10 long, but it moved very quickly, the coffee was ready without much wait time. Parked on the street outside the RMC and took less than 15 mins door to door at peak time, just before 9a
