Restaurant Twist Review

Very good but too expensive for the quantity on the plates

Several menu choices unavailable, gluten-free choice very poor.

Breakfast potatoes are good, but generally breakfasts are too expensive for quantities (especially when it comes to meat). I can understand that the profit margins are meager, but some restaurants offer more. I like that they serve coffee caraphes rather than just cups.

I would have put 4 stars however if the waitress had given me my change. On a lunch at around $ 7, she kept more than $ 3 tip (we are talking about 43% tip), without EVER giving me my change. She quickly left without ever giving it back to me. It was already a very ordinary service, but that is the height. If you go to this restaurant, pay with the card! That way, you can choose for yourself the percentage that you will leave.

PS: Since the owner wants to know, it was a lady of a certain age. It's been a few weeks anyway. It was around noon and I was sitting in the right part of the restaurant when we got home.

Very nice presentation of dishes, beautiful atmosphere we were several and the service was fast. On the other hand my plate of shrimp kind popcorn left to be desired. The others enjoyed their meal

Very good service, the atmosphere is good. The prices are a little too high for this kind of restaurant.

We will probably never stay there again. Hot lasagna on the top, cold inside and poutine of an execrable taste. The fries were not ... fried, they were very floury and they bathed in the sauce. Price: 25.75 $ with two coffees. The waitress was friendly and could not fault the service. Fortunately we had only half portions and we were not very hungry! Do not make the detour, so go to the first fast-food come it will probably be better.

We ate there today at noon time. The food was ok ... but it was understaffed. We waited more than 30 minutes before the waitress took our order. The restaurant was full. The waitress did her best. The other times when our group had eaten there, the service had been better.

I spent several years in Sherbrooke but I had never been to Twist. I was surprised. The breakfasts were good, big and cheap, they are equipped for babies (pencils, drawings, chairs), and the service was courteous. A bit long to get the plates, but everything always looks long with two hungry toddlers ahah (10-15 min). First time I like a pancake in a restaurant for lunch! Very good
