Ate dinner at the casual restaurant and they ran out of coffee in the tower but wouldn't go get coffee for us from downstairs so their customer service isn't the best, but the view and atmosphere were nice.

It is a spectacular viewpoint located on the top floor of the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dallas, TX. Here you can enjoy a 360 * view of the city, cafeteria, restaurant, games room and drawings for children, traveling exhibitions of works of art, comfortable seats to chat, etc. There is also a professional photography service available to give yourself a good memory (they send it to you by email). On the ground floor there is an elegant souvenir shop very cool!
If you re visiting Dallas, you probably cannot say you really visited unless you went to the JSK museum or if you visited the Reunion Tower. It s a must do thing but for $17 to simply look out on the view, I was hoping for more. The views are fantastic however and the staff, Mara particularly, was very chatty.
Cool experience, but kind of overpriced. We called ahead to validate some details and they failed to mention the bar was closed for a special event. So then we drove all the way out there and they wouldn't let us up.
It's definitely an awesome view. It's a little pricey, in my opinion, for what you get since it's just a viewpoint. But the workers were nice and it wasn't crowded.
Vantage birds eye view point to see 360 degrees of Dallas .best place to observe how Dallas downtown buildings was changing by decades and to know the basic history of buildings and places in downtown
Came here for a special occasion and received excellent service from all the staff. The view from here is great and changes as you dine while the restaurant makes one rotation per hour.
Pros: the view of downtown Dallas while having dinner is spectacular, especially if you can catch the sunset. The ambience is equally perfect for a romantic evening, along with the attentive wait staff. The restaurant is set up in a way that makes you feel like you're having a private dinner even when you're not.
Cons: the food was average for an upscale establishment such as this. While the szechuan steak was very good, the flavors did not come through very well as described in the menu. The crab cake lacked natural crab flavor. The most disappointing was the fried red snapper, which was well fried but flavorless unless dipped in an accompanying sauce. This is fine, except the sauce was overly salty. While the presentation appears very appetizing, it was very difficult to enjoy. The brussel sprouts were a bit too buttery for us and we could not finish. The yuzu cheesecake was very unique and was the only thing we could rave about.
This is a very nice place to take a date or for a special occasion, but taper your expectations for the food. Perhaps the sushi menu is better but we did not get a chance to try it.
A must-visit place in Dallas.... provides a excellent 360 degree view of the city and areas around it... of course it was pretty darn windy and it was freakin cold af cuz it was like 35 that day (on the ground)... but it was really worth it... the elevator was kinda fun haha... just dont take the train cuz u have to walk through a really dangerous part of Dallas. Must admit the Space needle in Seattle is better
My boyfriend and I enjoyed this trip so much! There were many large tables at the bar which only had 2 people so it would be better if there were more smaller tables instead. Loved it though!
Parking sucks! We were stuck trying to exit the parking lot at the Reunion towers for one hour. Finally, security came and opened the gates. #GetItTogether
Always a great place for a date or to take people that are visiting - of course one gripe that applies to everything ever in existence is that tickets are a bit pricey.
The information installation inside is boring and not extensive enough. The bite can be stunning and one here a nice overview of the Dallas area. Parking at the tower is too expensive, but there are more parking lots in 5 min walking distance.
Views great.. if you want good food go to TruLucks. Left disappointed in food, having paid $22 for bacon wrapped scallops I expected 3 or 4 when in reality I received 2 covered in burnt bacon. The red fish was fishy and didn't taste fresh. All around let down.
Way overpriced. Good views but definitely not worth the high entrance fee. Bar at the viewing deck left unstaffed for over 30minutes, so we ended up leaving without being able to have a drink.
Awesome views of the city. We arrived at 5:00 pm and got seats at the restaurant bar. If you are a patron of the restaurant, you don't pay the $17 entrance fee for the view deck. We enjoyed an appetizer and round of drinks while overlooking Dallas.
Very bad experience with staff. My phone got stolen at this place and security staff didn t help me out. After arguing with them they confirmed somebody picked up my phone number, but then they didn t help me out to provide much information. Very bad day it was.
This place is amazing. Haven't been here since I was a kid and I took my 8 year old son. He loved every minute of it and so did I. Will definitely return.
We came for a scout outing and I was not impressed. For the discount price we received it was almost worth it, but for the regular price certainly not. Maybe it's great for those simply visiting, but for ones that live locally it's not something to do several times. I also had a 1yo asleep in a stroller that I had to wake up and make extremely irritable bc no strollers are allowed. So then I'm left carrying a screaming baby for 30+ min bc of some asinine rule. Will not be going back for sure. Not worth money, time, our lack of accommodation for people with young children.
