So happy there is the last good ramen nearby! We stopped to eat on Sunday night and it looks like they have just been open for more than a week. Iza's soft start runs through the first week of March. I think their menu and price are still changing at the soft opening, so the ramen is actually 14 / 14.5 when we are there (relative to the shot of $13 / 13.5 in one of the latest comments). It was quiet and we quickly sat at 6 when we arrived, not a long wait for any guests who came while we were there. I can imagine this place packed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights!

We have mustard octopus and chicken appetizers - all solid choices, chicken nuggets are large and juicy. Spicy iza ramen is great - rich and hearty broth, not too salty, just the right amount of kick. The noodles are chewy, and the plates are coming when the pork is almost separated.

I look forward to trying the rest of the menu soon!

The food in the bistro was quite good. It wasn't cheap and neither was the quality. I didn't like having to go to multiple bars to get a round of drinks as only certain bars served certain drinks. Another visit I had a pizza, it was tasty, but was undercooked.

On Saturday we held a The High Tea party for 16 in the Bel Cibo Restaurant, to celebrate our Mums 90th Birthday. It was a very enjoyable experience.
Jenny was extremely helpful and accommodating during the booking process.
Jordan and the other staff were brilliant on the day; efficient, friendly and very helpful.

The food was beautifully presented and delicious. (Those mini savoury tarts melted in your mouth).

Thank you to everyone for making our Mother's special day a huge success. Pat had a wonderful afternoon.

Kind regards
Mark, Brett, Christina Jones & family

Go for lunch every Friday & it would be nice to have the choice of Pork for the roast but every time we come it s Beef. We have changed days a couple of times just to see if we get a different choice & beef again except today was lamb yay!!!! A little disappointed with the service, the lady taking the orders was too slow to every one order she took her colleague had served 8 orders in the time it took her to take one. Her colleague also should have informed some of the people he served that they needed to wait in line because there was a big group they thought they could just piggy back off each other in line.

The new cafe area is highly overpriced for a selection of sandwiches & rolls etc that really aren t that appealing. The rolls are made up & piled up in the window left there for a lengthy time - (we arrived at firestone too late for lunch so we had to eat here) at that time of day the food should be made fresh!

Zero Customer service/ common courtesy. Went down for lunch Friday- grabbed a menu, a coke and sat down to decide, 5 minites later to be told the kitchen shut (3minutes ago).
Went to see Akmal Saturday- Rang earlier to confirm not sold out. Arrived and reception staff was on break- she had to rerurn to sell us tickets. Placed infront of other customers (blocking their view) a whole free table. Disappointed!!! Luckily Akmal was great!

We visit the club often when we visit Sydney. It has the feel of 5star hotel, spacious, trendy, high end interiors, yet friendly and comfortable to hang out and catch up with friends and family over great meal options and drinks. So very envious of these great clubs everywhere in Sydney. When is Melbourne going to catch up, I wonder? Friday evenings often miss this RWC to go out to.

There are 6 snooker tables. Excellent as most clubs are removing their tables to make way for more poker machines. If you love snooker the tables and the friendly social competition every Monday night are a bonus. If you love food forget the bistro and go to Aunty Eights - the Vietnamese cuisine is excellent and consistently of a high standard. There are bands playing for free entertainment every Friday and Saturday nights so you can always hear some music and have a dance. The quality of the bands varies greatly ranging from ok to excellent. The club also presents some good shows but as a local I find often their ticket prices are a tad high - especially for older performers and covers but if you are selective you can find some good stuff occasionally. For example John Waters doing Through a Glass Onion was 45 dollars a ticket and was world class entertainment. Trivia on a Tuesday night is good.

We arrived to attend my father's 80th birthday din...

We arrived to attend my father's 80th birthday dinner but couldn't enter as guests because the club said we were within their 15km catchment. We live 18km away by road but they measure as the crow flies. We are not crows, we are people. While we waited in the foyer for other elderly members of our party to arrive to sign us in, they would not allow one of our family in to use the bathroom. He had to leave us and find a public toilet 10 minutes away. I regard this as completely lacking in humanity. While this was happening the sports room had a roof leak and they were contacting SES volunteers to fix it for them. Our party had 2 active SES members in it. It seems fine for the club to be contacting community organisations to work for free instead of their own builders, yet they won't allow these same community workers to use a bathroom while they wait for the rest of their family to arrive. I gather these club rules are in place as a means to increase financial membership levels, but they clearly backfired here. I don't think we'll be back.
