Revival Market Review

Does any of the staff taste the side orders? I tried 3 on 2/1 and the best one was tasteless. The other two were awful. The ginger lime slaw only tasted like fish sauce. I would really liked to have been warned it had fish sauce in it. The potato salad - I don't know what it tasted like other than vinegar. Mustard already has vinegar in it. Why would you add apple cider vinegar as well as sherry vinegar? There was some other flavors I could not identify. The potatoes themselves had no flavor. Red potatoes are waxy and do not absorb flavor.
I ordered a BLT that would have been good but the bacon was thick and hard...very difficult to chew. If you are going serve thick bacon, it must be crisp. Otherwise it is just hard.

This is how you do a casual restaurant. Everything about this place is amazing and if I could give above five stars I would. Firstly, the food they serve here is some of the best things a mouth can experience. I've been going here for around one year and have yet to be disappointed with the quality of the food. Secondly the customer service is on point. Everyone who works here is friendly and always happy to help the customer with any issues they might have. Lastly the selection of meat they sell at the market is always fresh. I can not honestly recommend this place enough. Revival is incredible and I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Met a friend before work for coffee and breakfast. Great service with a nice variety of choices. Some unique options to give Revival Market its own character.

This is a great lunch spot in the Heights offering unique sandwiches, soups and salads. There is a sandwich and salad combo, but if you ask, they'll do a sandwich/soup combo for you...and their soups are really nice. My favorite is the mushroom soup, which is almost like a cream of mushroom. It's delicious. Get here early on weekdays if you're going for lunch because the seating inside is a bit limited. It's also a great spot to sit down and have a quick coffee or pick up a few groceries. They have a great selection of meats and cheeses.

Revival Market is always excellent! The food is amazing and the service is too! Revival is the perfect brunch and lunch spot!

The food was pretty good and waiters were quick and on point. Lots of seating at tables available and a nice bar setup. I thought it was strange that there were only a couple other groups eating at the restaurant when my group went on a weekend night..!!!

Ordered 2 plain bagels to go for my son after school. Totally stale ( not a problem because I can toast them ). Not plain, was given everything bagels. Worst part $13.00

I was pretty bad. Waited 20 minutes for a tostada . Then I order an over price coffee and the two tables next to me said that their new Orleans coffee was not good. I spent more time waiting for my food and coffee then it took me to eat it. I just think this place is over price and not worth it.

It has a tasty atmosphere. I will most definitely dine in again.

DO NOT order the brisket plate. For $12 dollars you get some potato salad and some very thinly sliced brisket with so much fat on it that you will wonder if they look at the food they serve before it. The absolute worst plate of food I have ever witnessed!!!! Coffee is good, skip the sandwiches and whatnot, they are definitely unhealthy to say the least.

Get the Buttermilk Biscuit Sandwich! You re life will be better for it! The scrambled egg is perfectly done and the side of potatoes salted just slightly. Was craving some solid breakfast food and happy I found this little place

Try the Honey Lavender Latte! Great stuff, especially with Soy milk. Attentive staff. The whole place has a rustic feel.

My husband and I gave this place a try for lunch today. The cashier that took our order was not super friendly. She seemed annoyed and was a bit short with us. We ordered 2 coffees, they came out fast and tasted great! I got the garlic and herb chicken sandwich and my husband got the breakfast sandwich to-go. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his meal, but mine was disgusting. My sandwich was absolutely slathered in aioli, the lettuce was brown and wilted, my bread was so soggy, and the chicken tasted boiled. Priced at $16, I expected so much more :(

Neat concept, great food, the grocery items seem a little overpriced, but I suppose that's what you pay for artisan craft.

I visited Revival Market on Wednesday May 23, 2018 at approximately 8:20AM. As I walked I approached the counter and stood behind a lady who was then ordering. Once ken (male with a long sandy beard) finished her order he looked at me and walked to the back. As I was waiting for him to assist me he kept wiping the counters and doing other things. After waiting a few minutes he asked me if I want to order something to go. He didn t greet me or was kind to me like he had been with the customer in front of me. I question whether the pigmentation of my skin had a role in it. I took it as I wasn t welcome to eat in the establishment as others were. Someone else ended up assisting me however he kept staring at me while I was standing there waiting to pick up my order. I felt extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. I would ve just preferred him tell me he didn t want to assist me because I was African-American that to ignore me and treat me beneath other customers. When he finally gave me my order he didn t hand it to me as he did the other customers he slide it across the counter.

All in all I wouldn t recommend Revival Market and I don t appreciate being discriminated against.

The best biscuit and gravy ever. The eggs were cooked to perfection.

We loved this place 3 years ago. The menu changes left us disappointed yesterday and doubtful we ll come back. The crispy potatoes were excellent, but the roast beef sandwich was very unsatisfactory. No Ruben or BLT on their menu anymore.

Service & Precations were top notch. Breakfast Revival was simple but good. Biscuit is layered & Croissant is butter.

Specialty meat market with breakfast and lunch options. Limited seating and parking but doesn't seem too hectic from the times I've been there. Highly recommend their Revival tostada for a quick brunch item that's not too light or heavy.

Neighborhood bistro with a good ambience. I had a lamp gyro and it was excellent. The coffee was good service good. It is a good place to be on a relaxed weekend.

One of my favorite places to go for coffee or a meal. The people are super nice but parking can be a bit of a challenge. I recommend going early if possible or after the lunch crowd.

Fantastic coffee bar. Offer some of the finest meats in the city and really represent local vendors.

Chicken Sandwhich was perfect! Lunch and atmosphere were lovely. Would highly recommend and will be back again.

over $10 dollars for a "vietnamese' sandwich. I am not so sure. :)

The real star is the meat, but the cafe has a full menu for breakfast and lunch

The food is really good. It s a little over priced but it s really, really good quality. Every once in a while they have kolaches and they re amazing.

What a great neighborhood joint. Excellent, unique, compact menu. Specialty, high end meat market is tasty and they have have great coffee/espresso beans...much more flavorful and aromatic than most places...and me knows me some great coffee houses n Htown. I will b back to try many more plates here...enjoy!

A bit expensive, the only plus is that the pork breakfast sausage tastes like it was literally made in my back yard on a cold winter day.

I have been here twice and both times I have received extremely poor service with an attitude. Sloppy , watery cappuccino and served in to go cup even though I ordered for in house service, same problem with the cookies, ordered cookies for there and was given them in a bag, when I asked for a plate for the children , I received attitude.

A really good breakfast place with lots of coffee and breakfast options. I am giving them 4 stars because despite being there multiple times and letting them know, they always end up serving mildly hot hot chocolate . I mean it s called Hot chocolate for a reason . Other than that It s really good and I d suggest everyone to give them a try.

Don't order the brisket sausage plate! 3 pieces of fried salami with some hard a** crumbly dried up "brisket" TERRIBLE!
