The staff were very professional, polite, and knowledgeable. Anything I needed was completed in a timely manner. I am grateful for the nurses and doctors that helped me through Covid and got me through this scary situation.
I have had my first delivery in this hospital and I was amazed with their service. The doctor and nurses were wonderful. The food was excellent. Overall my experience was delightful, There was no complaint at all.
I came to the hospital in an ambulance, and did not have a mask. I was carried through the ER without one. Saw Dr and nurse without one.. I had to ask for a mask. With COVID being on the rise, a hospital should be more equipped with masks and better situated for situations like this. A patient should not have to ask for a mask, that should have been provided when I first entered into the facility.
My outpatient stay was excellent. Staff was professional and personal and communicative. Post-Op Recovery was especially pleasurable as Mary was attentive, humorous and straight forward with expectations and made sure I was progressing as expected. Overall the visit seemed very seamless and efficient.
Stoke Jan. 1998. Rarely show any signs of stroke. June 1998 started volunteering in Sam Day Surgery and still there. Well taken care of. Various orthopedic issues including total knee replacement May 2019. Prostate cancer seed implant Oct. 2007. Latest procedure as always taken care of in an outstanding manner. Nurses are the best.
The nurses and hospital staff were very attentive to my needs during my over night stay and surgery recovery process. My thanks to everyone. I am very appreciative for their kindness, professionalism and team work. I also must not forget to thank the members of the food services staff. The food was great and definitely helped pick up my spirits and start the recovery process.
Its very comforting to know that you have such a professional health services organization so close by my home here in the Reston community.
Staff was very personable and professional. My total left knee replacement went very well. The facilities are first rate. From check-in to release everything was done very well.
The nursing staff on the fifth floor of the hospital were excellent; they were always professional and let me know what they were doing. The doctors and nurse practitioners were also very helpful in answering questions. The only reason I gave four stars is that the wait time in the ER was over three hours. I was in pain that entire time. Although they did an initial check of vitals, and a doctor spoke to me for a couple of minutes within the first 15 minutes I was there, I was sat in a hallway for the next two hours and 45 minutes. Finally I was taken back to an ER examination room and a great ER nurse worked with me to get me on morphine and take all my vitals.
Well experience started off unpleasant because NOBODY told me that at 6am there was ONLY one entrance to hospital. We parked in garage and by the time I walked around building to valet side entrance I was drenched because the rain was tremendous that morning. Nobody said I had to use valet side entrance, only that it was an option. Or I would have at least had my wife drop me off at valet and only she would have been drenched. Your staff checking me in were efficient. Other than watching someone who came in after me get called before me by the nurse that part went well. Why do people who check in AFTER you go before you baffles me. Once in my room being prepped for surgery your staff was tremendous. Everyone so caring and good to me. We had a good time laughing it up. Post op I waited in two areas and the two nurses were awesome taking care of me. I had forgotten how comfortable nurses are with dealing with any bodily function. Wow, she just did whatever was needed if you get my drift! Day after surgery someone called me to ask how I was doing and answered questions. Don't want another any kind of surgery ever, but IF I have to have one I'd use your hospital again no question.
Our visit at Reston Hospital Center was extraordinary. Everyone that we encountered-from the volunteer in the front gate all the way to the doctor and nurses made our visit incredible. We were treated with kindness and love. It was the best hospital experience I have every had in my life. Thank you so much.
