Ate North Sea fish with some type of chips, Jerusalem artichokes, browned butter with capers, shallots, apple and boiled potatoes. A veritable culinary sensation, extremely good. Highly recommended.

The first time was fantastic and in my own topty of the restoration experiences I've had in my life.
I was therefore looking forward to visiting again - this time with the company for our annual Christmas lunch. Had I not been there before I know that I will never go there again. Because it was very disappointing and somewhat poor experience:
The food we got for the Christmas lunch was decidedly poor.
- The appetizer with fish had a strange taste which did not indicate that the raw material was not completely fresh.
- The sauce for the main course was so strong that it completely ruined the dining experience. The accessories included were very little
- The service was unplugged and seemed inexperienced. It is difficult when there are many guests, but food and drink items were not followed
- We had bought a free bar, but the drinks served were of poor quality. No idea if it's due to raw materials, inexperience in standing a bar or what the cave was wrong.
Overall, not worth the money it cost and it is in sharp - yes almost glowing contrast - for the first visit I had. We are not coming back as a company and I am not sure if I will sacrifice private money on it myself

The food was average or above. The dessert was lovely and the service was great. The waiting time between appetizers, main course and dessert was quite too long, hence only 3 stars for now.
We celebrated a birthday here with a three course dinner with wine menu. We were 8 people. High quality of service and food. Our little 3-year-old was well received, although the restaurant is aimed at adults. A little high-class.

Lovely newly opened restaurant and it was clear on the staff, but they just couldn't answer it, they found out. We got the fish & chips English style, with light sauces and it was really delicious and the portion was adequate, we got beer, homemade strawberry / lime juice and water, without being ripped off. Beautiful building with nice space between the tables also on the large terrace and nice toilets.

Tried the restaurant twice and unfortunately both visits have been mediocre at best. Friendly staff and a nice outdoor area, but the food is average.
I have written with SMAEK over their FB page and unfortunately experienced a great lack of service memory and customer coverage. I got flabby answers when I just asked if I had to share a meal with my boyfriend in their restaurant as I can't eat their main courses, and at the same time I advocate fighting food waste. To this I get the answer that I must not share, and can eat a starter if I can not eat a main course alone. I have never had a problem in sharing a meal as a couple, and I think it is appalling that SMAEK is so petty in this situation.
I therefore recommend not stone.

It's quite right that I asked if I had to share a brunch with someone else, since I can't eat that much - I also wrote that I would of course buy drinks next door and not use free juice and coffee which is included in the offer. In theory, it's the equivalent of going out with a friend where he eats brunch, and I buy a soda because I'm not so hungry. SMAEK writes that this is not acceptable to them, to which I ask whether you should not share another dish with them, for example a lunch / evening dish if you should like it? In addition I get the answer that it should not. I have never eaten in a place where there are restrictions on sharing his food with a partner or friend ...
That SMAEK chooses to write (in their reply in here) that it is not about food games, but that I will not pay for their product is their opinion - since they have restrictions on whether to share food on SMAEK, I do not think that there is a great focus on neither food games nor customer service.

An impressive building with industrial character interior. SMAEK has created the perfect balance to give us a really warm welcome.
The staff were incredibly nice, receptive and caring for us. Despite many dining guests and tables to watch, they took their time and made us feel like we were the only ones there.
We didn't have to wait that long for our food at all. The waitress presented the food in a very elegant way when she brought it out. And it was ridiculously good, solely the best chicken tartlet I've ever had. My husband also had his expectations exceed by margin.
The portions are big, neither I nor my partner could finish our food.
We were expecting SMAEK to be nice but not quite as luxurious. But SMAEK is the only reason to return to Aalborg. Good food in a super nice atmosphere! Visit!
Py then where do I start, I was with my wife and brother we ordered and were all inedible food, a menu where the steak was so tough that both teeth and stomach came in overtime potatoes tasted of old grease and the salad was too old has since never experienced anything like it

Varied menu where most people can find something they like. There is good taste in the food and drinks are not the worst either. There is a bit of noise in the room so it can sometimes be difficult to have a conversation.

2 Ribs Burger and fries in Smeak's Take Away. Have to say you have regretted your purchase. Mc. Donald would have been substantially better and cheaper. Pomfritter was minium fried 2 times and cold and we live right next door. It's a pity you can't put a picture in here.

A really nice place. The food is good and available at a reasonable price. The same can be said about the bottle of wine we got. "El Circo" a nice tasting wine for sensible that goes hand in hand with Smaek's beef tatar and Asian prochetta

Had a very mediocre restaurant experience. The appetizer tasted okay, but the service was not friendly and despite our many attempts to pull a smile out of the waiters, no one came. The main course was a cooked risotto most reminiscent of rice porridge. Fine and aesthetic food, but the taste could not follow suit.
Last but not least, we both ordered juices. The taste was extremely synthetic.

I really wouldn't recommend this restaurant
We were there only for drinks, which can be found better at the same prices. The drinks are packed with fruit and very large amounts of ice cream that water the taste. The waiters were flabbergasted and managed to make the wrong cocktails, even though the vouchers inscribed the correct ones.
